I was in Dublin for work and in a place without lunch. A quick search of available places nearby revealed a Panera among the choices. This particular Panera is in the same shopping complex as the Target, across from Safeway to the East. Panera is on the opposite side of the parking area from Target and when I went at lunch time there was plenty of parking although nothing right next to the doors. Walking inside the restaurant was clean, and there was a long line at 11:20 am but it moved fast. When I got up to the front I gave my order without much fuss, got my receipt (no buzzer here) and went to stand by the other counter for pickup. A few minutes later (~5) the food was ready and I was on my way back to the office for more work and some lunch! I didn't use it but walking by I could tell they had a nice patio. This would be a great place to sit when the weather is nice and you have some time. read more

The service here is extremely fast. You order, grab you drink and your food is out a few minutes after you sit down. The staff is friendly, even though hey talk really fast. My favorite is the Green Goddess with no chicken. Extra bacon takes the place of the chicken. Love the cleanliness and the quiet environment of this location. read more

A great place for some drip coffee, sandwich or salad. I like that they put the calories on the menu board so I don't have to eat 600cal worth of salad. Asian Chicken Salad - tangy and sweet, I asked them to leave out the wonton strips (I really dislike them), and it comes with an apple (or chips/fruit bowl etc.) Paninis - crispy and cheese is melted, but I tend to not get their sandwiches anymore a lot of them have bacon in them and not enough greens or sprouts Service mostly good and friendly. I had lunch here today, broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl and an iced tea. Food was great, the delivery took a bit of time, but this location is extremely busy. I was okay with the timing because I'm on vacation, but business lunchers should prepare accordingly and either order ahead or pack a bag of patience with their laptops. Panera is overpriced but I love their Autumn Butternut Squash soup (so two stars for that). So I [used to] come here to pick up lunch once a week. Service is inconsistent for the amount of people they have milling around the counter. They cannot handle long lines. When I ask for preserves (aka jam) to eat with my croissant they said "THAT ITEM IS HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED." It's a bakery! REALLY? Jam has been discontinued? The big lady behind the food counter said she didn't have any back there and I had to go back to the bakery/cashier counter. And I was given this run around. So then I had to say something. I pointed to and outed the Hispanic guy in the yellow shirt that gave me grape jam last week behind the counter where you get your food and told her that HE gave me grape jam LAST WEEK. A minute later, I have my grape jam in hand and finally out the door. This is after I waited 10 minutes for my lunch to-go plus the 5 minutes for them to fess up they had jam. I thought about the energy to pick up lunch multiplied by minutes and the hourly rate I charge and thought to myself it would be better just to bring lunch no matter how great the soup is. This particular location could not support the current volume, so my order took an exorbitant amount of time for a sandwich and salad. Called to get assistance in placing order for Tuesday morning. I had been going in to get dozen bagel packages on regular days or sometimes Tuesday Specials to take to different offices for my clients. But, by the time I get there, the popular/common bagels are all wiped out. I tried to place the order online, but it only showed 3 kinds of Bagels. I called the store at the Amador plaza Dublin location. He had no idea as how to direct and assist me. He kept on repeating himself, as if I don't understand, to either call the customer service number (which he didn't know if they are open or not after 5 pm) or, to go in-person early in the morning. I kept on repeating myself stating that it is not possible for me to get there super early and I was told by their staff to place the order the evening before to assure I have more choices. I told him, I am sure the manager would know if you would transfer me to him. He responded, he is the manager. He said I would have to be on your computer to show you how, It can't be done remotely. I asked him if it is possible for me to call a little later if he can try to place an order himself to see if he can figure out how I can place the order with tomorrow's stock. Again, he told me to go in early morning. I finally had it and told him firmly, Sir as I mentioned earlier I am not able to do that early enough. And, He ended up hanging up on me. Really???!!! A manager should have the proper training as how to use the website and should never hang up on a customer. So wrong in every way! ugh. read more

I ordered my food on Friday, October 1st, 2021 at 7:35 pm on the Panera bread app, it said my ordered wouldn't be ready at 8:35 pm. My mom, children and I were only 7 minutes away, so we went over there and was there by 7:42, I wait until around 8:20 to go into the establishment. I go in, I'm thinking someone is going to ask me for my name and order, one person asked me what I was there for, I said pickup and they just said Ohk, didn't ask for my name or anything. I'm standing up there for a good 25 minutes, before someone comes up to ask for my name. He starts looking for my order, mind you, my order is over a $100, so, he asks for my name finally and asked was it an online, and I said yes. After searching, he then enlists someone else to come help him. After about 4 minutes, and them unable to find it, the woman who seemed to be the manager came out and legit looked me in the eyes and told me that SOMEONE HAD COME TO PICK UP MY DAMN ORDER. I was like how is that possible. She went on to change her story like 3 times, first she said they asked for it by my first name, then when I kept pressing her, she was like HE ASKED FOR YOUR FOOD SPECIFICALLY, and I was like impossible, then she went on to lie after I kept pressing her again, that they asked for my FOOD BY MY DAMN LAST NAME. I told her that wasn't possible, that no one knows my last name, she kept lying saying he said my last name. I told her, you may have misheard him, but that he didn't say my damn last name. She kept glossing over the fact that I just waited over a fucking hour for my food and to find out that she gave over a $100 worth of food to a stranger pissed me the fuck off!!!! I asked her, does she know what the person looked like, she gave this rude ass attitude, like oh no, we don't pay attention to all the people we give food to, too many people come in and out, mind you, she told me this dude came in like 20 minutes ago, it was 8:49, I had been in there since 8:20, and the fact that I was standing up there when you willing handed over my fucking food, without checking ID, and tell me you don't check ID, but you keep over $100 worth of food order in the back, you don't know what the fuck he looked like, but you knew it was a guy, and just giving this nonchalant, cavalier attitude like you really don't give a fuck, and telling me, well it will 30 minutes to remake it, and telling me technically my order wasn't supposed to be ready till 8:35 and it's 8:49 and me telling her I had been in there since 8:20, she made no sense. She didn't want to admit she fucked up!!!! Then after remaking it, she missed stuff, and then tried to pacify me with a Cherry and cheese pastry. The fact that they closed at 9, and you're telling me, someone who came in at 8:29 and picked up another person's order and you handed it over willingly and didn't look at the guy, but you knew it was a guy, bullshit!!!! I will never go back to this place. Not only that, but the sandwiches I ordered, in the process of them being remade, I'm told that the bread I originally ordered for my sandwich was no longer available, and I had to switch to another bread, because they had probably given the last of it to the random who picked up my order!!!! Next time have more courtesy when dealing with customers food, and just handing over food to anyone. Maybe start checking fucking IDs or their order through their phone or something!!!! read more

They sell breakfast to everyone until we get to the counter then they switch the menu board over to lunch. Long lines are never going to be frustrating if you are in Panera. You can order through your phone, pay for it, and one of the employees will deliver your food where you are seated comfortably. That's what I experienced when I visited this branch to meet up with friends during the weekend. It was convenient and allowed me to enjoy the company of my friends more. I love their Citrus Chicken Salad. So fresh and definitely one big healthy bowl. One of my favorites: Broccoli Cheese Soup. It's a must have! I tried their Pecan Roll and it was so bad for me, but I didn't care. LOL. It's a cinnamon roll with Pecans on top. You have to try it as I can't describe how delicious it was. We were stuck at a table with 4 of us staring into the blinding sun. Ummmm I love and hate this place at the same time. Love because I recently discovered the pick up for when craving junk food, and hate for the 5 lbs I've probably gained. Omg the pasta and mac and cheese is so good! I ordered that and like three cookies last time, hahaha. The baked goods are so so good and fresh, my favorites are the brownies (I feel like the kid eating cake in Matilda) and the kitchen sink cookie. Last time one cookie wasn't available so they gave me 2 more free, like I needed that - but I still ate them. The grilled cheese sandwiches are also bomb dignity - perfect order for a hangover as well, or lazy Saturday (or for a Sunday night dinner for me). The pickup is super easy on the app, and usually takes like 5-10 minutes, so freaking FAST! Minus one star because they need more variety in pasta dishes, they have like two. I got the Pick 2 option for lunch on a Saturday. I got half of a steak and arugula sandwich and a small mac and cheese. The sandwich is really good. The bread is soft in the middle, but has a crunchy crust. The arugula is fresh and adds a nice crunch. The steak is tender and seasoned well. I really enjoyed it! As for the mac and cheese, it's a decent and basic mac and cheese. Tastes good, but nothing special. Definitely fulfills your craving though! The noodles are big and the cheese sauce is very creamy and very cheesy. The order also came with a huge piece of bread, which was so good. It's crunchy on the outside but super soft on the inside. I am so completely disappointed in this place. I was expecting more! So, it's Wednesday night. I was going to hit up Pieology for dinner but the line was just ridiculous so I thought to drive around and go back. I ended up only going around the parking lot to see Panera and thought that I should finally try this place. Great thing was that there was plenty of parking. The place looks so nice and clean every time I walk by it. I'll try to keep it short. I ordered twice with two different women and both seemed to have an attitude. One was way worse than the other however. They forgot part of my order and when I mentioned it to one of them, they seemed pissed off at me. I was still courteous and said my please and thank you's but she just handed me the item and huffed. Okay, you don't want my business, fine. I won't be back! I will say there was a server that was totally awesome so this is where my second star came from. He was the only one on his game. The cashiers need some retraining or something. Not worth it, sorry! This review is solely based on the portions that Panera offers. Yesterday, for the first time, I ordered a large Mac & Cheese. Yet when I opened the container, it was only filled half way. Surprised I approached a familiar worker and asked if this was the correct portion for a Large Mac & Cheese. He said, "Absolutely!" The worker involved the manager and he explained: a small size cup consists of one bag and the large consists of two bags of mac & cheese. This felt misleading and I explained that if one bag equals a small size, that in my opinion two bags would be considered a medium and three bags a large. Martin the Manager then showed me the old "large" cups (which in reality is a medium size) and fit the half-filled large bowl of mac n cheese into the "old large bowl". Sadly Panera is being misleading with their serving size titles and overcharging the consumer based on these titles. read more

I had ordered sandwich and pasta for my two year old. When the order arrived. The only piece of avocado in the sandwich was not in the sandwich but outside on the plate as shown in the photo. My two year loved avocado and that is why bought this sandwich in the first place. When I called the waiter to show the mess on the plate. She came in saw and asked what the issue was. After I showed how the hot sandwich was set. She asked "that's it?!". Like this was not a big deal at all. I wouldn't mind at times if this was for me. But as a parent I wasn't able to take chance on the hygiene. I'm not sure how to assess her question but it showed how much they didn't care about customers or serving food right and with utmost hygiene. Had dinner here with the family the other night as we needed somewhere that didn't have a 20+ minute wait and was in between home and husband's commute. The bread offerings looked and were fantastic and for this aspect alone, we might come back. We were helped by a very nice woman, daughter ordered a soup/salad combo and husband and I split a sandwich and each has soup. All of the soup is very salty and definitely not homemade, but corporate and warmed up. The sandwich was fine though I didn't like the quality of some of the ingredients (not so ripe tomato and bacon that had been cooked either somewhere else or a long time before) but the bread was great. Daughter liked her salad and was glad she ordered it. We all decided we might come back for the bread, and possibly a sandwich sometime, but it won't be a place we seek out on purpose. read more

There's nothing I don't love about Panera. From my very first experience in a shop in Largo, Florida eons ago to the Torrance, CA spot, and everywhere in between, I love their food, coffee and fundamentals of business. Thank goodness one opened near me, here in Dublin! I'm not there as much as I'd like to be - have to pace myself. I've never had an issue with a front cashier person; always friendly and helpful though they seem to have a ridiculous turnover rate for whatever reason (I've only ever seen one girl there more than once). Lots of vegetarian options for me, breakfast or lunch. Always clean and the food has never disappointed. If I were a college student again you could bet that I'd have a laptop open, or even better a good book, and be hanging out here every night sipping coffee and checking out the abundant talent! :^) read more

I like to meet my "best bud" here for lunch, there are good choice selections for both of us to be happy. I like the half soup, or sandwich or salad combo. Sometimes I just can't make up my mind, ok....well that's a lot of the time. And this way I can have a big fatty "half " tuna sandwich (personal fav) and maybe their Fuji apple and pecan salad....yum! (which comes with a choice of chips or fruit, hehe ...of course gimme those kettle chips!) They also have lots of bread choices which is really great too. And then....if you want to be real bad...I had this decadent very chocolate brownie for dessert! OMG YUM...it was like cake really but who cares it was frosted with sprinkles and was Chocolate heaven....! Then my girlfriend and I just sat by the window on a rainy day and enjoyed our lunch and chatted and it was really nice (maybe meeting like we did at 1pm after the lunch crowd helped). The couple times we've been here it's been easy, and we've liked our food and the counter folks have been very cheerful and helpful with the menu board (if you have questions, which my girlfriend and I always do). After we'd been seated awhile when my girlfriend needed something (dressing for her sandwich) she was going to get up to the front, there happen to be a guy walking around cleaning up.
