The space is big with a lot of seating at tables, high-tops, & booths that can accommodate a few diners or a big party. Natural light comes in through large windows. Music from the 80's & 90's played. TVs around the perimeter played Atmosphere TV. The menu is posted above the counter. You can order at the counter or using a kiosk. They have self-serve Coca-Cola fountain drinks, including Gold Peak Teas. Napkins & condiments are also self-accessible. We got a 12" French Dip with 3 oz of extra meat & extra cheese, & a Supreme Cheesesteak. Food was served piping hot & brought out to our table. The mister liked the French Dip & thought it was tasty with a beefy jus that wasn't salty. However, he said he would order something else next time. I liked the Supreme. It had tender meat, good texture on the veggies, & was cheesy. The bread was nice & soft, but the flip side is that it impacted the structural integrity of the sandwich as I ate. The Fries were wonderfully crunchy. I liked dipping them in fry sauce & Ranch dressing. The mister's sandwich was served with a pickle spear that I took a bite of, but it was not good--fibrous, not juicy, & not very sour. The staff we encountered were friendly. We got checked in on a couple of times. The dining space was well-maintained.

We'd tried others and they just didn't pass the tastebud vibe. This one did. Closer to us and fresh. Bread- warm, slight crisp on the outside, soft inside. Not squishy or saturated in oil. Steak- Flavored and soft, covered in melted cheese. It was yellow American and I do prefer white American for the Cheesesteak but not bad. Onions are grilled and chopped, I prefer them to be slightly bigger but that's just me being picky. Bell peppers- this particular sandwich doesn't come with peppers but I asked for them to be added as a preference. I do wish they were sliced and not chopped and that there were more, but again that is personal preference. If I was to have it my way I'd have the sweet pickled peppers instead. Fries- really good. They remind me of the Boardwalk, growing up. Fries are thick cut and very fresh. Hot to touch lets you know they were made once ordered. We would definitely come here again. Might bring my own peppers and ask for white American next time . The lady taking orders might be the owner. Very friendly.

However, if you like or love cheesesteak sandwiches, I suggest you give this little spot a try. We popped in for dinner to bring home. The two employees (potential owners) working there were super kind and friendly. When I asked if a sandwich could be made without onions, due to allergies, it was no problem. We got home and the food had tempered a bit, so we popped things quickly into the microwave and things were still yummy. Next time, I would eat there. Yes, there is not a lot going on ambiance wise, but their food is freshly prepared, fries are crispy, bread is soft, and meat is delish. Bring your appetite and Philly cheesesteak on!

The cheesesteak was packed with tender beef, grilled onions, mushrooms, crispy bacon (add on), and a ridiculous amount of melted cheese. The bread held everything together perfectly without getting soggy which matters more than people think with cheesesteaks. The cheese fries were also amazing. Crispy fries with plenty of cheese instead of just a light drizzle on top. Portions were solid and everything came out fresh and hot. Seems like it's a family ran restaurant and the service was top notch. Super friendly people here. I also loved the old sports memorabilia so the vibes were perfect for a spot like this. Honestly, it's really good comfort food done right. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in Sacramento again!

My man and I stopped in on a late night while out of town. We were looking for Philly cheese steaks…read moreso hopped on yelp for help. We walked in and the place was a decent size and was very very clean. The bathroom was spotless, and there wasn't even a water steak on the tables they were so well maintained 4.8/5 The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was very quick. We had a few questions about the menu and the lady at the register was patient with us and thorough so we knew exactly what we were getting 4.5/5 Now for the food... we ordered twisted fries, a large drink, the classic Philly and a chicken hoagie. The phillys were delicious, but tasted like any other really great Philly, but these ones stand out a bit more because the bread on these babies is phenomenal 4.6/5. The fries were standard but well fried 3.5/5. The soda fountain offered flavors so we added vanilla to our shared dr. Pepper but it did nothing but make it taste more sugar and less vanilla 2.5/5. Now we HAVE to talk about the price... because, you maaaaay just have to clear out your savings account if you want a 15 inch... which is $31!!! The 7" was $16 and that's pretty pricey for a Philly! Pricing does bring this place down a bit for me... 2.5/5. Overall, I rate this establishment a 4/5

Whoever made my cheesesteaks deserves a raise. Whoever set the prices deserves a drug test…read more I ordered a traditional Philly cheesesteak with a side of Aujus sauce, a chicken cheesesteak, fries, and a Dr Pepper, and I honestly couldn't find a single thing to complain about with the food. The bread was phenomenal, the meat was seasoned perfectly, the chicken cheesesteak was just as good as the traditional, and the fries disappeared so fast I started wondering if someone else was eating them. The restaurant itself was spotless, clean, and had a welcoming atmosphere that made you feel comfortable as soon as you walked in. I also had my APBT (American Pit Bull Terrier) service dog with me, and the staff was nothing but professional and respectful. Nobody made rude comments or treated us differently, which I genuinely appreciated. Then the bill showed up and I had to make sure I hadn't accidentally financed the building. For a minute I thought maybe the sandwiches came with stock options or a monthly mortgage payment. I half expected the cashier to hand me a title deed and say, "Congratulations, you're now a minority owner." All jokes aside, the food was outstanding--damn near perfect. The only thing keeping this place from being absolutely flawless is the price. If your wallet can survive the experience, your taste buds are going to have one hell of a day. Mind you we were givin a 20% discount and that was nice
