We basically planned our whole bachelor party around going to Paddys and partying since we have been here before and loved it. It was their grand opening weekend and had a few events planned which looked so fun. We made a reservation probably weeks prior online for lunch and didn't hear back from any staff. The day of it was bad weather so we walked in the rain to see what the deal was for the reservation and the events were still on. We were greeted by a hand written sign saying the restaurant and club was totally closed for the whole weekend due to the weather. Nowhere on their website, social media pages was posted about it being totally shut down for the grand opening weekend. What a cute spot on the beach! Walking up off the beach you see it packed with people. It had a spot for music, a bar area, and it was lively. We still got our food in a good amount of time, and our girl checked on us a few times. The food that we got was good, a nice juicy burger and decent thin cut fries. My children got chicken that I will say it's better than some other stand food spots a little further down that tasted more chewy. I came to the Tiki Bar at Paddy's Beach Club for a charity beach party. The tiki bar had ample comfortable seating. My friends & I were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was - we tried the chilled lobster roll, smoked wings, coconut shrimp, and fish tacos. The coconut shrimp had this delicious sweet/spicy sauce. My friend's only complaint about the lobster roll was that it was stuffed with too much lettuce. We def had to fight the seagulls over our leftovers lol All the drinks we tried were delicious - big shout out to BFF bartenders G&J who took great care of us. Mediocre, overpriced food in a nice setting with good service. Was there on a mid-summer weeknight and the place was relatively uncrowded for that time of year. Limited menu of seafood pub-grub. An overly salty crust was on all of the deep fried food, which was presented nicely, but nothing special - it must make patrons thirsty for more beer. /service was good, but they were not at all busy. The food was good but wasn't worth the price. I understand we are near the beach and everything is a lot more expensive but I wouldn't mind paying the price if the food was out of this world. For appetizers I ordered the plain chicken wings but was expecting at least a bit of salt. Plain doesn't mean no seasoning it just means I don't want the sauce. Was there 08/05/2024 in the afternoon. Food was okay. Just horrendous serving as the server spilled hot butter on my leg. Did he offer to even bring a towel or napkin? No. Just said sorry and walked away. Very rude fellow I would suspect you'd find in prison working in the kitchen. Steamers were good but had to pay $2.00 for extra toast to dip in the butter sauce. The actual stuffy was not salty but the whole combination was just too much. I told the female bartender this but she ignored and checked me out and gave me my tab. She even decided to have the male bartender come and take care of us because the 3 other patrons were friends and she decided to catch up with them. I asked for a wet napkin like every other restaurant he was going to spray water on my dry napkin but the female stood back and corrected him and handed me a wet napkin. I came here for Tikki beach and went next door because paddy beach owns the establishment. I should have gone a Buffalo Wild Wings since a franchise is more friendly. Fun! Fun! Fun! This restaurant/bar always has a solid food and drink selection as well as a party atmosphere. Yesterday, they had a DJ playing top hits, it is loud, and really, I just wanted to dance, but no one was ... darn! The drinks are good/ banana butt is ally go to favorite when I am there. If you purchase a drink in one of the fancy cups, you get a discount on a variety of drinks for future purchases. It is a good deal! I had the tuna tar tar for my meal and I loved it. I tried a bite of my husbands sausage and clam and it was delicious but a small portion. My son's fish taco was incredible! Loved it. Our server Victoria handled our table of 11 with ease and although she didn't hear me say "calamari" for an appetizer and only heard the wings, she's forgiven because she was so sweet and made sure everyone was happy. One negative- the bathrooms in the restaurant are kind of gross . I wish they would keep up with them better! Reminder- you are not going to a fancy restaurant- you are paying for a beach view and decent food- I've always had a good meal but go in with those expectations and be ready to talk loudly with your table mates and just. Alright so we came here a second time because my sister just loves Paddy's drinks. Honestly she might be more in love with the fruity colors than the flavor and alcohol content... So we arrived without reservation and were seated quickly outside. We ordered the tator tot nachos, soft pretzels with a side of beer cheese and what was supposed to be Mexican street corn. Here's my verdict: --Tator tot nachos came with barely any pulled pork and a few jalapenos. They DID however come with a ton of ketchup. The dish is drenched in it and yet, pretty flavorless. The first two bites just tasted like sugar....that's all we ate of it since we found a hair shortly after. The waitress was nice enough to take the plate away and remove it from our tab. --Soft pretzels were filling and sauces were alright (whole grain mustard that's oddly sweet, honey mustard and a chipotle mayo). The beer cheese was fine...tasted like a mild mix of maybe provolone, sour cream and cheddar). Nice presentation. --Mexican street corn was meh but that might be because it was missing the lime and Tajin chile that are usually thrown on real Mexican street corn. Anyway, we ate all of it because it still came with cheese and chipotle mayo. Presentation was beautiful though! To drink, we got some beers...cost was $9 for a glass and $5 for refills. read more

Putrid smell throughout restaurant. The waitress Danielle F. Was rude, forgetful, and very stingy with the refills on the rare occasion she visited our table. She forgot to get the pickles, and coleslaw for multiple members of our party, multiple times, even after we reminded her repeatedly, even though the menu states it's included with the burger. Food was sub-par, and one of our party had to send his burger back repeatedly 3-4 times because it had coleslaw when he clearly stated he didn't want coleslaw, before he decided he wasn't hungry. Bun was moldy on one other burger, and all was cooked improperly. They stated they could not split the bill, and included a mandatory 18% gratuity, which some of us did not budget for previously. Unless you want to catch a serious case of food poisoning, and have the worst dining experience of your life, please keep yourself and your family away from this establishment. P. S. There are such mixed reviews for this place, I wasn't expecting much, but it really wasn't bad at all! My husband, son and I went on a Wednesday evening for dinner, and the place wasn't crowded at all. The location (right on the beach) can't be beat, and the service was prompt and friendly. I had the Lobster Grilled Cheese, my husband had the Fish Tacos and my son got a burger. Everything was tasty! It wasn't a top-notch high-end dinner by any means, but it was definitely a decent meal with a great view. I imagine this place gets pretty packed on the weekends and in the summer, so we'll avoid it at those times, but during the week or in the off season, we'll definitely be back! read more

Had one of the worst experiences of my life at this place. I'm still trying to figure it out, but I was sitting at the bar by myself unable to find a bartender to get me a drink. Sat there for 30 min trying to flag people down politely and they kept ignoring me then a bartender comes up to me and says sir, you have to leave and I'm like OK. I was here yesterday for lunch and after being sat down for 15 minutes no one came to take our drink order. We had to ask someone who wasn't our server if we could get some drinks and she said she would get our server. After another 10 minutes of just waiting for drinks our server, Camryn, finally came to get our drink order and at that point we just put in our food order as well. We had ordered two sodas and waited another 20 minutes for those to come out. My tacos came out and the sauce for them was split all over the plate so I asked for more sauce and she said she would get it and we then waited again for 10 minutes just for sauce. Servers are top notch especially this beautiful young lady named Becca, she was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the establishment. This place has gone so down hill over the past few years, which has nothing to do with the pandemic whatsoever. When we used to come here for drinks every summer on vacation in the years back, the drinks would be filled to the brim when you bought the glasses with the drinks the first time around. The refills would then be way cheaper. Needless to say we've gotten so many glasses from paddy's over the years and bring them to order drinks. Coming today, we ordered a round of drinks and the banana butt was given to us in a short glass which normally fills up the paddy's glass to the brim. See picture below. Both drinks were the same size, not sure why but the piña colada was about four dollars more. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the fried clam strips. I thought the food was pretty good. It's definitely a nice ambience because you're sitting right out on the deck and you could look onto the beach. When we were done eating we walked around the corner and went for a swim. I visited Paddy's a few weekends ago and was surprised how much this place has changed. I understand that COVID has changed the way that businesses operate but it does not justify how sketchy this place has become. We most likely won't be coming back. First, when we arrived at the restaurant we parked in the Paddy's parking lot and were told by the staff that parking would be $25 (down from $50 because we had a reservation). It seems a little scam-y to charge for parking when we're going to spend money at your place. Finally, when we were going to check out we received a bill for around $92. We gave a card payment and the waitress returned the card and the receipt having charged us $118. They gave themself a $26 gratuity without even asking us. And I am pretty sure it happened the time before we went too. It's nice to go to a beach location to enjoy the view and get a drink or two. But be careful and check your bill after they run your card. Oh and park somewhere else unless you want to pay an arm and a leg to park. read more

I had my bachelorette party there and we had called a week in advance to make a reservation and were told we wouldn't be able to fit us all at one table due to the restrictions. This we totally understood, however, when we showed up they separated our group and sat us at completely opposite sides of the patio despite there being open tables next to each other. When I had asked if we could sit at tables closer to each other the manager put on a temper tantrum in front of all the guests and then proceeded to tell my guests that I was being rude. When we finally were seated it took an extremely long time to get any type of service. We almost didn't leave a tip but because a few of my friends work in the restaurant industry they felt obligated to leave a tip. Overall it was an awful experience. We were bringing in a lot of customers and money and we weren't treated how paying customers should be treated. We were even treated with respect. This was my bachelorette party which planning anything let alone a wedding during this time has been to say the least stressful. And to have a manager at a place where we are giving significant business to call me "rude" to my other guests was despicable. read more

Imagine you own a time share in misquamicut for 15 years and called this place your second home and then ask for some support from a manager (power hungry and ego driven) and get called a piece of shit, he just wants you to get the fuck out, and tells you that you think you are better than everyone else. We were sunburned and hungry so we wanted to eat under shade but they have rules that stop people from being safe. If lisa gets sun poisoning you better believe Paddys will be brought into court for it. Here's the problem before it was escalated: we already spent money on food and drinks and also put our name in for a table. When we tried to get a cocktail table we were told we have to spend more money to sit their. When we tried to transfer our food to the table we waited 30 mins for we were told we had to spend more money. Why is this okay? Managers are supposed to be talented at deescalating a situation and provide great customer service and this was the complete opposite. We hope that with the feedback we provided Andrew can understand what his actions cause to very loyal customers. The sad thing is that we will be back because we love this place for its atmosphere but we don't want anyone to ever feel like we felt in the situation with the manager Andrew. You don't kick out unhappy customers you find out how to understand their needs no matter how uncomfortable they make you feel as a manger and you please them. We spent around $100 just today alone and are here for a week and would have done the same everyday. Today we went to Paddy's from around 11am till around 3pm. We ordered and paid for many drinks. There were some issues with trying to buy the right cup for the right drink, and only certain cups could be used for certain drinks. It was exhausting trying to even order a drink, but I could get past that and I didn't want it to ruin my day. Eventually our group (a group of 8) wanted to get food. So we ordered $126 worth of food at around 3pm. When our food came out it started to down pour, so we all moved under the tent. We already paid for our food so we figured we'd grab a seat so we didn't get rained on. There was a table with no people at it but it was dirty, so I cleared the table off a little so we could eat our food. Eventually someone came out to tell us we couldn't eat there and we had to get our stuff boxed up in to go boxes. This guy who came out was extremely aggressive and extremely disrespectful. I was with my entire family and we already paid for our meal AND left a tip. ($126 plus a 20% tip) so I thought telling us we couldn't eat anywhere in the building was unacceptable. Eventually after talking to this guy I told him I wanted to talk to a manager and he said he was the manager which I then told him that he needs to either get better at managing or he should be fired. He told me that I "Knew" it was going to rain and that it's my fault there is no where for my family to eat. This guy, who is the manager for the tent area at 3pm, and I got into a disagreement and he proceeded to get inches away from my face and started shouting at me and making some pretty threatening gestures towards me in front of the entire restaurant. It is embarrassing for me and shameful for the business. He did this multiple times. He eventually kicked me out to the pouring rain with no food and no money back. So I paid for a product and service that I did not even receive. Shortly after I left the building and got soaked, my family was placed at a table to stand and eat. Which at that point no one was even hungry and they all wanted to just leave. So with all that said, I would like the charges reversed on my credit card. Me nor my family got anything that was paid for. I'm not sure what information you need. The total without tip was $126.35. Updating my review from a few years ago. Went a few weeks bag to snag some drinks and food after my boyfriend and I's trip to the beach that day. Went up to the host stand after meandering through the crowd of Pauly D wannabes and was told it would be about 20 minutes for a table - totally fine, figured we would grab some drinks at the bar. My boyfriend and I went up to the bar and were standing waiting our turn to be served. After about 5 minutes we shrugged it off as the bar being busy (which it was) but we had become angry when several of the bartenders ignored us completely and served everyone around us including the gentleman that had gotten to the bar well after us. We decided to sit and try to order our food at the bar, thinking maybe this would let one of the bartenders know we were ready to order.. I think not. We continued to be ignored and an older woman sitting next to us who had gotten there well after us had gotten served.. She had also ordered another drink for her husband who wasn't even present (Um.. I see you guys having issues in the near future with underage drinking). This place used to be cool. Not sure what happened here. I came back to this place after being out of town for several years. I went to Paddy's specifically to see a band play that night. I paid before entering and had a paper bracelet put on my wrist that indicated that I A) paid for the ticket for the event, and B) was old enough to drink. It was about 8PM. I sat at the bar and tried to get a drink. I say "tried" because the bartender seemed to be oblivious to the fact that I was there and when he did finally notice me, he made some rude comment about my hair. I was so taken aback, I didn't know what to say. Shortly after that, I went to the bathroom and when I returned, my chair that I had been sitting on at the bar was gone, and I noticed other patron's chairs were being taken from them as well. I witnessed one man who was (understandably) very angry when his wife's chair was taken away and he nearly got into a fight with the bouncer over it. When I asked the bartender what was up with our chairs being removed, he said that it was to make room at the bar so that people could get their drinks???? This explanation made no sense to me. I've been to many bars and restaurants with people sitting on chairs/stools at the bar, and never, not once, have I or anyone else thrown up their hands in exasperation and said: "Oh well, I guess we can't get a drink because someone is sitting on a stool at the bar". When the music started, for some reason, not one, but THREE men (all staff working there) circled me AT THE SAME TIME and asked me to show my admission bracelet. It was REALLY creepy. My partner and I were invited to a surprise party for a relative involving a party of 15. As with any restaurant we're invited to, that doesn't have any plant based items on the menu (Paddy's didn't, aside from the Bavarian Pretzels on their "Beach Bites" menu), I called ahead. In this case I initially called a couple of weeks in advance to see what our options might be in time for RSVP-ing to the party. I had talked to a manager who essentially couldn't promise me anything unless the host was having the party catered in which case he could've ordered a vegan item off of the catering menu. He wasn't, so I was instructed to send an email a couple of days before the event to remind the manager of our request so that they could have the proper ingredients on hand. I emailed four days in advance. No response by the end of day two so I called and was told the chef was out buying us "special chickpea pasta". At this point, I assumed the chef made the gluten free/vegan mistake in thinking they're both the same thing (we're not gluten free). Regardless, after I let the manager know that unless they're egg noodles, generally any store bought pasta is vegan. During this conversation, we were told that because this was a special request each dish would cost $24! Long story shorter, we attended the party with no expectations. We ended up ordering the Bavarian Pretzels as an appetizer. They came with a cheese sauce and a maple mustard. Pleasantly surprised by the maple instead of honey mustard offering, we were disappointed that it was way more maple than mustard, so we put it aside, asking for yellow mustard instead. All mustard issues aside, the pretzels were lip-smacking. They were soft and moist on the inside and perfectly browned and slightly crisp on the outside, with the right amount of salt. The yellow mustard happened to be a welcome addition. Our entrees arrived and upon first inspection we were dubious of the cream sauce covering the pasta, so before we dug in, we double checked with the waiter who was initially skeptical as well. He checked with the chef, and we were told it was a cashew cream sauce! There was a healthy mix of vegetables tossed in with the sauce. The anticipation built as we took our first bites. Yum? The effort was there. The dish just lacked salt and/or nutritional yeast. It was pretty bland and without character. We added some salt and pepper and were more pleased. I must say, Paddy's was the most difficult dining establishment to secure a couple of plant based dishes than any restaurant we've ever eaten at.
