We've been to Panda Wok a few times now, and honestly, it never disappoints. I usually get the 2 item combo with chow mein, broccoli beef, and orange chicken, classic and comforting, with good flavor and solid portions. BUT the real star? The cream cheese wontons. Crispy, creamy, and lowkey addictive. We came back specifically for those. They hit the spot every time. The restaurant itself is usually pretty empty when we go, but it's super clean, and that's always a win in my book. The service is great too, the woman working the counter was really friendly and made sure we had all the sauces, plates, and utensils we needed. Not to mention, she hooked it up with portions, and definitely gave me my moneys worth! Hot tip: if you're planning to order the BBQ pork, it's not ready until 1:30 PM daily, so time your cravings accordingly. Would definitely keep coming back when I'm in the mood for a quick, tasty bite!

Sadly...They gave me almost rotten meat going out. You could taste it that it was already going bad The meat was part of the beef and broccoli also, the person that was taking care of us was very rude older lady. The egg rolls tasted bad as well. Teriyaki chicken was very dry. I will definitely not recommend anybody come to this place if they continue with unethical practices. I didn't call the FDA or reported this place. That will be up to the next person. I would advise the owner to dispose of any meat past it's expiration date or going bad. Food poisoning and lawsuits are a subject of real matter. I will NOT be back here ever again.

Combination plate , can't beat the tatse and price !

I rarely eat out, but this has always been my go‑to Chinese food spot. I would go anywhere else because I'm always disappointed. Today I visited the location an hour away near my friend's place since I saw the same name and I just found out they're the original owners !!!! and wow, you can taste the difference. The moment I took the first bite, it felt like stepping back eight years. The flavor is exactly the same as I remember before the owners sold the other location. I still love both spots , but the other location spot never tasted quite right after the change, but this one? This is the real deal. Fresh, flavorful, consistent, and made with the same love and quality I fell in love with years ago. Tiffany was in the from for service and was a delight giving me the history as I sat with the big ambiance window before I drive ! It's absolutely worth the drive. If you want authentic, delicious Chinese food that hasn't lost its magic, this is the place. All Panda Wok's I guess are the true gems .

Was in the mood for chow mein and I wanted to try the tic tock trend to see how much food they'll give... lol Came around 5pm and it was empty and the lady behind the counter looked intimidating and mean. Terrable experience. I got there after 11:00 am and ordered two plates. I then drove back home, which is about nine and a half miles away. After taking care of a few things at home, I sat at the table to start eating; upon my first bite of the chicken vegetable dish it turned out to be extremely Terrable. The same with the chow mein. All I had left to eat was a salad in the refrigerator. After completing the salad, I then packed up the Tainted panda wok food, gathered up some other items I need to take care of and headed back out. Now, on the road, I stopped at the places I needed to stop at, because they were the closest. The last stop was back at panda wok, where the female clerk refused to give me a refund for the Tainted food, because I was there about three hours ago. She kept saying I should have called them, but being upset about the Tainted food they served me wasn't a good idea. Eventually, she asked the manager about giving me a refund, however he said the same thing, three hours is too long, even though 99% of the Tainted food is being returned. Plus he didn't even look at me or talk to me about the situation. The female clerk acted as of she was calling another manager, but stated he's not picking up the phone. Regardless, we argued back and fourth until she finally gave me a refund, but refused to give me the receipt back. I tried to argue about this as well, but she absolutely refused to give me the receipt back. I gave up on trying to get the receipt back and just walked away. Stay clear of this establishment, it's not even worth trying.

I was craving Chinese Food and it was late. I couldn't resist the temptation, So I went to Panda Wok about half an hour before closing time. The place was crowded. Something happened that night, because I found out I wasn't the only one who was craving Chinese food,but there were many people who had the same ideas! The line was long but it moved fast. They had 3 types of combo plate; one item, two or three items. I got 3 items for my first two orders including barbecue pork, beef broccoli, barbecue chicken and half rice / half chow Mein. For the third order I chose shrimps with half chow Mein & half rice The food was really delicious, the amount was enormous. I also ordered wonton & cheese roll, but they were not that good. The lady who served us was super nice and friendly. The place was very clean although they were close to the closing time. They kept bringing out hot delicious trays from the kitchen while I was waiting to receive my orders. There were plenty of parking spots in Covina plaza, it was so easy to find a spot. That restaurant is a very nice spot with fast and good service, in addition to their yummy food

I love this place! Great food, awesome prices, best yet? I don't have to get rice and chow mein. Too many carbs. I get chop suey instead AND THEY DON'T CHARGE EXTRA!!!! Hear that people?! Every place I go has a major heart attack when I say no rice, no chow mein believe me if my blood sugar didn't shoot to the moon when I ate it I'd be getting it! Also no MSG. True, they don't have Moo Goo Gai Pan but then who does? It's simple, abundant, delicious and inexpensive! Love this place! read more

I was looking for a Chinese takeout with large portions. This was excellent and served me two meals. I ordered the 3 combo which includes the rice and chow mein, so you get three additional sides. Orange chicken and beef broccoli was excellent. My husband did get one of the beef choices but was disappointed to find out it wasn't boneless. He said it still stated alright. Neverheless, we would go there again. On a side note, you do have to park away from the restaurant by Carl's Jr. because all the other businesses reserved the front parking spots, especially the dental business next door. I don't think it is right they took so much of the parking...consequently, we were approached by homeless beggers in the parking lot when we went back to our car. They came up to the car window and were asking for money. This just bothered me and I was glad I wasn't alone for safety reasons. read more

Best Chinese food in all of the SGV . If you want fresh quality food this is the place to go , food is always fresh and delicious. Employees are very attentive , respectful and are always in a great mood. Before you walk out the door they always make sure you leave happy Definitely a 5 star in my opinion. This is a average Chinese food steam cart place. The older lady help us was helpful but the food doesn't look as appealing as the photos on their yelp page. With COVID the line was long but went relatively smooth...I ordered steam rice and noodles, broccoli beef and orange chicken. The beef was chewy and not tender. The orange chicken didn't burst of flavor. The second plate was fried rice with Kung pao chicken and jalapeño chicken. Again, nothing to write an exciting review about! Friendly server and have a variety of food options to choose. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive. The thing I likes the most where the vegetables and chow mein. But the chicken we ate from here was a little off and also made my mother very sick. She is fine now but I don't think I'll come back. read more

Most horrible service ever here at this panda walk I walked in I 11:30 a.m. and there was food there but no one came to the counter to acknowledge I was there so I walked out walked and 10 minutes later she tells me to go close door because of the flies are gonna come in and then not to bring a cart inside the store because is not allowed really I'm paying customer and if I have a shopping cart with my kid and my grocery bags in there does it really matter what if I had a stroller which you tell me to leave then?!!! Rude ass lady.. I'd give 0 stars. read more

This is your typical Chinese food place like a Panda Express but better. The food here taste SO good. The oranges chicken is super juicy and and the chow mein is really good too it's not dry! It's perfect for your quick lunch break when you're super hungry because it's cheap and they give you a pretty big portion of everything, you'll leave satisfied. Definitely recommend if you're looking for some Chinese food. read more

Whoever owns this place should consider firing the lady who works there. Never argue with your customer! If you're unsure of what your customer wants, clarify and ask politely and be gracious enough to fulfill the order. And to top it all, NEVER talk behind your customer's back to another customer, where's your business ethics? Its's RUDE! Remember, your food is just mediocre and there's better fast food Chinese place surrounding you, like TASTY GOODY!!! read more

This place does not look like much, but it hits the spot. A hole-in-the-wall that deserves much praise. They have big portions enough for 3 to share and it's good when you want something tasty and for a good price. I usually get a 2 entree plate with Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, with half Chow Mein, Half Fried Rice. You can't beat this price! read more

1st time customer was not satisfied, I ordered broccoli and beef meat was under cooked and chewy and broccoli was mushy. Chow mein was tasteless, and the Orange Chicken was Ok but would not recommend eating here. And won't be returning. And got a Major Stomach ache that landed me in the ER. read more

Excellent customer service. Clean and welcoming decor. Excellent food. I'm not normally a big fan of Chinese take-out places. In fact, it's been years since I ate at one since such places are not easily found in my neck of the woods but we were in the area and I saw they illustrious 5-red-stars and figured why not. Glad I popped in. The chow mein was pleasantly flavorful, bbq chicken was tasty and moist. The two ladies at the counter were very pleasant. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area next time. read more

Well after my second visit to this place I was a bit disappointed with the selection of items at 11:30am. A half hour after opening. When I asked if there BBQ pork was coming out soon the young lady stated it wouldn't be out till after 2 pm... Um what? 3 to 4 other trays were also empty. Why open for business if your menu isn't 100% available. Then I noticed a sign that stated because minimum wage had increased, they would charge an extra $.30 per Credit/debit card transactions... again. What? When I asked what minimum wage increased to, both the girl working the counter and one of the cooks I believe both stated they didn't know... So you're charging an extra fee and you don't know why? Won't be coming back to this place. Even after 2 pm. read more

There aren't a ton of fast food Chinese places around. I'm not the biggest fan of some of the other local places so I decided to give this place a try. It's nestled in the strip mall, and not that easy to see from the street. I ordered the spicy chicken with chow mein and fried rice. They give you a massive amount of food for the price you pay. It easily lasted a few meals. The spicy chicken was just that, spicy. It wasn't too oily and it was full of veggies. Service was fast, in and out in less than 5 minutes. read more

Great selection of Chinese food which includes but is not limited to: cheese wontons, egg rolls, orange chicken, and chow mein. Always a friendly staff member present, especially when I normally come here after a long day, that ensures you have a good visit. Fortunately not only is it good (pretty) authentic Chinese food but it's also cheaper than Panda Express and fills you up a lot faster. Normally I can go for a whole bigger plate at Panda Express, but at Panda Wok not only do I pay less for the same portion of food but I also am left more satisfied. Maybe it's the greasiness (which is a good thing here!) or maybe it's just me, but I enjoy coming here when I'm craving a little more authenticity on a budget. I definitely recommend their cheese wontons as a side, you won't regret them! read more

More like 3.5 stars on the food, but the restaurant itself is super clean and super new! I went with my mom who's a huge fan of wonton soup. She seemed to enjoy theirs a lot. I just had a two item combo, but the broccoli beef was way salty. Everything else was great! Panda Wok was packed during lunch with only one person helping up front. I will try something else next time, but overall this is good take out Chinese food. read more

This place used to be so good. It was my favorite Chinese food place. They have gotten so bad. The chow mein is tasteless and so oily. The shrimp are also tasteless. My bf got the orange chicken and he also didn't like it. Even the white rice was bad! I think they started to go down in quality when the friendly server left. Always a good option if you're looking for some easy, delicious take out. Their food is usually pretty yummy and there's never much of a wait and like a lot of Chinese take out places, they give you some hefty portions for what you're paying. My only comment would be that there's a lack of consistency with the bbq pork (my personal favorite dish). They don't have It available until 1:30 pm and they run out pretty early in the evening. Even if you get there before they run out, it's not always the freshest. There have been occasions where it's absolutely delicious though! Just prepare for a hit or miss if you're also a fan of bbq pork. read more

The services here are very friendly and attentive. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you come in an hour before they close they will let you know that in advance. I think the intent is so you order fast and don't linger. Not a negative for me since my family usually is pretty quick about eating and going. They are also pretty good with customizing their ingredients. My wife is gluten free so we would ask that they not add in soy sauce or oyster sauce in some of the dishes that we know can still work without those two ingredients. You would need to know how to customize it yourself as I don't think they would know what to do if you simply say no gluten. Overall, I really don't have anything negative to say about this place. We walk in hungry and happy and we come out full and satisfied.

The bbq pork is so juicy and tender!!! *___* My go to is the half & half chow mein/fried rice w/ the bbq pork (duh) and teriyaki chicken. If I'm feeling different it'd be the broccoli beef and kung pao chicken. The portions are enough to feed 3. Seriously. The servings are so generous, just as the staff is. This place was a nightmare. The current lady behind the counter has a HUGE attitude problem. They have a no sample policy as well. Asking questions gets you a snide or snappy response, or they give you the stankface. I ordered a plate with beef and brocolli and the lady said it was coming right out. Decided to try this place after looking for Chinese food on Yelp. It was average Chinese food not bad but not good either. They do give you a lot of food however and the prices are decent. Cons: They charge .30 card fee. While I was there I did happen to see a fly landing on the food. Doubt I'll be back unless it's recommended by a friend.
