Years ago when they first opened I really enjoyed coming to this location. Over the years they have really gone down hill restaurant is very dirty crowded and disorganized staff is rude frequently get orders wrong. This is the worst service ever received. Placed order online, didn't get confirmation email but the money was taken out of the account. $50! After making 3 phone calls to try to get the situation rectified, I was finally told by the manager to just come down and he would make it right. After driving there, I was told no confirmation, no food. It's not my fault your website it faulty. Now I'm out $50 and have no food. Clearly this store is ran by individuals who are not equipped or not competent enough to handle circumstances other than the status quo. Poor Management = Poor Service. Don't roll you eyes and sigh like you are the one being put out!! Clearly you have no business running a store if you don't understand that your clients are the reason you have a job. I Absolutely loved my experience at this panera. I live in Eastgate And I dislike the Eastgate location so much because the staff is rude and the food is gross in the people are rude however now, I will now make the extra drive to this panera location. I very rarely have a good experience at this Panera. The staff is always rude and they are always behind on orders or forgetting things. The last time I was there, they forgot a cup in my rapid pickup order, and when I politely asked them for it the guy slammed it on the counter and said NOTHING. They also never put utensils in the bags, and it's very difficult to eat soup on the go with no spoon if you don't notice it beforehand.... read more

The bread is so hard it's not even edible, and cookies are also always hard. They always run out of rolls, certain breads for sandwiches, and soup. The only thing I like about this Panera is the staff is always very nice and hardworking. Staff gets two stars but I live 1 minute from here and I'll pass this Panera and go to eastgate from now on. It's sounds ridiculous to pass Panera to go to another one but I can't eat their stale food anymore. I actually started disliking Panera food until I had eastegate Panera and now I realize I like Panera I've just been served rocks for bread and cookies from beechmont. 8/13 I was starving and decided to give this Panera another chance. Poor experience bad service a lot of "Management" standing around or sweeping while employee are swamped. Waited 20 mins for our food today. Apparently online orders get priority over sit down customers. Guy with red shirt liked to argue back with customers who were tired of waiting instead of expediting food. This location is CONSTANTLY out of main ingredients for their meals. Today they were out of bagets AND flatbread. It was only 7 o clock. Also, many of their staff is very rude and unapologetic. Fast service, good food. Even in a rush during lunch I was served pretty fast. The people at the counter are very friendly. I got the pick 2 combo which is a perfect amount of food for lunch. Their summer salads with the fruit are delicious. Minus 1 star for the price. read more

My order was ready pretty quickly, but the food wasn't as good as it normally is. I had a sierra turkey and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. The sandwich was good, but the soup was barely warm (and my baguette was tough). The worst part is that it is freezing outside, and they didn't even have their fireplace on. :( The service here was good as always, so I will definitely be back. read more

I have been to this Panera Bread four times over the past year and it has gotten progressively worse. It is dirty and unkempt. The iced tea they were serving was spoiled and although I told two employees that the container in which they were serving the tea looked disgusting and that the tea itself tasted spoiled - nothing was done! I am accustomed to the Panera Bread in Crestview Hills Ky which is clean. I left without eating- they had my order wrong and they were not addressing the issue of spoiled tea. I love going to Panera and this was my Mom's go to place on Wednesdays with my nieces. Since mom (85) has not been feeling well she has not been able to go every week and it had actually been several months. We had lunch and then stocked up on Cinnamon crunch bagels (3) and cinnamon rolls (5) to put in the freezer. What a bunch of children. This location, aside from employing children, never have anything. They are always out of what I seem to order. And then get visibly angry when I ask for a refund. This is without a doubt the worst Panera around and I go to several of the different locations depending on my travel locations . I go in around 3pm to pick up some breakfast items. I'm first confronted with a filthy restaurant . I was shocked at how dirty it was and the kicker is there was like 7 employees standing around doing nothing . One would think instead of standing around looking at each other they could do some much needed cleaning. I wanted pastry items which is right as you walk in. I'm standing there no other. customers in the store . So these 7 lazy employees not one of them could be bothered to come help me. The real kicker is the manager Steve was right In Front of me with another employee playing on a laptop. I guess it's far more important to play computer games than it is to service a paying customer. I then tried to get some attention from one of the 5 employees standing around the lunch counter part doing nothing. Finnally got the attention of a girl And she refused to come to where I was at. I needed someone in front of the pastry area so I could pick out what I wanted. Instead she yells at me from way down at lunch area to come to her. She insisted that the front registers weren't open. After 3 rounds of argument she finally moved her lazy rear and came to me. I didn't mind walking up to the open register to pay but for ordering it needed to be in front of the pastry area. I know she was as aggravated with me as I were of her so she made ordering my 26.00 dollars of product very painful. I had to repeat over and over again the items I wanted. We even took each item one by one and she still made it difficult. I know it was Black Friday and they probably were busy earlier but that's no excuse. So I got tired of her attitude I asked who to complain to so she turns around and gets this Steve person who said he was management somehow he tore himself away from the laptop and didn't really listen to me and had an annoyed attitude. Offered me nothing but lame excuses. I think one of them was they were getting ready for shift change an hour from the time I was there so they close down the front of the store. Poorly managed , employees lazy rude argumentative and a very dirty store that the board of health should condemn. Needless to say this Panera is off the list. Gave one star only because no stars wasn't an option. Stopped in this morning at 10:18 AM for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Hadn't been to this location in years, but was amazed at how dirty things appeared. Staff appeared to be very disorganized, constantly disappearing from the register. After waiting in the Order line for 15 minutes, someone finally asked to take our order. When we ordered breakfast sandwiches, she informed us that breakfast was only served until 10:30. I love Panera's mac n cheese but they are always so inconsistent from store to store. The one in Anderson always has dried out, overcooked mac n cheese that clumps together. I've gotten great mac, the soupy kind that is loose instead of stuck together and not quite as soft, at other locations- but Anderson pretty much always has the dried up, stuck together mac, and since it is the same amount of calories and costs the same as the good kind, I won't be back. read more

I'm giving 1 star because you can't give a zero. The absolute slowest, rudest and incompetent staff I've seen in awhile. That is putting it lightly. My orders are never right and the manager is more concerned with protecting employees rather than improving them. I complained several times to her and nothing ever changed. One female employee is under the impression that the she is always right no matter what the complaint. The attitude I received from this person was inexcusable and she should've been fired a year ago. I'm done with this place and I recommend everyone go somewhere else to eat unless you want to be disappointed. read more

I have stopped going to Panera altogether because of this Panera. The staff is always rude and unhelpful. The garbage can behind the counter is always visibly overflowing (to the point where garbage is on the floor) and I've watched employees on multiple occasions just throw their trash on the floor beside it instead of switch the bag out. Rapid pickup orders are usually missing something which isn't a big deal, the big deal is how they act like you are inconveniencing them by correcting it and don't give an apology and glare at you. They are always out of baguettes by 6:30, probably because they are too lazy to make more. The place is always dirty. The staff does not work well together, and I have seen my food just sitting behind the counter waiting to be bagged for 5+ minutes because someone left it there and started doing something else and forgot. I never get silverware in to-go orders, for example, no knife with a bagel and cream cheese and no spoon with soup. Soft-drink machine is usually either out of ice or the drinks are flat. This Panera needs to be shut down. read more

Their soup/bread bowl should be called a bread/soup bowl. They only put in a Cup Not a Bowl of soup in this dish. So for $6+ u get mostly bread. I went back to the counter to ask to buy another cup alacarte and let them know I wasn't happy with the quantity of soup. No attempt was made to make me a happy customer. I was told the pricing can never be altered and I can only buy soup for nearly $5 that comes with More bread and chips/apple. BTW, they are the only restaurant in the world that I know of, that sells an apple with no prep, right out of the bag, Really! Also, it was the worst french onion soup ever and I asked the second time for the cheese-broccoli which wasn't much better. I will grant u their bread is nice but that is it. Food is great, a little bit overpriced but worth the indulgence once in awhile. :) I also really love the cozy atmosphere and the restaurant always seems clean. The only negative aspect of this restaurant comes from an incident I had the other week when I visited. I ordered for rapid pick-up (you order and pay online, and they promise to have your food waiting on that shelf installation right when you come in to pick it up). The website said it would be ready 10 minutes after I finished ordering, and I arrived just under 15 minutes following my order placement. There was no food waiting on the shelves, and working in customer service myself, I figured they were busy and it would be out soon.I waited 15 more minutes, and made eye contact with several employees (including the manager) on more than one occasion as I was standing awkwardly in front of the empty shelves. Nobody said anything or even acknowledged that I was waiting, so I finally went up and asked. The manager simply says "Oh yeah....here it is. Sorry about that!" and grabs my bag that had been waiting on the floor behind the counter, apparently. The food was hot and still delicious, but I would have really appreciated it if I could have gotten a free cookie or drink or something for patiently waiting so long for food which no employees could be bothered to walk 10 feet over to the pick-up shelves. read more

okaysis. so basically i came here and saw mr clean if he hadn't gone on the keto diet, so i was immediately frightened. i went to give him my order and as i was saying "hello could i please get the pick-2 with a grilled cheese with bacon on sourdough and mac and cheese" he interrupted very rudely and asked me if i had a rewards number. i then placed my order and of course it came out wrong so i went to get it fixed. he then asked me what i wanted to do with the wrong food and that's when i told him i didn't want it and he told me he didn't know what to do w it, like sis really?? you're like the manager cmon. so another employee told me to just set it on the counter and he'd take care of it. for the rest of our lunch we observed him yelling at several employees while they were clearly busy, when he could have just done what needed to be done himself. i could tell all the workers didn't like him and for good reason. scary man. okay boys if you spot him while coming into this panera please run, it's not safe. even now sitting here writing this review i'm watching him and looking at the fold of skin on the back of his bald head, getting even more angry. he reminds me of the grandma from pawn stars show if instead of getting in the pawning business he got in the kroger deli business--- and i oop goodnight. read more
