    Walnut bread
    Megana V.

Found them at the farmers market and decided to give them a try after a friend highly recommended it! Could not be more pleased!! Tried out their walnut bread and it was delicious! Walnut bread: it was slightly sour like a sour dough and the whole wheat + toasty nuttiness of the walnuts complemented the sourness so well!! The bread was super soft and fresh when we got it and kept really well/tasted fresh for several days after (probably would've lasted longer but it was too delicious and we ate it up so fast!!!). A perfect hearty bread for all your avocado egg toasts, nut butter banana toasts, or just plain in its own! Do yourself a favor and support this amazing local bakery!! You won't be disappointed!!!

Incredible assortment of exquisite baked goods weekly at the Alemany Saturday Farmers Market

This bakery is absolutely divine. They sell an incredible assortment of exquisitely delicious baked goods weekly at the Alemany Saturday Farmers Market. Get there early before they sell out! My absolute favorite are their cinnamon twists, a splendid creation of decadent, flaky dough, twisted and drenched in just the right amount of cinnamon, sugar and topped with a sprinkle of powder sugar! These are baked to perfection and out of this world, heavenly! I also love the breakfast sausage empeñadas and the cheese bread! The staff are wonderfully friendly and super helpful and beyond graceful!

This place just showed up at the Foster City Farmers market and I'm thrilled. Everything is incredible, especially the pastries. My new obsession! Try the Kouign Amann, it's completely addicting! I am trying a new, different pastry every week, and I have a new favorite every week! :)

    Brioche Tart

I made it to the Downtown Palo Alto Farmers' Market just in time right before they started closing up for the day at around noon. I rushed around to see if any stalls had baked goods left that I could buy to eat for lunch when I spotted Panorama Baking. I was eyeing a little placard that said Banana Bread Pudding but was so worried there were none left. The worker helping me was very nice and kindly told me they still had one so I excitedly got that, as well the Brioche Tart which he suggested when I asked for a recommendation. I devoured both of the pastries immediately after purchasing because I couldn't wait and they were too good to resist! Food: - Banana Bread Pudding--$3 After the first bite, I was in heaven. The bread pudding was so decadent, custardy, creamy, and rich and oh so delicious with the subtle sweetness of banana shining through. The crackly, crunchy crust on top was flaky and buttery and croissant-like, and this texture complemented the luscious layers of the bread pudding wonderfully. It was also the perfect amount of sweetness. I would come back just for the bread pudding. - Brioche Tart--$3 The many toppings on top of the brioche tart made the subtly sweet and mellow buttery brioche pop with flavor. Toppings included almond cream, peach, pear, raspberry jam, and apricot jam. The almond cream was smooth and creamy, and the jams were as well. I liked the pieces of peach and pear which added a refreshing element to the pastry. Tips: - Check out their website to find the many farmers' markets, restaurants, and cafes at which you can find their bread and pastries!

Big big line that moves fast: Outstanding breads, pastries & the best sourdough English muffins!

#10/2016 I discovered PANoRAMA bakery at the Alemany Farmers' Market (Saturdays 6:30am-2:30pm) and having stopped in late at 12:45, there wasn't much selection left except for these fluffy sourdough English muffins, a loaf or two of whole wheat bread and a few bagels. Well, the English muffins were so mind-blowing that I made a point to show up a lot earlier today. Not just for making an incredible egg sandwich, one of the owners at Panorama said he scoops out some of the fluffy bread to make it into a bread bowl for clam chowder (drool!) Plain and almond croissants, blueberry and cheese Danish, bagels, focaccia, baguettes, cinnamon twists, ciabatta and so much more- a tremendous selection of baked goods with a line of loyalists queued up to get the goods. Three people working inside the tent made the line move swiftly. Originally starting in the early 1990s as suppliers for Real Restaurant group (the wonderful Tra Vigne in Napa, Buckeye Roadhouse, Fog City Diner, etc), PANoRAMA now caters to consumers as well and you can find them at Farmers' markets all around the Bay Area and at the Alemany flea market on Sundays. Cash *only*.

I tried the regular croissant, the almond croissant, and the kouign-amann. My favorite was 100% the almond croissant. All were amazing but the flavors and textures were truly exceptional. While I was visiting friends in the Inner Richmond, we were tempted by the aroma of butter and decided to brave the line to try one of these legendary pastries. While the line stretched halfway down the block, it moved quickly, and we only waited in line for about 15 minutes. The ordering process was efficient, and we were able to pick up our pastries in a couple of minutes once we were at the front of the line. The menu is short and simple, and I decided to try the almond croissant, one of the classics. I enjoyed my croissant when I got home, and immediately noticed how decadent and heavy the pastry was (I recommend splitting it). The outside was very toasted - almost bitter - and the inside of the pastry tasted slightly underbaked. On a more positive note, I appreciated how the almond filling tasted purely of freshly-ground almonds; simple and naturally sweet without the overpowering almond-extract flavor. While this first experience did not quite live up to my expectations, I would still come back to try the other pastries.

It ended up taking us over two hours to get our pastries, and by the time we reached the front, some items had already sold out. This time, we decided to arrive right when the line opened at 7:45am on a Friday. Personally, I'd rather get there early, wait a little over an hour, and have the first pick of pastries than arrive later, wait even longer, and risk missing out on items. We were the third party in line and placed our order around 9:05am. By 9:15am, we had our pastries and drinks. After our first visit, I wasn't completely convinced the wait was worth it. The pastries were good, but the long line and wait time didn't feel justified. This visit, however, may have changed my mind. We ordered: * Madame Lorraine * Chorizo & Tot Croquiche * Morty P * Strawberry Vanilla Bean Bun * Pistachio Cardamom Sugar Croissant * Rocky Road Double Chocolate Cookie * Classic Croissant We also got two drinks: the S'mores Mocha and the Cherry Vanilla Almond Cappuccino. Don't skip their drinks, their specialty coffees are just as creative as their pastries. I really appreciate their rotating menu. Their pastries are always so creative, and I love that they experiment with unique flavor combinations that you don't typically see at a bakery. Some items are definitely more memorable than others, but I enjoy that there's always something new to try. Their pastries are well executed. The croissants are flaky and buttery. This visit, my personal favorite was the Chorizo & Tot Croquiche. Overall, this visit was a much better experience than my first. If you're willing to wait in line, I think it's worth checking out. Otherwise, you can always try your luck with their Hotplate presale.

It was absolutely heavenly. The standout was the bolo bun with guava butter. Imagine guava jam and butter had a delicious baby and being tucked inside a warm, soft pineapple bun and that's exactly what it tasted like. We also tried the classic butter bun, which was excellent, but the guava version was the winner for us. For something savory, we ordered the salted egg yolk and BBQ pork bun, and it was delicious. The combination of sweet, salty, and savory flavors worked really well together. We also tried the pandan bun, which was fine, but it didn't quite stand out compared to the other flavors. I wish we had time to come back and sample more of the menu. I had my eye on the matcha and red bean varieties and would have loved to try them. I also ordered a Hong Kong milk tea and it was rich and strong. They even serve it with a mini warm bolo bun on top of the cup, which is both adorable and delicious. Pineapple King is the kind of place I would happily travel back to San Francisco for. Now if they could just open a location in LA my life would be complete!

I've always wanted to try this place since I see a line every time I walked by. There's a lot of foot and car traffic. It's definitely a busy area so expect to park in one of the nearby residential areas or be extremely and walk/bike/bus here! Upon stepping into the tiny shop, I was enveloped in the sweet smell of chocolate chip cookies. It was tempting to put that in my bag, but I stuck with my game plan. They do self serve for all the baked goods and drinks except the pizza and focaccia. You tell the cashier what you grabbed. There's self serve complimentary water on the side too. Got a pecan swirl, one of each square focaccia flavors, and a half pizza (hot). The pizza flavor of the day was triple mushroom with sesame ginger garlic vinaigrette and mozzarella. It was 10/10 delicious!! Do note that they don't heat up the focaccia. Personally, after tasting everything, I'd say the pizza is more worth it than the focaccia "pizzas". The pecan roll was quite addicting too. You can also skip the line if you want to order online on their website and schedule a pick up time, but my gift card didn't work so I just waited in line.
