I would advise staying away from this location. I was here an hour before closing and they were out of half their menu, I'd consider giving this a pass albeit lazy working. The rice however was inexcusable. This was some of the worst tasting fried rice I've had in my life. Horribly sick after eating here as well as my 3 year old daughter. Pretty sure it was the noodles. I had chicken and noodles but my daughter only had noodles. We've been violently sick for almost two days. When I called to let them know and nicely asked for a manager they said to someone in the background "there's some random lady asking for a manager" in an overly annoyed tone. then someone else replied "oh my God" then muted themselves while I waited. Theyre very obviously not professional and were equally rude when I went in as well but I wasn't worried about rudeness so much till now.. we have confirmed It's not covid and it's the only food thing we've both had that would even go bad like that. We've had peanut butter and jelly and cereal this week crackers and mostly we ate different foods only this was the same besides pb n j. it was exactly an hour and a half after that my stomach started getting mad making sounds and by 6 hours I was puking so hard all the blood vessels in my eyes are busted. Please never eat here for your own sake and your children. Food poisoning is worse then getting the pukes it can kill children, cause miscarriages and cause guillon Barre syndrome among other things. We usually go the one in town and I did notice the food was not as good as the one on Sprague but this is on a whole other level of horrid. My daughter is so sick and can't keep any fluids down. She and I are both unable to stop despite having been given some zofran. I generally don't like Panda Express, but the kids do. Of all the ones I've tried so far in Spokane, this one seems to have the freshest noodles and veggies. But they're generally freshest at the busiest time of day - lunchtime. Service is prompt and courteous, and the restaurant is clean, with ample parking. The South Hill one on 29th has the same menu and decor, but the food at the South Hill branch is often soggy, greasy, and a bit crustier or staler than the one in the Valley. However, I will wait to review the South Hill one at a busy lunchtime before reviewing that one. I've only eaten at the South Hill one during late afternoons or evenings. read more

We come here a lot. We love the food, the service is always good, and its a reasonable price. The only negative is they often don't give enough Teriyaki sauce. We always ask for extra but they rarely do. My family loves putting it also on their noodles, so one tub is not enough for all the meat, let alone for the noodles too. So tonight I asked for my plate that I normally get from Panda Express, I have never had a problem before. Went through the drive threw and got some weird combination of nasty. When I went in to get my order fixed the girl that was working that night I explained my order to, her name was Caitlyn or Kaitlin how ever you wanna spell it had an attitude with me the whole time. Logan on the other hand was very understanding and helped me and made me a happy customer. Caitlyn also yelled at Logan in front of me and another customer and obviously was unhappy that she messed up. I just moved to spokane a month ago and I went through this panda express drive thru TWICE...... both times to my surprise they managed to fuck/mess up both of my orders..... I went to a Panda Express years ago in Tumwater and based on that experience I have never returned until I was in Spokane Valley and this one was within walking distance from my hotel. I decided to give them a second chance and I'm sure glad I did! The staff was fantastic and the food couldn't have been better. My wife is Chinese and before we went here she has not been a fan of ANY Chinese food found in the United States. She changed her mind with this place. An employee on the speaker asked "what do you want?" I replied that I did not know and I could not see the menu as all the light were out. She replied "OK." just as I was about to leave, the menu lit up and a voice said "what you want to order?" Every time I mentioned an item the employee asked "Bowl or plate?" There was no indication on the menu to indicate the difference. I just said I wanted a double order of Orange chicken and some lo-mein. I was informed I had to specify bowl or plate and "ITS CHOW MEIN." I attempted to ask for several other items, and each time the person demanded "bowl or plate?" and what I had asked for was erased from the order display. I finally said forget it. Service has made a steady slide downwards. Food itself is consistent (as they come out of prepared packages), but service was awful. We waited for chow mein for 10 minutes - not because it was busy, but because the employees spent 5 minutes messing around rather than preparing the food. The employee in charge of dishing out our meals was the most scatter-brained individual I've encountered at a Panda, and had to repeatedly confirm that we were, indeed, awaiting chow mein. Further, the manager was not supervising her staff, but rather off in the back. When she eventually did appear, she reprimanded the server, but didn't do anything to make it better. In short, some people simply shouldn't work in the service industry. And this is them. read more

We frequent Panda for special events like birthdays, when grandparents are in town, or the last day of school. Today was the last day of school and the kids were super excited to look forward to Panda. Being a larger family I ordered two Panda Feasts online and got the confirmation of when to pick up my order. I went to the restaurant at 5:30 on a Friday. It was insanely busy with a line forming around the restaurant, all seats filled and the drive thru blocking normal parking lot traffic. I guess everyone had the same idea we did! I started to wait in line until I quickly realized this should be a pick-up-and-go type thing, since I already paid. I exited the line and went near the register, without blocking the crazy long line, and waited hoping someone behind the counter may notice me...I wasn't holding my breath, they were worn thin with that crowd. Soon the girl behind the register, Tonya , noticed me and sweetly said "Did you have a question?" calmly, as if there weren't 100 people also in front of her, waiting for her to ring up their food. I tried to quickly say I had an order to pick up. She asked me my name, looked at a nearby tag and took the time to confirm it with me. She then began to assemble my food into bags. She was quick but not hurried, there's a difference. She even took time to ask if I would like extra sauces or chopsticks. I was SUPER impressed with the care she took for my order when she was being pulled a million different directions by hungry, impatient customers! I soon had my food and was sent on my way with "have a wonderful evening!" as she attended to the next customer in line. We had a delicious HOT dinner with nothing missing and everything tasting fresh. Five cheers for Tonya! She is a huge asset to this location and I hope her management knows what a gem she is! I use to love Panda Express but now I can't stand it thanks to this location! Every single time I go here after 9pm they never have anything on the menu and are extremely rude when you ask them to cook it. They give you ridiculous wait times anywhere from 25-30 min for 2 items. Tonight we went through the drive thru we got there at 9:35pm there were two cars in front of us and 3 behind us. We got up to the ordering window at 9:48 and BENJI the order taker explained they were closing and didn't have everything on the menu we ordered a 2 entree plate and they didn't have the Beijing Beef we said we can wait for it and BENJI stated it would be a 7 min wait or we can just get something else so we switched to orange chicken then we ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp (surprise) they didn't have that either he said we can order something else but we stated we would be ordering another entree plate with honey walnut shrimp so we would wait he said it was to late they couldn't cook it. I thought they closed at 10pm? I wasn't aware you stay open to just "try to get rid of what you have". They absolutely refused to cook anything we wanted. We ended up saying forget it but we're stuck in line. BENJI also hassled the folks behind us on anything they tried ordering. I'm sure the district managers wouldn't be thrilled to hear their employees turned away 3 customers prior to closing time because it was just to late to cook anything. read more

By far the worst Panda in Spokane. Times after time after Time they are out of entree's. Don't even bother going there after 8:30-9:00 they don't make anything until it's ordered , so you will wait according to them 8 min. Which is actually at least 15 min. I have waited as long as 27 min. I have on numerous occasions actually been asked to try their entree of the month special, agree to ordering it and then be told they are out and I will need to wait 8-15-27 min. LOL!!! T hey are suppose to be open until 10:30... I just went there tonight 6/27...at 10:05 , waited at the speaker ( not in line! At the actual speaker) for 7 min. Only to be told "they are out of almost everything because they will be closing soon" And if I wanted anything it would be 15-25 min. The time gets accurate when they don't want to do their job and it's getting close to closing time. If it only happened once it would be no big deal , but this is a constant way of doing business. Apparently the owner or manager would rather not have to risk throwing out food. So they close it up early. And try to force you into entrees that have been there for hours and taste like rubber. It's all for the profits! You would actually save yourself time if you drove to the Panda on Sullivan or even the north side. read more
