The food was all right but then when you order from the app it gives you a time and I had to wait 20 minutes after the time given they said ready at 12:05 which I know is a busy time but I had to wait 15 minutes outside just to get my food and by then it was all cold. They only let in five people at a time so if there's more than five you have to wait outside in the sun and there's no shade at all read more

This was my first time at this Panda Express location. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at the drive-thru. I was able to order and pay fairly quickly. Pros: (1) - No line at the drive-thru (2) - Brand new location - modern decor and clean (3) - Friendly staffs (4) - Food was fresh (5) - This location serves milk tea + Boba! Cons: (1) - Limited selection of food items. (2) - Smaller portions than other locations (3) - They only you sauce for their Mandarin Chicken if you ask for it. The quality of the food at this restaurant is of low quality. The Orange Chicken I ordered was 90% crust with a sweet orange glaze. Of the three pieces I tasted first there was no chicken to be found! Spoke to John the manager and complained, he told me that the chicken is brought in and that they only heated up and serve to the customers. I suggested that he change the distributer and hire a better company to buy so the customers get the food worth their money!$$ I will not be buying anything g from these guys ever again. Service is okay at times, but I just went through the drive through to get 2 drinks from the tea bar. I wanted one thai tea with boba, 50% sugar, less ice. One green milk tea with boba, no sugar, less ice. I had to remind her the milk tea was a green tea base. The lady "julissa e." (According to receipt) rang it up as both no ice, no sugar in milk tea, and no sugar adjustment in the thai tea. The green milk tea obviously had no ice, I mentioned it to her and she just said "There's ice in there." I also came home drank my thai tea and there was NO sugar in there. I clearly stated HALF sugar. Even if they're busy they shouldn't get my order wrong and jumbled up just because they can't read! Ugh thanks for the sugarless drink what do I do with this. UPDATE: Panda Express has reached out to me to let me know that they have forwarded my feedback to the team. Great job Panda ! This newer location not only serves up your classic favorites,like orange chicken and beef and broccoli, they also have their newest creations to indulge. Even better this location as a boba tea bar which has us returning to again and again. This one is located in Hacienda Heights where yes there are many Asian restaurants but it's hard to find a great Americanized one like Panda. Panda is very welcoming to those who prefer Chipotle over Tacos Mexico. It's not completely authentic but it's definitely good. The atmosphere is clean and the service is welcoming. Having a drive there is definitely a plus, which is rare. Thanks Panda for coming into the Heights for our "Chinese" food enjoyment. read more

Awesome, Energetic, one stop shop for a Panda Express near me. I came with my mom and my daughter. Love the vibe. Good food as always. My daughter love the multi-flavor Pepsi machine, my mom has the milk tea, btw, way better than those watered down kiosk, and I had my new favorite drink the sparkling ginger lemonade. Friendly staffs that greet you when you walk in, yes it seemed like everyone said hello, like a cheesy ramen place, I love it. Got to try the green sauce and the pickle cucumbers, I struck with my few routine of the angus beef, chicken mushrooms and the best chicken egg rolls in town. My daughter love the orange chicken wrap. The tea bar is great on its own. Highly recommend. Update: 11/29/17 Brought the family here for a meal, tried the new sparkling strawberry yogurt, omg. It's awesome. I also like the soda machine where I can select the flavor combinations, it's great not as good as coke machine but hey this is Pepsi Staffs are as friendly as ever, hot food and tasty. I would have rated this place 5 stars if it weren't for a super rude young female staff here. For multiple times at the drive through, the staff did not give me my receipt, any napkins, and not even utensils... How am I supposed to eat from a drive through without any utensils?? Love this location the most because it is their test kitchen! The place is new, modern, and always clean. At this location they offer the Tea Bar and the Bing wrap where you can't find at any other Panda Express locations. Ive been going here for about a year now and get the Bing wrap every time. It starts off with a scallion tortilla, base, entree, and toppings of your chpice. If you don't want that many carbs do half salad. The staff here is also very nice and will allow you to get as many toppings as you want. Tip: keep your receipt so you can fill out a two minute survey online to get a free entree your next visit! read more

I haven't been to a Panda Express in a long time, but this location was very pleasant! It was new, clean, and all the staff were very friendly. I was surprised to see they had super greens (sautéed veggies in garlic) and quinoa fried rice as a part of their sides in addition to their usual fried rice and chow mein. I got the beijing beef and mushroom chicken with my super greens/quinoa friend rice side. I normally don't finish Panda Express plates because I end up feeling really gross after eating too much greasy food, but I finished the whole plate and didn't feel that way at all. I think the amount of veggies I had with my meal was a good balance. I didn't get to try their drinks, but they were also selling milk teas and other drink options I haven't seen before at a Panda Express! read more

At first sight, I assumed it was an ingredient in the orange chicken but I pulled it out to be sure and it was a lot longer than the other strands and it was black. Definitely a hair. It's rare that i go to Panda and there is only two reasons why. Nothing to do with there food, it's good but mostly about there prices a d servings. They are the WORST when it comes to portions. Today, after months of not having Panda Express i decided to go. Got a bowl and some veggie spring rolls. I got 6 pieces! Of the almond chicken. 6pieces! Really! I mean come on! I am sorry but when you have a group of 30+ people you all get in line together. The stragglers can pay separately. Secondly I ordered a plate, and asked if two of the items could not be touching. The girl talking the order was very accommodating and offered to put it in a separate container. When I get to the register they kept insisting that they have to charge the separate container as a bowl. This is probably my favorite Panda location of all time. The decor is modern and nicer than all the other Panda locations. They also have great sauces that other locations don't have, such sambal, scallion ginger sauce, etc. I think the final edge is that their customer service is great, they are friendly from start to finish. I usually get the bowl here since that's enough food for me. My coworkers have also tried the burrito option they offer here. They also have a tea bar inside and a drive-thru for those that are lazy to get out of their cars! I think I've been here more times that I should, but the food is good so why not? read more

Today, I was across the street at 85' C - grubbing in some serious fresh baked pastries and realized I need to eat something w protein. I ordered the BIGGER PLATE - 2 Sides / 3 Entrees. Quinoa Brown Fried Rice was very good - but could've used a little more soy sauce during the stir fry stage. Some garlic too. The Super Greens (Stir Fry Veggies) was okay. Nothing to wrote home about. The Walnut Shrimp seemed to have a thick coating / breading on it. Good but no WOW! The Kung Pao Chicken - was spicy and very tasty. The Spicy Eggplant needed a little more personality. I LOVE EGGPLANT and it left me a little meh. I finished the dish w some toppings - Fried Shallots which were tasty. And very necessary. The Pickled Cucumbers were not something I recommend. NOT COMPLIMENTARY at all. Kinda...yucky! Tasted old. The employees were super helpful. There was No TIP JAR - which was uncool. Undeniably 5 stars for their drive thru because this plaza is a nightmare when it comes to parking. But also because I do love Panda Express and Panda Inn Restaurants. Call me bias but whatever. This use to be a taco bell. And when the sign went up that a Panda Express was going to replace it, I was elated. Finally something American in that plaza besides El Pollo Loco!!! Even if it's Chinese-American, I ll take it!!! I was even more pleased when they did lots of construction inside and out making it look very modern. They even added some kind of tea bar... I'm not all that excited about another tea bar in my hood since every corner seems to have a friggin tea bar. Glad to report the flavor of Panda Express is still the same. Yey! It's not in the name on Yelp, but this is actually a Panda Express Innovation Kitchen - I believe only the 2nd of its kind. Make no mistake, this is still a Panda Express at heart, but the upgrades they've made all enhance the experience in small ways. You can order a salad, a bowl, a plate, or a "Bing" (a scallion pancake burrito whose name likely comes from the Run Bung wraps served in the streets of Taiwan. I opted for a bowl with brown rice and veggies as a base, and got the Asian grilled chicken on top. All of this is available at a regular Panda, but I was also able to top it with pickled cucumbers, papaya slaw, crispy shallots, and red chili sambal and scallion ginger sauces. While the quality of the chicken wasn't great (as is typical of Panda) and the scallion ginger sauce was a bit bitter, the sambal sauce had a pleasant heat, and the cucumbers and papaya brought a nice level of acidity that made the plate more dynamic. These upgrades definitely made it a step above your average panda meal, even though it's not drastically different enough to motivate me to come all the time. read more

This looks like a newly renovated Panda Express. The store is big and fairly clean. The set up is like a Chipotle restaurant. I came here specifically because they have the green onion pancake burrito lol. I love green onion pancakes! Even though Panda's green onion pancake isn't the best I've ever had, but I'd order it again. The burrito isn't bad. The key for me is to add the wonton chips and lettuce to make it crunchy! If you like Panda (I really do enjoy the occasional Americanized fake Chinese food tbh), I think you'd enjoy the Panda Tea Bar. I'll come back and see if their teas are good or not! read more

I visit this location often and the last couple of times have been a bit disappointing. They are getting very skimpy with their portions. I only had two bites of Chow mein and I ordered the Shanghai Angus steak( which costs a $1.25 extra) and it only had three very small pieces of steak, it was mostly vegetables and to top it off they forget the soy sauce! Hands down, the nicest Panda Express I've ever been to! It's a test concept kitchen, so they offer more variety than the standard locations, including things like an orange chicken salad or orange chicken wrap (also known as a bing). They also have a tea bar with boba, lemonade, and other interesting drinks. Plus, they have a drive-thru feature, which is pretty cool! Although they have some unique concepts, I personally stuck to their chow mein noodles, honey sesame chicken, and orange chicken. For some odd reason, they tasted better here than at other Panda locations. I think maybe they try harder here?! The prices are the same, but the interior is also much cleaner and more modern. I'm guessing a lot of it has to do with the area, considering they're trying to compete with so many surrounding authentic Chinese restaurants. I like coming to this Panda Express for the burrito. Sometimes they run out, understandable. So I always give a quick courteous call to ask if they will be serving it the day I want to go so I don't waste anyones time. Unfortunately on several occasions I've had the Panda Express lie and say that they don't have it or are not serving it. One lady told me they haven't served it in 2 years even though I got it last month. I know working at panda must be annoying but there's really no need to be dishonest.
