Mission accomplished: we finally convinced the team that lunch doesn't always have to involve burgers every single day (because burgers 3 days in a row, we were 1 cheeseburger away from turning into cattle lol). We ended up at Panda Express on Lake Ave and I was shocked to see a new item, the Buldak Dynamite Sweet & Sour Chicken. First of all, Panda came in HOT because this thing actually has spice!! Second, they used white meat chicken, so it made me like it even more. Also grabbed the Mango Guava drink and that thing was refreshing enough to put out the fire after every bite!! We came during the lunch rush but the line moved fast like everyone was on a mission for orange chicken. Highly recommend the Buldak Dynamite Sweet & Sour Chicken if you want your Panda experience with a little spicy kick!!! read more

I'm a regular at this location. Their new Dynamite - Sweet & Sour Chicken is well worth the drive. Service is always great, the store is always pristine and they're in a prime location (right on Lake Av) which helps a lot with ambiance and traffic into this store in general. I think all Panda Express locations I've been to are amazing in their own right, but this one stands out in particular for its commitment to excellence. 10/10 read more

As a Coca Cola service technician, I arrived at your Panda Express and waited for a moment to speak with a MOD. I was approached by a crew member name Kimiko. She was very friendly, and attentively brought the MOD Frank over to speak with me. Some time later Kimiko checked back in with me to see if I needed any further assistance. I began to ask Kimiko if she was a supervisor or team lead. She replied no. I thanked her for taking ownership and acting like an owner! I told her how impressed I was and said she possessed true leadership skills. To top it off, a while later as I tried accessing entry into a locked kitchen door, Kimiko who was on a break, popped off her chair to punch in the door lock code to allow me entry. I used to like going to this location because it's one of two in my area that serves quinoa fried rice. I was excited to try the new bbq brisket and ordered it a la carte. I watched the lady put 5 of the smallest, thinnest pieces in the box . There were plenty of medium to larger pieces available. When i asked her about it, she said that's the way it is. I felt so jipped and she overall had a crappy attitude about it. It's advertised all over social media as some nice sized thick pieces. So what am i paying extra for - scraps!?? This is the only Panda Express in the area that carries the Quinoa fried rice. For those who haven't tried it, Pandas regular fried rice is mediocre but this one is surprisingly good for something that's "healthy". I hope they expand and carry the Quinoa fried rice at other locations. read more

I don't typically leave a review for a fast food restaurant chain, but this Panda Express is worth reviewing because it is arguably the best Panda Express I've known so far. The decorations and the interior are really nice, and the restaurant is cleaner than some other chain restaurants on Lake Avenue. Their customer service is great, too. The staff there is friendly, and always greets any incoming customers. One of the staff, which I believe the manager, knows her regular customers. I get my lunch at this Panda Express a few times in a week, and she remembers my name. Today, she even gave me a free bowl (fried rice and honey walnut shrimp) because one customer decided not wanting to have the bowl, which was already prepared, and she did not want to waste the food. The food is tasty as usual. I really love their mushroom chicken, string bean chicken breast, kung pao chicken, grilled teriyaki chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and crispy sesame shrimp & beef (their current limited item). The crafted beverages are also good. I often get the peach lychee and watermelon mango refreshers. Be prepared for a longer waiting time when the LA Dodgers wins the home game the night before because there is usually a long line for the online pick ups. read more

I had super low expectations based on my experiences in the east coast but I was pleasantly surprised. I don't know if all (west coast) panda locations are like this but the service was great, the food was fresh, and they have craft drinks! I got the plate which came with 2 entrees and a side. I went with chow mein, honey sesame chicken, and eggplant. What impressed me the most was that they were refilling the options constantly and if it was running low, they gave the option to wait for the new batch which was already on the way. He genuinely seemed like a great person. I believe the name on the receipt may have started with a W. I was happily surprised to see the eggplant tofu dish offered here, which is the only vegan dish Panda Express has (besides the beyond orange chicken which is available at limited periods). A man cut in front of me and the staff took his order while ignoring me completely. It was a strange and frustrating experience, so I won't be back. It seems you have to choose between good food or good service here, but you can't get both. It is a shame because the location and interior is really nice. Can't go wrong with Panda. My favorites are the Orange chicken of course but the mushroom chicken is my second go to.

My daughter wanted Panda so we ordered to go.. I was excited when I saw this location still carries eggplant tofu! (My favorite, btw..) I don't know why this place has low ratings. Tried this place three times in a row. It's always been bad. Food is never hot. It's almost cold. I asked the server specifically, if the food hot. They said yes, but they weren't paying attention, because it was cold. Fortunately, I was eating in the restaurant and I brought it back to the counter.
