Ordered a "new" sandwich , chicken , Avocado BLT. Description Reads as follows: Grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, crisp mixed greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh sliced avocado, garlic aioli, salt and pepper on our Country Rustic Sourdough. This is what I got: No avocado whatsoever, tomato's had no flavor at all and I had to ask for it to be toasted or it would have been cold rye bread- it definitely wasn't sourdough. I did 1/2 sandwich, the other 1/2 chicken noodle soup. It was unflavored and pretty bad as well. We also ordered dessert. I love their cinnamon crunch bagels & the Honey Walnut Cream Cheese. I figured I'd eat it for breakfast the next day. It was hard as a rock already. It also tasted really different and I looked at the cream cheese container and saw it is Reduced Fat Honey Walnut Cream Cheese- trust me, it's a noticeable taste difference and not good. I realize that in the afternoon things aren't gonna be quite as fresh, but this whole meal was disappointing. There was nobody really in the restaurant, except some lady that kept talking to a trashbag of clothes in a booth and had no food in front of her. Bathrooms: Very clean, and smelled good. Plenty of stalls, and urinals. Paper towel and toilet paper were stocked! Atmosphere: During the weekday dinner rush, Very quiet, tranquil, and chill. I've been here almost every day studying/working for the past few weeks. The staff is friendly and the service is fast, although I do use the app to order ahead and usually only get a drink (totally recommend the sip club!) I have gotten sweets and Mac n cheese recently and both were delicious. Panera in general is overpriced, but if you have the means I do recommend their food. This location gets very busy on weekends during lunch, fairly noisy, but with noise cancelling headphones it's ignorable. They also have a more dimly-lit room separate from the main area that is usually pretty empty, I almost always study in there. read more

I ordered my daughter the kids grilled cheese meal. The bread was only warmed not grilled and the cheese was like Kraft. She took one bite and then my husband tried it. We ended up throwing it away. Had breakfast @ the new Panera near Kroger in Beavercreek on Dayton-Xenia this morning. Sad to report the ordering experience and food quality were not to standard. Was not provided an oppty. to input my phone no. toward Panera rewards program, had to ask for coffee cups, and had to ask for the muffin my husband ordered. When food arrived, I was saddened to "not" see or taste avocado in the chipotle chicken avocado breakfast wrap. The flavor was good however the word "avocado" should be removed from the title of the wrap since only a scant green paste could be found. The wrap was sloppily assembled and didn't hold together when I picked it up. Won't be visiting this Panera branch again. read more

Craving broccoli cheddar soup today so I stopped here for a late lunch. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich to go along with my soup and of course a frosted cookie. I really like this location, the food was excellent. Recently I had questioned whether the quality of Panera's food had been slipping. The last three sandwiches I had (at two different locations) were noticeably skimpy on ingredients and the soup didn't seem the same. Even the baked goods I have had recently didn't seem to be the usual quality. However, I am happy to say that everything I ordered today was delicious. Soup: creamy and full of broccoli and other veggies. Grilled cheese on whole grain with red onion and tomato: melted and perfectly toasted. Frosted cookie: fresh and quite tasty. My only issue is that all the tables were dirty when I dined in at 3:00 pm. A pet peeve of mine is walking around the dining room, carrying my food, searching for a clean table. An employee did come out and wipe the tables before I left, so maybe they had experienced a busier lunch than usual. read more

Panera bread is generally a very consistent chain. I love all of their soups and haven't ever had an issue with the food itself. However, today when I ordered two bowls of soup, one for me and my son, the portion control wasn't what it should be and was quite obvious. It should not have to be noted, but with everything happening these days, a restaurant HAS to balance portion and cost. Consistency is even more critical these days, as people want the most that can be had for their money. Each bowl needs to have the same amount, and while it's not unreasonable to assume mistakes will never be made, the customer should not be greeted with attitude (verbal or non-verbal) when the discrepancy is pointed out, as I was when I pointed out that issue with my two bowls. read more

This location is frequently busy. I feel like I almost always pull into the last empty spot in the parking lot. But if there's a line it always moves fast, which is awesome. I love that Paneras usually have a fireplace in their seating area. Now that the weather is cold, this is exactly what I want when I stop for lunch or dinner. Their bagels stay well-stocked all day. Check out cherry house cafe...good food, good service and great prices. I would like to add that I do believe that this Panera has the dirtiest bathrooms in Beavercreek. Updated 6/18/2017 -- Seriously. Worst Panera in the area. Especially with carry-out/rapid pick-up orders. Double check your order before you leave. I cringe any time someone in my family wants to go back. It's always a disappointment. See attached photo. I paid $4.85 for that. ------- They've gotten my order wrong both in store and for rapid pick-up multiple times. I have a love/hate relationship with Panera. Sometimes I binge on the food here 3-4 times a week for about 6 months, then I want nothing to do with the restaurant for the other 6 months of the year. With new seasonal soup & sandwich options, I can't get enough of Panera this time of year! Let's start with the turkey apple cheddar sandwich...amazing! The sweetness of the apple blends perfectly with the sharpness of the cheddar. It's served on a delicious cranberry bread. I call it Thanksgiving in a sandwich. I went here on a lunch break with coworkers. I had a "You Pick Two" with the red bean soup and Fiji Apple Salad. I chose the potato chips as my side. My meal was quick, delicious, and filling but not enough to make me feel gross. The staff was also very friendly. I am giving this review four stars because my coworker was very disappointed in the amount of tuna salad on her sandwich. I have to admit that it really wasn't much at all for the price. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I just had the most disgusting experience at this Panera. first of all I arrived at 8:30 I left and half my food still wasn't ready. it was 9 pm. it was a half a cold sandwich. the other half was put into another customers bag and after that customer touched my food I requested it be remade. it was a half grilled cheese and tomato soup. they refused to make it again. I was told "if you don't it want it you can go ahead and throw it away. That food is perfectly fine." I left without taking any of my food, and after spreading it on the counter I let them know that , in fact, they could be the ones to throw it away. The customer service was disgusting, the restaurant was dirty. and I'm very disappointed. It was February 2021. I just had my 60th birthday and received a #panerabread email for a free #pastry. I look forward to this #freebie every year. As I was staying with my daughter & grandchildren in Fairborn Ohio for the weekend they waited outside in the car as I ran inside to get my birthday treat. It was late afternoon & there was a bit of a line upon entering. There was one employee at the counter taking orders. Other ones were preparing the food orders for the customers. What they were making smelled good but we had a picnic dinner with us for an indoor play area. When I did get to the counter a second employee had jumped in to help out on the order taking. There was an initial problem accessing my account as the email didn't seem to have a bar code. Giving my phone number took care of this. I was disappointed that I did not see my favorite the #kitchensinkcookie. I tried something different the #chocolatechippercookie. It was big, a little bit on the crispy side & filled with a lot of chocolate chips. I spent about 6 minutes inside the restaurant and planned on sharing the cookie with my daughter later. Visited this location between lunch and dinner with my 10 year old granddaughter so it wasn't busy. She ordered Mac and Cheese which she said she liked. I ordered a four cheese grilled cheese sandwich which came badly burned and creamy tomato soup. I don't know what the small lumps were in the "creamy" soup but it was loaded with those small lumps. (did something curdle?). In the end I suppose the Mac and Cheese, which I didn't try, was good enough for a 10 year old and at least the coke I had was good. This place would benefit if they initiated some quality control for their employees. That "food" should never have been served. read more

It was a good day for this Panera Bread location. That is not always the case. There was someone actually cleaning tables! Personnel was not as crabby as usual. It was a refreshing change. Our food was good. I got the french toast bagel breakfast sandwich and enjoyed it. My husband got the jalapeno breakfast sandwich and it was good too. I do wish that they would do a better job of keeping their breakfast souffle sandwiches available. It was only 10AM. But management is not inclined to be flexible. And that always seems to be the problem with all Panera locations. Customer service takes a back seat to the cookie cutter schedule. My only complaint thus far with this location is they almost always hand out my food with dirty silverware. It seems to be just from their gloves from them prepping the food but still... I'd rather just be able to pick up my fork and eat, instead of having to either clean it first or ask for a new set of silverware. Otherwise, have always had good experiences at this location. Can be a bit busy at times, but haven't ever had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for service or food. Staff always seems friendly and willing to help. Bathroom could use some updating, but I don't use it often so meh. Only bummer about their menu is the only gluten free item they have, is a triple chocolate cookie. It's pretty good but for a bread company, it's a shame they have yet to add at least a few more options for those of us who can't eat wheat. read more

Their solution was for me to return to the restaurant to pick up the items. Would not refund the value of missing items. Instead they sent a coupon for compensation, which was expired. Panera bread is my new found addiction. Love it!! There is nothing I have had in here that I haven't liked. Their chicken noodle soup is low cal and yummy. The ham and swiss was pretty darn good. The summer corn soup was crazy delicious. Chicken salad with the most delicious fruit ever was well...delicious! My all time favorite is their Mediterranean veggie sandwich (and let me tell you I am NOT a vegetarian...I love me some meat and potatoes...) My plus one had the steak sandwich which he said, with a melancholy tone, "it was alright." Alright??? Are you kidding me? Panera can do no wrong in my eyes. Let me clarify that I did not eat that all during one visit (while my hubby munched on a lone steak sandwich). Ok well almost no wrong...Losing a star for forgetting one of the key components of my ham and swiss...um the swiss. It seems that I am not the only yelper they have let down. Panera is a great place to do your homework and grab a decent and quick bite to eat. This particular location is very clean, friendly, and accommodating. I ordered a bbq chicken flatbread and tomato soup. The bbq chicken sandwich was good and the tomato soup was great! I had to go back and order a few more pieces of bagette but other than that, I enjoyed my meal. This is my go-to place for WiFi, second only to Starbucks' convenience. read more
