#26 Pad Raumit with tofu. Tofu went really well with this dish.

Good Thai food! Good for value. Cooks fast. Ordered #21 Fried long rice w/ beef & 26 Pad raumit w/tofu for 2 of us and shared. Rice is not included in the order. It was delicious. I prefer the broccoli to be more cooked in the Pad raumit, it was half cooked so it was still crunchy but that's just my preference. The tofu was good, I am not vegetarian but I like vegetables and it had lots of different varieties in this stir fry, went really well with tofu. Long rice was well cooked and flavored. My partner liked spicy so he added the chili oil from the jar on the table and be said it was great! Service was quick and nice, no strange vibes from staff. Lots of vegetable dishes here.

Yup we're here... Finding ourselves at Salt Lake Shopping Center for dinner at Pad Thai where it's located along with a few other biz lined up right beside Safeway. Walking in the places very tiny though nice and clean and do manage to have several tables that did fill up quite fast and with that there's no restroom which you need to go to the mall provided one definitely takes a star away for me though the convenience of ample free parking is always nice. We did order the usual preferred dishes of Pad Si Eiw, Yellow Curry with sticky rice and Pad Kra Pao (I could be mistaken with the spelling) okay did I enjoy it...yes though I'm more of an americanized palate but do love Thai basil and the flavorful spices that makes it unique though somehow it just fell short for me visual for me as raw cabbage and carrots as a garnish or accompaniment felt like an afterthought. The vibe is very busy with many taking advantage of their take out is nice to see but it didn't impress me much sadly but love the time spent with friends, thank you Nadine and Peter. Thank you!

We're staying in a hotel off Nimitz and wanted Thai food that wasn't too far away and inexpensive. We found Pad Thai, ordered online, and it was ready in 15 mins. Inside was tiny, I didn't look around too much to see the appeal inside, but they promptly handed me my order when I walked in and said I'm here for a to go order! The food was piping hot, definitely fresh and made to order. My mom got the 33. Tom Yum Soup (Medium Spicy) and it said it came with shrimp. It didn't come with shrimp, it came with chicken, so she was disappointed. They should update their menu online!but the broth was hot, tasted great, and the soup was loaded with mushrooms and chicken. I had the pad Thai. I wanted it spicy but it wasn't so I added my own hot sauce at home. It was good. Both the soup and pad Thai portions were huge and we have enough for a second meal. I also opted to try the mango sticky rice. It wasn't too bad either. The rice was just a big ball soaking in coconut milk, and the mango was sweet but brown in some spots. Overall not a bad dinner, I'd just change a few things.

Sweet sour stir fry with pork, eggplant basil, mild papaya salad

The sweet sour stir fry with pork, eggplant basil, and papaya salad were scrumptious! Both ladies in the front were so attentive with water refills and checked on us to make sure everything was good. I am impressed with the freshly, piping hot cooked dishes served with a smile. Definitely my new favorite Thai restaurant!

Dinner at Salt Lake Shopping Center in Honolulu, Hawaii... Looking for a restaurant that Irene M. and I haven't visited yet is challenging. We wanted to select Thai cuisine because it's Peter Y.'s favorite. Peter said he had been to Pad Thai in the past and he had liked it. We wondered how long ago his experience had taken place because there was room for improvement... We appreciated the free shared parking. It was tight because - after work, people tend to want to go grocery shopping at Safeway; go to the credit union; grab some dinner; have dessert; Etc. Yes... it was a busy time. We didn't have a reservation, but got seated before the crowd arrived. It was a good thing that Peter warned me about the restroom... it's "far away" - by Safeway - and up the stairs. I got the key from one of the workers and headed across the way. It was spooky because a guy was coming up the stairs behind me. I entered the gated area quickly and shut the door behind me immediately! I went to the last stall and let out a scream because there was a woman in there! She hadn't locked the door! OMG! Outside of the restaurant, some sketchy people were hanging around. There was an undernourished gal who was talking to herself while a guy was trying to pick her up... like in a flirting way... LOL! Cringe! Inside the cozy restaurant, we ordered Pad see ew, Pad kra pao, and yellow curry with sticky rice. The food seemed a bit Americanized because - for example - the Pad see ew had celery and baby corn in it! The yellow curry was almost bland and the sauce was liquidy... The Pad kra pow was missing a fried egg on the top and a bed of rice on the bottom. Instead, it had bell peppers and bamboo shoots mixed in... LOL! I'm glad we got a chance to try this place together. It might be a rare one and done visit... Thanks to Irene and Peter for the very interesting conversation and super great company!

OVERALL 4.5/5 PARKING: Free in the shopping center parking lot AMBIANCE: Feels very mom n pop, about 7-8 tables inside, when I came nearly all the tables were full, weekday at 5pm. FOOD: I wanted quick take out, so I called in a quick order of shrimp pad thai and also an order of spring rolls, which are basically egg rolls. It was ready in 15 minutes. The shrimp pad thai had 6 good sized shrimp and a small container of chopped peanuts. The spring rolls had a few slices of cucumber, and some lettuce to wrap the egg rolls up in, along with a clear dipping sauce. Big fan of those spring rolls!

One of my favorite thai food places on island! Dined in this time. Server came super quick. Brought water and took order. Food came out quickly. Chicken sateh was amazing. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. I enjoyed the peanut butter sauce and the coconut sauce on top - yum! The green curry was good. I just wish it was a little thicker as it was a little runny and soupy, but the flavor was definitely there. The rad nah is my absolute favorite! So flavorful and delicious with yummy noodles. I'll be back again! Parking: Lots of parking in the shopping center

Ordered the classic Pad Thai and fresh summer rolls for a quick lunch craving, and this spot delivered authentic Thai balance without the tourist traps. The Pad Thai shone with wok-charred rice noodles that absorbed every bit of the tamarind-fish sauce glory--tangy sour up front, subtle palm sugar sweetness, and umami depth that wasn't drowned in sweetness like some watered-down versions. Loaded with crunchy bean sprouts, scrambled egg bits, tender shrimp or chicken, and those little preserved radish pops for complexity, plus a generous peanut crunch on top. Not saucy or heavy; it left that satisfied, fresh-afterglow feeling with a lime squeeze elevating the whole thing. Summer rolls were a crisp, refreshing counterpoint--rice paper wrappers hugging julienned cukes, carrots, vermicelli, lettuce, and herbs without sogginess or excess dipping sauce needed. Light shrimp inside peeked through beautifully, adding sweet brininess that paired perfectly pre-Pad Thai. No heavy frying; just clean, vibrant textures that screamed freshness

Came in craving Thai food and it absolutely hit the spot…read more The beef pad krapow was so flavorful -- perfectly seasoned with that bold, savory-spicy kick and fragrant basil. The beef was tender, and the heat level was just right (spicy but still balanced). So good over rice. The chicken panang curry was rich, creamy, and comforting. I appreciate the little button at the table that I could click for service. The food, however, was mediocre at best. My friend and I ordered the pad Thai with tofu, ginger chicken, chicken satay, and pork larb. The pad Thai was the best dish, but it was very tomatoey, which I did not expect. The chicken with ginger had very little chicken. It was mostly julienned vegetables, including celery which I do not care for. The chicken satay was kinda dry and most certainly needed the peanut sauce to make it palatable. The larb was very dry with very bland flavor, served on one lettuce leaf and a wedge of cabbage. How am I supposed to eat that? All of it was quite disappointing, especially for the price point. As I was eating this meal I remembered the Thai food truck at the end of Ward, where Fisherman's Pier used to be. Now THAT was some good Thai food. I guess that was the best thing about this meal-remembering where I could get really good Thai food-so that the next time I'm having a craving, I can go back over there...I hope it's still there.

I just looked today and it is now closed until June 5. Maybe they are doing renovations. We came for Mother's Day. I was a little nervous because it's been years since we have eaten here and it appeared to look like a lot of tourists eating here. I'm Thai and I was wondering if I was going to be disappointed. I remember the food being OK so I kept an open mind. I decided to order something I normally would not which is the clay pot crab with glass noodles. it was OK. The crab didn't have a huge prominent taste and glass noodles are just meh to me. We also ordered the crab fried rice which was exceptional. I would definitely order that again. There was so much flavor in the rice. I also ordered a yum salad with tofu. That was also good. I loved the chili lime dressing and the added cilantro made it taste even more fresh. The lettuce leaves were huge though. I'm not sure why they were the size of a hamburger patty. It made for eating the salad challenging and messy. My kid had the salmon curry. She loved it. She doesn't handle spice so she asked for a level 2. Level two was spicy for her but she was able to eat it. Being Thai I did not feel it was spicy at all. But it did have a little bit of heat. The Mr ordered the crispy garlic chicken. It was a huge plate of it. He said it was good. He also ordered beef masuman. I will say that the portion seemed tiny. He said it was also good. I actually was pleasantly surprised this time around as I remember coming years ago and it was just OK. About the music. I did read lots of comments about their music Choice. It's not classical but jazz. To my astonishment it was extremely loud. The music Choice was not the issue but the loudness of it. I'm not sure if they tried to make it loud to sound like live music or not. We couldn't even talk to each other because we would've ended up shouting. That's really our only complaint.

Since it was just about half hour to closing there was plenty of parking that right in front of the restaurant that's usually filled it couldn't be any easier as this wide open concept is unique but just love the thought of a nice hot meal. I got the Pad Ki Mao which say "medium spicy" but love that it comes with bean sprouts, and fresh basil and how it came pipping hot and how wonderful it was...lots of seating inside along with lots of colorful art as the Moili'ili location is closed it's nice to have other locations to settle my cravings along with a nice hot meal. Thank you!

Mathnasium of Waialae had an agreement with the previous 2 owners of the Red Elephant and Siam Garden to allow parking in each others lots when we were very slow or closed. Now, all of the sudden the new owner of the red elephant is refusing our members from using the red elephant parking lot when they are virtually empty. That said if we can't share their parking between 3 and 5 pm on weekdays when they are or on the weekends when they have no customer's or are very slow we cannot allow parking in our lot when we are closed. which including all evenings on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday's. Please know that parking across the street at Times and Longs or on the other side of red-elephant can get you towed. It is a shame too because I know from our security footage that all five of our spaces have been utilized many evenings on many different nights for many a couple of hours after 7:00 pm and most from hours from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm on Fridays when we are closed. The agreement worked awesome for over 6 years and the new owner is refusing to continue the agreement.

The food was so good, all warm and delicious. Had a bit of a wait for the check but the atmosphere makes up for it. The host and server were attentive and sweet. This is such a cute hidden gem, I wish I knew about this place earlier in life. I'd love to come back.

We ordered yellow curry, panang curry, pad kee mao, roti, chicken wings, pad kaprow, and a chicken noodle soup. The waiter brought out the dishes within minutes. The serving size was just right for the noodle and rice dishes, but I thought the curry size was a little small. I tried every single dish and they were delicious! Every dish had tons of flavor. The wings were crispy along with the roti. We dipped it into a curry sauce since we had a person allergic to peanuts. Yum! When I come back to Waikiki, I will definitely come back here again. Service was quick, they tended to our needs, and food was phenomenal! Come and taste it for yourself!

The fact that it was…read morepacked on a weeknight told us everything we needed to know -- we figured if it's that busy, it had to be good. So we walked right in on a whim and honestly couldn't have made a better decision. The vibe inside is casual and lively, great for people watching right in the heart of Waikiki. Staff were on top of everything from the moment we sat down -- attentive, friendly, and helpful with the menu. No complaints there at all. Now the food -- let's talk about it. The Papaya Salad was hands down one of the best we've ever had. Fresh, bright, punchy flavor. Fair warning though -- it has some kick to it, so if you're spice sensitive just give them a heads up. The Chicken Pad Thai was excellent, and we loved that it came with tofu as well -- generous and flavorful. The Tom Yum Soup with shrimp was a hit at the table, that classic sweet, sour, and savory broth done right. Kids enjoyed it too which is always a win -- and that's saying something because kids are tough critics. Prices are reasonable especially for being right in the middle of Waikiki where everything tends to cost a premium. Walkable from pretty much everywhere on the strip which makes it super convenient for a spontaneous dinner like ours.
