I'm visiting the area. Stopped for lunch. Slice of pizza was delicious. Thin crust, fresh, brick oven, large slice. I got the Pasta Fagioli soup. This was just ok. It was basic beans and pasta in broth. Not sure I've had this with red beans before but it was good. Broth wasn't very flavorful but on a cold day, with some seasoning, I enjoyed it. I have ordered the Cape Codder pizza numerous times and it's usually absolutely delicious. This last time I ordered the pizza was not what I expected. It lacked any flavor, shrimp were small and few of them and I don't think there were any clams. Maybe it was an off night. read more

Got the large hurricane bob scallop pizza. I thought it was good, but wasn't a fan of the balsamic vinaigrette on it though. Also got the chicken parmigiana, I liked it a lot. We are in town for a one night stay and after a lackluster impression from our hotel/motel, we were pleased to get a great pizza from Palio. We're staying on Main Street so I was able to place the order online, walk down, pick it up, and walk it back to our hotel. We got a plain cheese with olives, and the house salad. The pizza is more of a thin crust New York-ish style, and it just hit all the right notes for us tonight. Although I didn't dine in, I appreciated that the decor and ambience of the place is a bit of a step up from a typical pizza counter. There is a large dine-in area with more of a casual Italian eatery type vibe. There may have been vinyl checkerboard tablecloths, I can't remember, but it felt "NICER" than a typical pickup-only pizza place. On another visit I would give dine-in a try and expect it would be a good experience. read more

Stopped to get a large cheese pizza to go on our way home from the Cape. We were blown away with how delicious this pizza was! We walked in to order and it was ready in about 15 min. Worst pizza I ever had. Less than mediocre pizza at gourmet prices. It was very chewy, tasted bland and had polymerised cheese. I ordered a broccoli rabe and a margherita pizza. To take off the sausage and add fresh jalapeño they charged us $5 extra. I asked the person at counter to verify they had fresh jalapeño and they will top my pizza with fresh jalapeño and not pickled jalapeño. He confirmed that. Later to our surprise pizza came covered in pickled jalapeño. Is tha some kind of joke? Disgusting! The Margherita pizza tasted and smelled bland although it was topped with tomato and basil. By the time we took those pizza outside the restaurant, the cheese on both pizza got solidify and became plasticy, which in my opinion calls out bad and not so okay pizza. Similarly the pizza base got chewy to the point it needed to be pulled off to break off the bite. I think those deficiencies were critical mistake at pizza making 101 level. In and all, I would not visit this restaurant again to eat pizza. read more

A regular pizza stop for us in Hyannis. Our family has been visiting this restaurant since it opened. The mushroom pizza is my wife's favorite; my son loves the cheese pizza. You can buy pizza by the slice. The also have wine. Take out is also available. There is indoor and outdoor setting. The latter is next to the street loading point for the "Duck Tours." The location is ideal and right on the main thoroughfare in Hyannis. One has a good view from the outdoor deck. Indoors is well maintained with clean restrooms. Tables are pub like and there are televisions that often have sports programming. The staff works hard and tables are attended to diligently. Pizza is delivered to your table, and staff attends the outdoor tables also. There is additional parking in the lot directly behind by the Charter School or in the back public lot next to the Red Cross Office. An ideal stop for pizza in Hyannis! read more

We spend a week close to this place once a year and I have to say their pizza is very good. I usually get the pizza and the appetizer of fresh mozzarella, red fried peppers, greek olives, provolone cheese, Prosciutto, salami and cucumbers.Their meat balls are also amazing which are 3 big ones with a lot of sauce and cheese. I have eaten here 5 times and never disappointed. The staff are friendly and they also have wine and beers. There is a bowling alley/game room right next door. Went with a group of 4. Started with a Caesar salad and got the Quattro Funghi and the White Veggie. Caesar dressing was inedible and croutons overly salty. Not good at all. The Quattro was good, though maybe a bit undercooked. Not a fan of the crust, lacking flavor. The white pizza was very bland. Not sure three was a white sauce or just no sauce. Thoroughly displeased with this pizza. The slices are large, but floppy and remind me of a standard takeout place where you'd spend much less in the city.
