We saw a couple videos on tiktok and decided to give this place a try as many people liked their xiao long baos. The xiao long baos were extremely flavorful and juicy, but unfortunately the wrapping was a bit too thick. The juicy pork buns were disappointing, but the beef scallion pancakes were nice and crispy. Our favorite dish was the spicy chili wontons. The wonton filling was absolutely delicious and the chili seasoning was the right balance between slightly vinegary and salty. The staff was kind and accommodating as they consistently made rounds. The restaurant was bright and clean as we came in when they first opened. By the time we left about 45 minutes later, there was a waiting line... hand made dumplings made fresh and in front of you (if you go up to the window) by two ladies that you can tell are very skilled in their Dumpling wrapper rolling and pinching... Visited on a Thursday and despite being very busy the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious. I tried the beef chow mein, mongolian beef and xiao long bao. The beef was extremely tender the noodles were soft and the xiao long bao were perfectly soupy! I definitely recommend dining here. What can I say about this place that hasn't been said yet. It's so good. Best Dumplings in Norco/corina area hands down. The handful noodles are delicious and tender. I take so many people here just for their birthdays because it never disappoints. We tried this place on a bustling Sunday night and they were jumping. I think we had a 25 min wait which wasn't terrible considering how many people were waiting. Once we actually got seated service was quick and our food came out fast. We ordered XLB, dry braised green beans, wontons in spicy sauce, chicken fried rice, and beef rolls. The star of the show was the fried rice. It was so good and I am such a fried rice snob that we usually never order it because it's never made right. Genuinely the best dumplings I have ever had. We love the soup dumplings and I always really enjoy the shrimp and pork dumplings in the spicy oil. You can watch the workers hand pulling the noodles which you can definitely taste in the quality when they reach your table. We have also gotten the fried rice which is very good. Haven't tried any of the chicken or beef dishes but I would assume they're excellent as well. Come for lunch if you can because the line can get very bad at certain times. read more

You will have to circle many times if you want a close spot or you can admit defeat and go park closer to Stater Brothers and walk over. We were given menus, plates, chopsticks, and cups upon seating. A young man came around and filled up our water glasses before we even ordered and then eventually left a pitcher of water at the table for us as well. We ordered: Hot green tea - This was a magical teapot, there were three of us, and I think we each drank 4 to 5 cups of tea from this thing - it never ended. Pork Belly Buns- 2 in an order. Very yummy with soft bun, slightly crispy pork belly, thin cut red onion, and a nice sauce. Bun size was 3-4 bites each. Beef fried rice: can't go wrong with fried rice , thin shaved beef bits in as well made for some good protein. Szechuan eggplant - soooo plentiful. I love eggplant and this hit the spot. I could have made a meal of it. Won ton in chili oil - had about 8 dumplings and some type of pork mixture inside? Delicious. My husband also ordered two portions of steamed with rice ($1 each!) to go with and he loved the chili oil sauce so much he wanted to dump what remained on the rice. I'm so glad that I was finally able to make it to this place . This place has been on my must try place for a few months now and now that the weather is getting cooler it seemed like the perfect place to go to . When we arrived we got seated pretty quickly . I got the Mongolian steak , the veggie eggrolls , the beef onion roll and the strawberry green ice tea . The food came out pretty quickly and they brought out one dish at a time . We arrived on a Friday night and this place was packed. We just waited for 15 min to get a seat. There were so many things we wanted to try. Definite order the beef roll and any of the dumplings. We also got the liang pi which is a traditional xian noodle dish that's perfect for a hot day. I don't think it's fair to compare to din tai fung, since this place is more of a neighborhood joint. However, everything came out super hot and super tasty. The portion sizes were also huge. The service was great. All of the staff were working hard to get food out. While in town, of course I peruse the food scene options. There really is less than a handful of highly rated and highly reviewed restaurants in the city. We opted for Pan Dumpling House to see what it was all about. Upon arriving on a Friday evening during the height of the dinner crowd, we immediately felt like we made a good choice given the crowdstounding outside waiting for a seat. To get in line, you need to place your name and party size on a piece of paper near the entrance. There is no space to wait inside, so everyone resorts to standing right outside. Expect about a 30-minute wait or so as service is rather swift and diners get in and out. Service is very casual. Once a staff member comes outside and yells out your name, they instruct you to your assigned table, not necessarily escorting you directly. A staff member will soon bring by menus, water, and utensils not long after you see yourself. The menu is rather simple consisting of appetizers, dumplings, and other hot dishes. Since the staff roam around servicing the entire restaurant, you are not necessarily served by one person. Order was also soon taken and food arrived one by one not necessarily all together. So pace yourself so that you get to sample everything that you ordered. We ordered the Xiao Long Bao, which was pretty good, however, the outer wrap could have been thinner like some of them more traditional dumpling restaurants. We also ordered the stir fried green beans which were well prepared and garlic and oil. The honey walnut shrimp was a rather large portion, decent, but not necessarily the very best that I've had and very authentic Chinese restaurants. Lastly, out of curiosity, we ordered the Chinese Burger which is really some sort of shredded pork sandwich between two flat doughy bread-like patties. Beef roll was good, as well as the wide hand noodle, but what really stood out was the xiao long bao. Some of the best I've had from any place (yes, even when compared to Din Tai Fung). Let me start off by saying we came at 6PM ... Right at dinner peak began. Overall 3-3.5. Service 3 Food 3 Ambience 4 Parking was a lil crazy, since it is located in a crowded shopping plaza. We noticed that the restaurant was already packed as we walked in to add our name to the waiting list. We lucked out and was seated within minutes. There was already a line forming behind us. They greeted us right away with water, but it took at least 15 mins to waive someone down to place our order. Let's start with the food: We ordered several plates. 2 Xiao long bao: 4 stars. Definitely juicy and has a nice light taste to it. The bao was a great texture. Wish the filling had a stronger flavor. 1 Beef scallion pancakes: 4 stars. This was my fave dish. Light, flake and very flavorful compared to the other dishes. 1 Kung Pao chicken: 3 stars. Very very bland. Literally tasted like chicken coated with soy sauce and sugar. No spice or other flavoring at all. 1 Sesame ball: 3 stars. The outside was thicker than usual and hard to bite through. 1 Calamari: 3 fried on batter. We had to add seasoning. Squid meat was very thin. 1 Wonton noodle soup: 2 stars. The noodles were overcooked. Wontons were yummy and flavorful. Great size! The broth was EXTREMELY watered down. 1 banana smoothie and 2 strawberry smoothies. 2 stars. Ambience 4 Nice, airy and bright. Even though they were busy, we didn't feel squished together. We were still able to hold conversations. We sat in a corner table right in front of the kitchen entrance. Maybe a drape or cover for that area would be a bonus. Service 3-3.5 Taking in the factor they were busy. The reason why I didn't give them a higher rating is due to the following: We had to waive down people on several occasions just to put in an order. A few of the younger team members ignored us, even though I thought they heard and saw us. They had a strawberry shake and banana shake on the menu. We asked if it was possible to get a combo strawberry/banana smoothie he said no. I offered to buy one of each and asked if they can just combine them for us. He said no. We can combine it ourselves. When they did arrive, I had to ask for an additional cup so we can combine it. They brought us small water cups. I felt like I was mixing and pouring experiments... Trying not to spill. The drinks ended up being less fruit and more sugar and ice. We took them home and blended them tigeyadding more bananas and strawberries ourselves.
