I give ANY place 5 stars if they give me GREAT service. Small but cozy place that seems genuinely Brazilian and authentic. I was waiting for a Brazilian woman with a big juicy ass to walk by any second. Their ACAI cup was cheap compared to other places I've gotten ACAI from. The ACAI was good but a little too watery for what I prefer. Other than that it was good for the price. I also ordered one Coxinha (sp?) which was savory and oddly reminded me of a big juicy Brazilian female booty.. Great little spot!! read more

Sunstream Coffee was a quaint little Brazilian bakery that we thought would bode well for a quick snack. Little did we know that we were in for a ride. The inside of the shop is really small, with seating for less than 10 people, let alone elbow room for those people. It is not fancy by any means, like most ethnic stores usually are. The guy working the counter was nice though; not too engaging, but still offering service. We ordered a few different things from the pastry case that they have as well as an OJ. The juice was actually pretty good as were some of the pastries. The beef quibe would be my top choice, followed by the pao de queijo. The coxinhas here are what caused my rating to plummet from a 5 star rating to a 1 star. We all tried a bit of the coxinha and we all got violently ill after eating them. We know that this is the culprit because it was the only thing that each one of us had eaten. Looking back, we should have known something was up when we looked in the trash and saw tons of coxinha thrown in there. I am guessing that the chicken and cream cheese based pastries had been sitting out for quite some time and the guy working there had not gotten around to discarding all of the ones in the display. Came here to see if the acai bowl could help stave off my Cafe Brasil cravings. It's not quite the same. I think it's missing the apple juice element and likely some other secrets, but it was still fairly good. A favorite Saturday morning spot for me. The Acai bowls are so yummy and fulfilling. It's the perfect thing to get you going in the morning. Full of antioxidants and energy! Yumm. Authentic brazilian pastries!! They also have todinho, guarana, dadinho and bubbalo, all treats that a typical brazilian " padaria" would sell. I felt like home! And ahhh.. the acai.. The food and drinks here are really good. The acai berry with granola and banana is amazing. Their cheese bread is really hard to bite into, but its so good and doughy on the inside. I come here sometimes, not too often because their prices are a little outrageous. Definetely one of my favorite spots for breakfast! Acai bowls, shakes, Brazilian pastries! Can't go wrong! Being south american i get that feeling of almost being back home. The coffee is also really tasty! I stumbled across this place on my way back from dropping my car off at Firestone's service center. I was looking for change for the 38 to get me home. I had a $20 so to be nice I bought a couple of the pastries. Went home to await the call from Firestone and my wife and I cracked into the pastries box. Wow... We were pleasantly surprised, quite tasty little treats they were. The only reason I gave them 4 starts instead of 5 was because of the Russian soap opera that they were playing on the television. GREAT brazilian empanada style pastries - a new go to for lunch for me. two doors down from the firestone auto shop - don't blink or you'll miss it. - the chicken pie, chicken empanada and beef pastry.... and corn pastry are my favorites.... also good juice selection... after years not knowing it existed I'm hooked! read more

Well I always come to this place and never left them a review, this guys are cool, you come in order your pastry grab your fresh squeezed orange juice and you good to go for a whole day, I don't usually have coffee there cause I always pass by for lunch, when I don't feel like having a whole full lunch, so I always park my car sit down order 2 pastries I recommend of course the "coxinha" and "disco" my fav, ask for mayo and ketchup and hmm delicious! Don't forget to try their homemade hot sauce, but make sure you only but a bit, it will burn your tongue down! Unfortunitely some of you are right they are a bit unfriendly at times I guess because of the lack of the English language they tend not to extended a conversation, the place is small but hey its only a small coffee shop! Tell you the truth I even feel like going there today, I'll give the owner a heads up about yelp and about them being a bit more friendly to the american clientèle. Great acai bowl (especially because I love guarana)! Their Coxhina is so yummy. I like it much better than Porto's potato balls.

Husband and I went there 30 minutes before closing on a Friday night. We didn't feel rushed and got helped right away. I had a pastry filled with chicken and potatoes (?) and hubby had 2 chicken coixhinas, along with our guaranas. All soooo yummy! We love brazilian foods, and they did not disappoint. Then we had to try the avocado shake. Just the right hint of sweetness. We brought home an extra cheese bread, that was my favorite item for sure! My only request is for them to stay open later than 6...it's hard to get there after work before then! read more

My Brazilian husband and I have been craving coxinha (chicken croquettes) and pao de qeijo (cheese bread) for some time now. So, we were in the hunt for a great place that would have great Brazilian pastries without having to pay American restaurant price for it. We found it at Sunstream Coffee today! The guy who runs the place was Brazilian and we started speaking in Portuguese. Immediately, we felt like we were back in Brasil having breakfast or having a coffee break. We ordered the cafezinho (Brazilian espresso), coxinha, pao de quijo, esfiha de frango com palmito (deep fried pastry with chicken and hearts of palm), Risoli de Camarao (pastry with shrimp and hearts of palm), and a can of guarana (Brazilian soda). They were tasted great and very authentic - comparable to the pastries we would get in Sao Paulo. The cafezinho was excellent - I would recommend it if you're a coffee drinker. It's very different from a regular espresso. The coxinha pastry was crispy and the filling was rich and tasty - just how it should be. The pao de quijo was the best pastry we had and definitely better than ones you would get in a churrascaria (Brazilian steakhouse). And, everything was very affordable. The place is not a sit down restaurant. It has limited seats, but a lot of locals drop by and pick up pastries to go. We would definitely come back here. read more

Brazilian deliciousness. This shop offers meat and fruit pastries and fresh fruit smoothies. The smoothies are flavorful and light and refreshing. We had the fresh squeezed Orange juice. We also tried the mango, Avocado, and the Fresh Orange and wild cherry smoothies. The fresh Orange juice and lite sweetness made these smoothies remarkable. Can't say enough about the meat pastries.
