I see why this location has an inspection score of 85 and I won't be surprised if it drops much lower. First, I waited 35 minutes in the drive thru. When I finally made it to the window, the young lady apologized for the long wait and she was very friendly, but what turned me off was when I noticed that she had soup bowls from the kitchen at the window. She took a cup rather than a ladle to dip the soup. When I inquired about it, she admitted that she used the cup to dip my soup. I immediately asked for a refund. The manager came and apologized for "cutting corners at the end of the night". Needless to say, I won't be returning to this location. I can't eat at a place where I know they are cutting corners. Tables were dirty , The tea containers look like they had not been washed in a while , countertops were not wiped off. I don't think it's a health risk . This place needs help. $32 for two adult and a kid to eat soups and sandwiches? 15 minute wait for food to come out. On top of that, chicken noodle soup was nothing but water, our turkey bacon avocado sandwiches, neither had bacon or avocado on them. Took them back and the manager asked me if I wanted them to just throw it on the plate or put it on the sandwich. Ha! All I could do was laugh. Guy next to me brought back a melt that the bread was literally black on the bottom it was so burnt, also no avocado on his sandwich. I'm a huge fan of panera and I've been to many, this has to be the worst panera I've ever been to. The staff is slow and just like to talk to each other while 6 plus people wait at the window for their food with beepers at hand. I had to wait 40 minutes for my food with it not even busy. Gross! I usually eat at Atlanta Bread Company which is in the same comes but decided up change it up and try Panera. I ordered the "Bacon Turkey Bravo" and was highly disappointed especially for how expensive it was ($8) and how low quality the ingredients were! This place has the absolute worst service Ever. On occasional mornings after dropping my daughter off at school, I will stop by for a spinach and artichoke souffle. They are always out!!!!!!!!! I have gone at different variations of times from 7:30 to 9 to see if they have more at certain times and they never do!!!! It's like why don't you just make enough for the full morning rush or ask me to wait while you make more. The one in Duluth at least lets me wait for them to make more. This place is trash. People should not go into this panera expecting the usual great panera food or great panera service. I have given them 3 opportunities at the drive through and have been disappointed twice. I called the manager and was told to come in with my name and they would replace my sandwich. I came in and was told that it is not their policy and I needed the name of the manager I spoke with or the receipt. Food is good. Your standard Panera food. The service and the wait however are a complete different story. Used to come here a lot and get breakfast through the drive through. And one day decided to stop coming, figured walking from my store in the mall to Starbucks and back would be faster,l than waiting in the Panera drive through, which it is. Well I guess I forgot why I stopped coming and I was reminded this week twice why I stopped. It takes forever to get your food. Like even when you pull up to the window it takes forever for them to even come get your money much less explain to you why a drive through line (which is supposed to be fast food) is taking so long. I would not recommend this Panera drive thru. I ordered a full salad and didn't check it before I left the premises. It was a 1/2 salad and I paid full price. Check your order before you leave the drive thru. It had very little lettuce, chicken or fruit. First off, they implemented tips after you buy your food, i dont know if the money goes into a tip pool or not or it goes to your server, but regardless no one here deserves a tip, especially people who take orders, i work at Chikfila and make the chicken all day and do i see any tips? When this place first opened it was awesome, they also had a 100% on their inspection, now down to 86. My daughter worked here awhile back and it was great, but they started hiring anyone who walked in the door, drug addicts and all and now the food shows it. The bread was stale on my sandwhich, the avocado was disgusting, spoiled. I took a pic of how little was even put on my sand which. I'm sad because I used to come here often and now I won't be back, I've tried it a few more times and it's just bad now. Just got back from Buford location. I ordered pick 2 salad and soup. I asked specifically for a salad with avocados on it. So when I got back to the office it had none on there. The salad was brown and onions slimy. Oh, and never once did the little girl at the drive through say thank you or please. She did manage to say a few times "her you go" terrible food and service. I like to try new things. The new celebration started this last week and the turkey chili is back but they have a couple of new sandwiches that are truly delicious. The Italian is new and awesome heated my husband and I split the sandwich so we could try the other new one too the chipotle chicken avocado melt was pretty tasty. Cheers to Panera for bringing back the cranberry orange muffin and adding a snickerdoodle to the bakery items. The service was great and the place was clean. This was the most unorganized Panera I have ever been to. They had no sense to ask if I would like my food to go or not. I then had to walk up to the window and ask myself, to nasty looks from the managers. They then made my order to go, but did not alert me in any way that it was ready for me to take. They even gave me a buzzer that should have gone off when my meal was ready for me to take. But instead of alerting me to grab my food, it sat in the window for 15 min before I had to walk up and ask if it was mine. I typically do not write reviews, but this one warranted a warning for everyone else. I never like Panera... every...single... time I go there something goes wrong. Today was no exception. I went in with low expectations.. my sister and u ordered one of the breakfast sandwiches on the menu: egg white, Turkey sausage, spinach & tomato on a while wheat bagel & bacon, egg and cheese on a Asiago bagel. Very simple order..no special ad ons or adjustments. Before the cashier took my payment she repeated our order. We get my food to go and head to my car..starving so I pop open the box and to my suprirse: egg sandwich (with yolk), no turkey sausage, added cheese and on a cheese bagel.my sisters was egg with turkey sausage, no cheese & bacon on my whole wheat bagel....it truly just baffles me everytime I go there they manage to royally jack something up. I'm not normally one to take the time to write a review in order to just complain, but I have to say that this is by far the worst Panera I've been to. Save yourself the headache and do not stop by this location. I've tried coming a few times thinking maybe they were just busy or it was a one time bad experience. I was very wrong. The drive thru is a nightmare and the employees are poorly trained and rude. This is the third time I've had my order be given to me wrong. Today, I ordered two sandwiches and the girl that took my order placed it incorrectly. When I got to the window after sitting in a very long line, she told me they no longer carried that sandwich. Turns out she had taken my order wrong and the sandwich she had put down was no longer a sandwich they carried. After correcting her I waited even longer at the window to have my correct order given to me. Then she handed me my receipt and I noticed she still charged me for the sandwich she had incorrectly put on my order. When I asked her about it (to have her fix it) because it was more $$ than the sandwich I actually ordered, she was rude and dismissive. Even though the whole thing was her fault. This isn't the first time I've had it happen. Panera should be embarrassed of the employees they have working the window at this location. Since this is my first visit here, I don't want to give a lower rating based on my order being wrong. I can't say that I have had any issues at Panera Bread before. I was elated that there was a drive thru as this is rare at Panera. It was raining and I did not want to get out of the car and deal with the storm. I was asked for my phone number to myPanera points, but I did not know it and she did not ask for my card at the window. I thought that was a little strange. Anyway, I assumed it was just easier and I told her to make sure to give me the receipt so I could add my points. Then, I noticed she put my apple and my bakery item in the same bag together with no container or sleeve and I thought that was a little gross, but I guess I am just picky. Then, when I finally settled in to eat my meal after I got to my friends house about 15 minutes away, I noticed my order was wrong. I did not call and complain because it is 2017 and I have been dealing with drive thrus for over 2 decades now (showing my age). I know better than to leave the window without checking because they F you in the drive thru as Joe Pesci so eloquently put it in Lethal Weapon (1987 -- really showing my age lol). All in all, the food is never a miss here. They have removed the preservatives and I am very thankful for that. She credited me the amount of the order with a half sincere apology. My guess is she's had problems with this employee before and has done nothing about it. This Panera is not that great. I love the convenience of being able to order using the rapid pick up method, but literally EVERY time I go to pick up my order, I find something is not right! Today I ordered the Pick 2 with French Onion soup and a Chicken Salad Sandwich with a large drink. I ordered the sandwich on a croissant roll instead of the regular bread. It was gross. First of all, they put a TON of lettuce, second, there was barely any (maybe a tablespoon) of chicken salad on my sandwich! If I'm paying $10+ for half a sandwich and some soup, I at least expect it to be more than a tablespoon! The chicken salad that was on there was watery and gross. I get the sandwich all the time at other locations and have never been disappointed. I also had ordered a large drink and they left me 2 MEDIUM drinks??? This location is a joke.
