I havent had take out in 2 weeks, but had the longest day and didn't want to cook. I was so nervous about where to order from. My daughter won the coin toss and Panda Express was the winner. It was really clean! The staff was great and took social distancing seriously. They had chairs lined up around the ordering glass so you couldn't get close. Anyone that walked in was immediately told to stand at a different waiting station (tables far away from each other). I felt safe. They are dealing with the crisis responsibly. I get it... Panda is not like going to China for authentic food. And I also realize there is a pandemic going on. But boy, this was not good. I used the app and it said I'd have to wait 40 minutes for the food. At a Chinese place, that's usually a good thing. It means they don't have food just marinating forever under heat lamps and it's going to be made fresh. However, I am pretty sure I could've picked up my food four hours prior. It was lukewarm at best. I am not sure exactly what they did to take all the flavor out of fried rice, but they were successful! The food is oily, but its filling. The over priced tea drinks sucked, they were watered down, guess no one makes more tea in the evening. I got my food to go, so did not know how the tea was, until I got home. My review of the reviews. All the haters are going to complain about the customer service and the quality of food. You need to remember, for many of the people working here, this is either their first job, or their job while they go to school for something else. Also, the food sits in a tray all day, so its on the level of a buffet. Eat it if you are either in a hurry or on a road trip, but if you are taking the family out I suggest something like Elite Buffet, Sunrise buffet or heck, just a regular sit down restaraunt. edit: I want to thank Panda Express, because looks like one of their staff made the effort to reach out and try to make things right. I came to Panda Express hungry! I didn't eat breakfast at my normal early time and ate late at around 10 am or so. I did a lot of walking and felt hungry and thirsty. I ordered half and half, noodles and fried rice with one entree, mushroom chicken. I got plenty of noodles but not much fried rice. My daughter and I ended up sharing. I also got a large lemonade. The large was huge and I didn't need a refill. The noodles and rice were a little dry. I had to put soy sauce on it. They give you packets. The mushroom chicken was good but mushy. I ended up eating it first before taking a photo. Haha. I was hungry and when you're hungry, sometimes you don't think of taking a photo. I know we all do this sometimes. Seating was plentiful inside as there's a soda machine refill station. They had Pepsi products but I chose lemonade. I dislike Pepsi. The owners of this location who Asian and are very racist and biased. They rush you to place an order and then they give you skimpy entrées with a whole bunch of rice and noodles. We went in to get food to go. The restaurant was busy but that was not a problem. When we went to check out I had a panda club gift certificate and 2 gift cards to pay for our order. The cashier Han was exceptional she even suggested cream cheese wontons which I was going to order but forgot. After we were checked out a older asian female crew member (wearing red just like Han) says really loud "WHATS WRONG: because it took a little bit longer to check out and we did add something after we started checking out. I said nothing was wrong we just used gift cards to pay. This older women was very disrespectful and unprofessional and loudly says "YOU ARE IN VIOLATION" for using more than 1 gift card. I told this women that its not her fault we had one card with $2.35 and the other had $25.00 so we were using up the card. She again loudly says "SHE IN VIOLATION", and I am shocked that she says this in front of a store full of paying customers. I then told the older female I will be calling because this is ridiculous and she told me to "Go ahead and call". I have visited this location and others many times and I am appalled at the unprofessionalism of this older lady and essentially yelling this at the girl again with a full restaurant. There was an older asian male in the black shirt who I think was the manager and he witnessed this and did nothing about it. He let the older women embarrass Han. Han should not be written up because of this and the older women should be written up for her extreme rudeness to Han and customers for her lack of professionalism. The manager at this location is incredibly rude. Since she doesn't care how she speaks to customers, her rudeness is now rubbing off on the other employees! I came into pickup my online order. They really skimp on the sauces with the take out orders right now, so I asked when I was given my food, if I could get extra chill sauce and teriyaki sauce. I was told, "it's in there." I asked again because I knew how cheap they were being with the sauces in the midst of the "takeout only" rule. When I asked again for sauces I was asked, "did you even order teriyaki chicken?" Why does that even matter?! If a customer asks for sauces for their food, just give it to them. Finally, I was given one teriyaki sauce. When I got home, of course there was only one chili sauce in the bag. The gals working the front line were VERY accommodating. They even played around with my order, to get Family Meal pricing, saving me over $20. It took awhile to prepare my order, as expected, and I had no problem waiting. And during that time they kept checking in with me to let me know they were still working on my order. They even offered me a free drink a couple times during my wait. When they brought out my bagged order, I asked if I needed to check to make sure everything was there. They assured me it wasn't necessary. And sure enough, when I got home, my order was perfect. All my guests raved about how great the food was. Customer ahead of us were ignoring the gal serving the food, when she politely asked them what they'd like, they kept adding to their own convo ignoring her completely, ignoring her once more, then asking for a ton of different samples, of course had a complicated check out (dude its $8 and you want to have your girlfriend pay for the drinks? Get a job) all the while there is a line behind them. They complained about everything and it seemed almost like they were trying to mess her up intentionally to get something free. Then the gal after us is ignoring the girl serving as well and just on her phone!!
