I came here because of the Yelp reviews! I wanted to pick a place near Golden Gate Park where I could have something, fresh, light and healthy! The food did not disappoint whatsoever -- I picked the wild salmon salad & the salmon was one of the best I've ever had! I had to also get the edamame - which I also enjoy as a snack while walking around the Japanese garden nearby. My mom got the side salad (she had indulged too much in the hotel breakfast buffet, but still wanted to pick something from this restaurant). I ordered California roll and sweet potato fries. Because of health issues, I usually ask to cut the sushi in 10 pieces, instead of 8. I've never been turned down. When I mentioned my request to the waiter, he didn't even bother to ask the chef but responded quickly, No, we can't do that. My dad ordered the Double Rainbow Sushi Bowl (sashimi slices (2 ea) of kanpachi yellowtail, salmon and sesame-seared ahi, crab salad, yuzu tobiko, avocado, wakame, marinated cucumber, pickled ginger, daikon, soy-wasabi vinaigrette, 1/2 mixed organic greens, 1/2 sushi rice), my aunt got the WestCoast Salmon Bowl and I ordered the calamari (not pictured) and the Firecracker Salmon Roll (tempura salmon, avocado, daikon, cucumber, sprouts, crispy shallots, sriracha aioli, sesame seeds). I'd ordered the tuna bowl myself, and the portion's crazy. I could easily turn this into 3 meals. It came with a lot of rice and greens, and was pretty generous with the toppings and protein as well. I'd ordered online for pickup; when I placed my order on their website, it said that I'd receive a text when my order was ready to be picked up, which the estimate said would be like 10-15min, but I ended up waiting closer to 30-40 minute and didn't receive a follow up text, so I just went in, and my order was already prepared and bagged. The person handing me my order was friendly and had a smile!
