This is my second time eating here and I was not as impressed as the other time. A few things…read morewouldn't allow me to give 5 . First, my General So Chicken was fried to hard. I had time chew the chicken, the spring roll had a unpleasant unfamiliar taste( could have been the oil). The pork lo mein was pretty good and the fried dumplings were just okay. Again, I was so surprised because the first time everything was perfect. I will give them another try. The service was friendly as always and the ambiance is a basic Chinese restaurant with a few chairs

Whenever I'm in Charlotte and in the mood for Chinese food, one of the first places I ask my sister…read moreto take me is Jin Jin's. It's a little drive from where she stays--not too far, but absolutely worth it. The food is always fresh and consistently delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming every time we visit. I normally go for my usual favorites: shrimp fried rice, wings, and an egg roll. My sister likes to get the egg drop soup, and my mom usually enjoys the shrimp fried rice as well. There's something comforting about the combination of flavors and the warm, inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this spot because you truly will not be disappointed. It's the kind of place where every visit feels like a little treat, and the food always leaves you satisfied and coming back for more.

Tried this place for the first time last week and it was better than expected…read more Everything was great. Veggies and spinach bun was a shareable appetizer of 2 buns. Kind of reminded me of the texture of spanakopita in a bun. They were generously filled and delicious. Yangzhou fried rice had a mix of scallops, shrimp, chicken and veggies. Portion was huge, husband could barely finish it. I ordered spicy wonton in chili oil, and mini spare ribs in black bean sauce dim sum. Loved them both. Seasonings and spice level were perfect. I'd order those again. We also got a selection of dumplings - pork and veggie shumai, steamed potstickers, and crystal shrimp dumplings. Loved all of them. I love the relaxed vibe here. Our server was attentive, professional and gave us space to enjoy our meal with minimum interruptions. We were greeted when we arrived and she waved goodbye when we left. While dining, I saw quite a number of takeout orders picked up by customers and dashers, which is something we'll definitely do in the future. The dining area and bar are in one big room with huge windows that make the space feel spacious and light. Even tho it's one big room, tables aren't crammed together. Music is low enough to talk at normal volume. We really enjoyed our first time here, plan to eat here again and highly recommend it if you haven't been.

I especially loved the beef steak -- it was juicy, tender, and seasoned really well. The combination of the steak with the fried rice was amazing. The pastries that came with the meal were also a wonderful surprise: warm, soft, and very tasty. Everything was served beautifully, and the portion size was generous. The atmosphere and service made the experience even better. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal!

I hadn't eaten here for about a decade but I was in the area so gave it a shot…read more At first, I wasn't going to give it a shot because there is a beat-up printer paper on the door--usually not a good sign. I went back to my car and looked up reviews before driving away. Most of the reviews were good. At that moment, I made a decision: "We're going in!" Even though 'we' is just me. Don't judge; I'm sure you do the same from time to time: consciously or subconsciously. I ordered a Quart of Wonton Soup (very exciting) and Roast Pork Lo Mein (pretty cool). The wait was 10-15 minutes and I paid ahead of time. It was $16 and change but the woman behind the counter stared with great anticipation if i would leave a tip. If I could go back, I wouldn't. For what? They're already marking up prices and this part was strange. Not a fan. Fortunately, the food was good. There were only five wontons (quart usually has 6-8) but it was very good!) The Roast Pork Lo Mein was also strong. It actually had too much Roast Pork for me. At this location, I might just get Chicken Lo Mein next time. But I have been seeing more TikToks with chickens on farms and they're pretty chill so maybe just Lo Mein. I would eat from here again. Hope that helped!
