I was reluctant with the reviews on here, but I took a dive and was thoroughly pleased. Interior was very cute, cozy, and clean. The servers were all very friendly to me. The menu was just about your standard breakfast spot. I ordered the weekly special (pictured below) and ordered home fries on the side. The namesake menu item (pancakes) were fluffy and delicious. I usually hate overly sweet batter and this had the right amount. The pancakes almost reminded me of those Japanese-style pancakes that are super fluffy and big. read more

Located near the Bank of America. Warning: parking lot is a bit small This is a nice hole in the wall, don't expect too much. Good place to grab a quick breakfast. They do offer lunch items as well such as sandwiches and soups. The breakfast is priced about $4-9 depending what you would like. Lunch is like $8-9. read more

The food is decent, its not my first choice but i would not not come here. When we came in there was a bit of a wait and after a while they started to get some complaints and you can hear everything, the person who I assume is the manager because she was the one handling the situation didn't really handle it well she had an attitude. While we were still eating we didn't know the place closes at 2o'clock it was around 130 to 145 when it was starting to die down and the servers were just sitting on the side and on the host station complaining about customers, I get wanting to vent but honestly that shouldn't have been done out in the open where all customers can hear, this is something you guys can do behind closed doors on your own time not while the business is still going, it's very tacky and looks bad on their part. Wait until all customers are gone to complain it just looks very bad and honestly gave me such a bad vibe from this restaurant and I really don't want to come back anymore. Our server was decent she wasn't the friendliest but she wasn't mean either she was just there the thing is I get people are tired but I don't want to be served by somebody who doesn't want to be there or doesn't have a good positive attitude. The breakfast here was very very good & considering the price of dining out today; quite budget friendly. The most notable attribute of this restaurant however is the service. My waitress, a young Latina with glasses, provided the best service I've received anywhere since COvID. She was polite, friendly , attentive and very professional. This kind of good service has become almost extinct in any type of retail or food service establishment in the past couple of years. It was so nice an experience to have a server who wasn't surly & acting as if the taking care of the customer was an interruption from texting on her cell phone! This restaurant is one of Lawrenceville's best kept secrets! We found it by accident, but wow what a nice treasure!! The food is excellent, but the staff professionalism and enthusiasm for service takes the experience to level hard to find in even the finest restaurants. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and appropriately appointed to provide a great experience. Do I recommend this place?? Absolutely!! And I vote by coming as often as I'm in the area. We thought a Waffle House was nearby and after not finding it we decided to try Pancake House. This restaurant had dirty floors and the food was not good. The waffle was soggy and the syrup tasted bad. My 4 year old daughter said after one or two bites that her tummy hurt. Later in the day I stopped at Jersey Mike's in Buford and she barfed on the floor. So I will not be returning to or not recommending Pancake House. The waiter was a nice guy I thought but he could have reduced my bill a little seeing that we hadn't eaten the waffle. read more

First visit a week ago. I was surprised the wait was not long and the breakfast was well prepared and the staff was great.

I came with a group of about 20 people, and they easily accommodated us in our own little section. Service was mediocre. Women's bathroom smelled terrible!! Restaurant wasn't all that clean, I saw an ant crawling on the floor.. Food : Not terrible, definitely not good . Pancakes , which they're supposed to specialize in, were dry and thick. I-hoppish.. I have never been to this restaurant - we always order through Uber Eats. I wanted to write a review anyways because the food is excellent!! They have shrimp a grits! The grits are creamy, pancakes are fluffy, toppings are plentiful and portions are perfect. Great prices for the quality of food. The service was pretty okay for a Sunday. We were very understanding. For less than $40 we purchased 2 sides of eggs with cheese, a short stack, a cheesecake short stack, drinks, and shrimp n' grits. Overall the food was okay. The pancakes were about a 3.75/5 bc there wasn't anything special about the taste. I enjoyed the shrimp n' grits because of the onions and tomato sauce. First time here and I'm super impressed. I didn't get the guy servers name but he was super tall. He was one of the best servers I have ever had. Nice, attentive, understood we were in a hurry. He had lots of other tables and was crazy busy and did such a good job! I live 30 min away but I will drive back just to sit in his section. Also the food was on point! This is the worst customer service experience we have ever encountered. We placed an order through Uber eats, the receipt clearly stated was was ordered and the restaurant forgot half our order. When contacted, we were put on the phone with 3 women who spoke a lick of English,yelling that we needed to call Uber and not them and that "they haven't even been paid yet". Uber did their service in delivering my food, your restaurant forgot half my order. I speak Spanish myself and when I started telling one of the women I'm from Maryland so a store credit doesn't do me any good she acted like she didn't understand but whispered to the other woman what I had just said. Although, when it came time to pay I was told I could only use $10 of my $25 gift card at a time, due to restaurant policy stated by Sally the manager. She stated, "If she honored the full amount of my gift card the restaurant would not make money" I will be discarding the remaining $15 in the trash, rather than return to this restaurant. read more

Th absolute most horrible place to order takeout! I placed my order 10 minutes before I got there and waited well over 20 minutes when I arrived. People came in and were seated and got the food and was almost done eating before I received my to do order. I stood at the counter after waiting 25 minute. Terrible experience at pancake house. Sat down at 1:10pm ordered kids food. The server must have been in a rush because she hounded us order the adult meals every 30 seconds. Five to six times this server kept coming back in a 10 minute time frame. After the sixth time, we decided to get the check and leave. Our server apologized and said the kitchen was closing at 1:20! Shocked, we apologized and asked what time did they close, she said 2:00...I will take my business to IHOP down the road and spend the little bit extra for the comfort. read more

Took several minutes before a waitress came to get our drink order. The restaurant wasn't busy. When our order was taken, it took over 35 minutes to receive our food after having to ask the hostess were the food was. The waitress never came to update us. The food was mediocre at best. We made sure to ask for the bill and to go boxes when she brought our food so we wouldn't have to wait any longer. Then, there were what appeared to be the hostess' family and 2 young children running and squealing through the restaurant. Only plus is that they voluntarily discounted the meal. read more
