Dry pizza

Dry as the desert! Usually very good, but they offer a HH50 happy hour code for 50% off and it is terrible. So angry. Called the mgr and I was offered $20 credit, but I don't think that I will ever order again. The more bites I took, the more disappointing it was. Entire family was mad. What a waste of money!

Pepperoni pizza

My favorite pizza spot but they have way more than just good pizza the steak and cheese is really good and they have huge salads if you haven't tried it's definitely worth stopping by

We were visiting from out of town and staying at a hotel. Online ordering was a breeze, and I liked the ability to track our order in case things weren't on time. However, delivery was on time, directly to our hotel room, and the employee was friendly. The pizzas were as delicious as I had hope and it was a great deal (BOGO) on NYE! We remembered to tip based on the original price though. They gave a lot of red pepper packets too. (Not my thing but hey, I'd rather have too much than not enough)

While at work I decided to place a delivery order or pizza with Paisano's. I was very pleased with their delivery service during the social distancing era we're currently living in. I included the tip in advance in order to minimize my interaction with the delivery driver. When he pulled up to my place of work I noticed that he removed the boxes of pizza from his trunk. I prefer that over having the pizza traveling in the same area of the car as the driver. I also really liked that the boxes were sealed with a sticker. I've never ordered pizza from this establishment so I'm not sure if this is typical for them or not, in any case I really like that. It'll show the customer that their pizza was not tampered with. Additionally, the pizza was really good! I'll definitely order pizza from Paisano's again. Recently tried their cauliflower crust pizza and it was amazing

Did someone dump the whole veg garden on the pizza?? This is a overkill not NY Style at all

A good option to have in my neck of the woods. I didn't visit the restaurant personally, so I can't comment on ambiance. Hubby picked up a pizza and gyro to go. He said the service was quick and friendly. I was in the mood for a gyro and Paisano's satisfied my craving for one. The pizza crust was thin, which I enjoyed. They are generous with the toppings. No, it's not the best pizza I've ever tasted, but still quite good. Their gyro came with lots of meat and they are definitely generous with the serving. You can definitely split this dish. Overall, I'm glad we tried this place out.

The Margherita Pizza is the best. Their wings were somewhat over cooked but good.

I'm usually not a white wine drinker, but my fiancé ordered a glass of Terre d'Abruzzo Pecorino, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was incredibly crisp, bright, and refreshing--one of the rare white wines I'd happily order myself. For dinner, we had the Il Misto in garlic sauce and the Linguini Vongole in garlic sauce. A fun touch was that they come around with freshly grated Parmesan and will keep sprinkling it until you tell them to stop. The Il Misto was loaded with a generous variety of seafood, and the garlic sauce leaned creamy without feeling too heavy. The Linguini Vongole was equally enjoyable--the clams tasted fresh with a pleasantly briny flavor that wasn't overly "fishy," and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Overall, this was a satisfying Italian dinner with quality seafood, attentive little touches, and a wine that unexpectedly won me over. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

I wish that San Marzano sauce was on those balls, though! The atmosphere was more "Italian diner" than "nice restaurant", but the food was good enough to please everyone. Tables were kinda jammed together. Service was great though as the waitress was always stopping by to see what else we needed for our meals. Our table got a bit crowded for 3 of us, but that's probably because we're pigs.

Our son brought us to one of his favorite restaurants, and now we completely understand why. We had a wonderful table on the patio, which made for a perfect evening. We started with the Shrimp Bad Bing and the baked meatballs, and both were absolutely delicious. For our entrée, my wife and I shared the Short Rib Ragu, and it was outstanding. We'd order it again in a heartbeat. Our grandkids loved their spaghetti and meatballs, which made everyone at the table happy. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. As we looked around and saw other dishes being served, we realized there are so many more menu items we want to try. We're already looking forward to coming back--and we'll probably be there next Friday for happy hour! If you've never been, don't wait 20 years like we did. Highly recommended!

From the staff who took our reservation, she was so polite, and concerned if we had any issues that they should be aware of; which we did, we had two with mobility issues, so she made sure we were seated on the first level. We sat on the patio which was a great idea, beautiful outdoor dining area. Our waitress was great, she had full knowledge of the menu and made great recommendations, from appetizers to entrees. We started our experience with orders of the arancini filled with bolognese with peas and mozzarella , Zeppoles with prosciutto and hot honey drizzle, fried artichokes with a garlic aioli, and the house meatballs topped with mozzarella and baked. They were awesome! Deliciousness in every bite! On to our entrees, I ordered the spicy seafood pasta, mussels, shrimp and scallops over homemade tagliatelle with a spicy marinara sauce. The stuffed gnocchi, light fluffy pillows of pasta stuffed with Asiago cheese with a sun dried tomato cream sauce. Chicken Milanese topped with a lemon butter sauce and a tomato conserva and arugula salad. Rigatoni ala Vodka. And our final dish sausage ragu bianco, homemade radiatorre pasta in a spicy sausage ragu sauce. All of the entrees were phenomenal, we each tried some of each!!! We ended our meal with the best Tiramisu we've had in a long time, Basque cheesecake, and a cannoli. From start to finish we were blown away! If you haven't eaten there or it's been a while, GO GO GO!

First off - our server was great! So no complaints there. We are new to the area and are obviously…read moretrying new/non chain restaurants when we can. The restaurant itself is old school Italian with the drippy candles in wine bottles and dated decor. It could definitely use a facelift - and still maintain that classic Italian restaurant vibe. The food was the most disappointing part of the journey. Calamari that was chewy and not at all seasoned - clearly frozen and out of a bag and our meals were no better. I LOVE veal saltimbocca and get it whenever I can. The veal was thick, mozzarella wasn't fresh, and it was drowning in canned mushrooms. Nothing about our meal said fresh. We were leaving the next day for a quick trip so we did not take our leftovers home, but I can honestly say we wouldn't have even if we didn't have a trip planned.

I had this out of the blue chicken marsala craving and did a little research and decided to give…read moreCantina D'Italia a shot. I will start off by saying that I had low expectations given the track record of non-chain Italian restaurants I've tried since living in northern VA of which 85% have been terrible (remember I'm from NJ where Italian food should be the state food). But I said YOLO, crossed my fingers and ordered the marsala via GrubHub. The moral of the story is that I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by Cantina D'Italia overall because the marsala was pretty tasty, spaghetti cooked almost perfectly, garlic bread with cheese perfectly seasoned and cheesy and they sent an added little unexpected bonus of a pretty side salad with a homemade vinaigrette and fresh Italian bread and butter! Oh and the portion was HUGE! Totally got 2-3 meals out of it. Cantina D'Italia has given me hope ... or I should say at least gave me an Italian restaurant I just might frequent and explore all the other menu options :)

My wife specifically ordered the eggplant arancini because our family is very careful about what we eat. Instead, she was served sausage arancini disguised under marinara sauce and unknowingly ate some before realizing the mistake. By that point, the trust was gone. We had no choice but to walk out as a family. What made the situation even worse was that we were flying out that evening and simply wanted to enjoy a peaceful dinner together before our trip. Our son became so upset that he cried, and the entire evening was overshadowed by something that should never have happened. This is not simply about receiving the wrong order. People avoid certain foods for religious reasons, ethical reasons, health reasons, or allergies. Serving a completely different item without proper verification is a serious failure. In a diverse community like Northern Virginia, restaurants must understand that dietary restrictions and food choices deserve respect and careful attention. A restaurant's first responsibility is to ensure that customers are served what they actually ordered. Sadly, our family left disappointed, upset, and without confidence in returning.
