This is a large Panera that is exceptionally clean. Its architecture is unique compared to other Panera's. The staff is super friendly. They were out of stock on several food items and the coffee was a little weak and burnt. The bathrooms were clean. It was nice to sit here and it was very spacious. read more

We had a last-minute need to have extra food delivered for unexpected guests staying over for Christmas morning. Unfortunately, we trusted DoorDash to deliver from this location. The driver picked up our order and disappeared with it. When we called, the driver claimed the order had been canceled and never picked it up. The app claimed the order was delivered. Panera said that the order had been picked up. DoorDash told us to deal with either the driver or the store to make it right. They wanted nothing to do with it on Christmas Eve and wasted an hour of our time to finally say so. We called the store, which was busy with so many similar requests. The manager made it right. They re-made the order and the manager delivered it to us himself. What a choice. What a wonderful holiday gesture. Panera was not at fault and they could have just refunded our order and deflected back to DoorDash. But they took care of the customer at their expense. So the hero of this story in front of a dozen guests that night was our local Panera and we shared our all-too-common stories about how DoorDash drivers "lose" orders and don't care to provide customer service. Our guests will be heading back over to this location tomorrow before they hit the turnpike for home. read more

First time visiting this location and probably the nicest and best Panera I've ever been to. Super modern store with really nice decor and it was clean! Remember when the Panera manager used to walk around and ask all the customers how the food and service was? They actually do that here! And the food was great! I was pleasantly surprised by coming here to eat on this day because it was a nice restaurant and good value. This will be the number one Harrisburg area Panera for me. read more

We have been in line for 20 minutes sitting in the drive throug. We had only one car infront of us and have been sitting at the window. This is not only unacceptable but just oversll poor customer service. This is not the first time this location has had poor service. The employe's are sitting around hanging out rather than working. It doesn't matter which Panera Bread we go to, the orders include almost the same thing every time. A strawberry smoothie. My youngest loves the strawberry smoothie from Panera Bread. I really like using the kiosks inside for when I order because it remembers my favorites list. Every Panera looks similar, not a ton of frills. The drink stations are nice because you can refill your drink before leaving. The open kitchen is nice because you can talk to a person in the event you have a question or issue. My food might not always be the best, but as long as the Strawberry Smoothie continues to be made the exact same way at every location, I will continue to give 5 stars because you made my kids day. read more

First time at this Panera bread and this one falls way short compared to others I've been to. Waited 50 minutes to get my order and it was completely incorrect. To their credit they gave me a full refund but honestly I would have preferred to have the typical Panera experience I'm used to as opposed to getting my money back. Ordered via kiosk, which went without any issue. I ordered a blueberry muffin with my meal, when I picked up my food...no blueberry muffin, if I hadn't asked it would have gone unmentioned. Food was tasty, but while sitting near the pick up area I was subjected to an employee who appeared upset by their language. The employee (she) was dropping f-bombs repeatedly. I love Panera Bread. Maybe a little biased since I used to work at a Panera during high school summer break, but at a different location. This location is brand new, extremely clean interior and cheerful staff. We got our usuals, I got a Greek Salad and kids got bread bowls - one broccoli cheddar and one tomato. I was a little worried because we arrived at 8:30, but this location is open until 9:30 so we had plenty of time to sit and eat. No one made us feel like we were those last minute diners who are an inconvenience. We ate fast anyway! The food was on point. Make sure to join the rewards program for a free cookie/meal now and then. They have plentiful parking and a drive through if you are in a rush. read more

This Panera was CLOSED. Drive-thru only. I had visited my parents on Labor Day & worked from their home on Tuesday morning. I drove over to Harrisburg since I have a fun work event over here on that Tuesday night and wanted to eat a healthy salad and WiFi at a Panera as I done before at various Panera locations. I first went to this location on High Pointe Road, and I was shocked that the door was locked and said drive-thru only. Then, I went to a second location on 4263 Union Deposit Road, and they were drive-thru only! Going from my parents' house to two Paneras, I needed to figure out where I was going to eat in an area I'm unfamiliar with where I could WiFi. I wasted an extra almost 30 minutes getting off the PA-441 exit, driving up to Union Deposit exit to discover that location was closed too. I ended up crossing the freeway and discovered McDonald's, and you could sit inside. As I had said before, I wanted to get a salad, and guess what? McDonald's doesn't have salads anymore. I had no idea. That's a whole another issue, but they were open, nice, & nuggets were good. But unfortunately, I ate unhealthy. Again, Panera's fault as I was going to have a salad and my free iced coffee (with my monthly subscription)! I was pressed for time as I was catching up on work and didn't have time to go to find a healthy salad. With the 2 Paneras in Harrisburg being closed (although there are others in the area), if I lived around here, I would cancel my Coffee Subscription immediately! read more

THIS is how a Panera store should be. Had lunch here yesterday. Just a little tangled with the parking area, narrow spaces. Placed a mobile order in the lot, then walked in. Greeted by manager, went to pick up area and food was READY! 2 minutes. Nothing was out of stock. Clean, tile floors instead of dirty carpet. Clean walls, rest rooms. Tables spaced apart, so you don't feel crowded. Bright lighting. Wide self service beverage bar, not overcrowded with people waiting. They even have a drive thru, which was busy, but efficient. Everyone working there seemed to be happy and laughing, And polite to each other. I kinda hope it stays a hidden gem, but wish them well. A big sign visible from the interstate nearby would swamp this place. It's perfect right now, thanksgiving weekend, 2022. Friendly staff and Excellent customer service! They helped me look up gluten free items to be sure I could eat without getting sick. I manually ordered on the kiosk and added a few things to my salad, not realizing one was "crispy carrots". I asked if they could look up the ingredients, and sadly found out they contained gluten. I had thought I clicked on cut or sliced carrots, so it was totally my mistake. But the staff volunteered to remake it for me without the crispy carrots, and I have to say it was delicious! So thankful they took the extra time to help me, especially after I made the error and ordered something I couldn't eat. Probably the worst Panera I've been to and and ordered from. Out of the past 3 or 4 times that I've ordered, they have not once got it right. From not adding my drinks to not giving me the right items. Definitely recommend ordering from or going to another location. read more

This is the second time I've gone to this location with the screens I try to order at do not work. I tried multiple others to order the food and had to deal with a rude employee who looked annoyed by the screens too. Today I go in and try again and the sandwiches are sold out. I don't know about the other locations, but I am appalled that this Panera has no recycling for the large plastic cold drink cups. Do they have no concern for the environment? This Panera location uses Door Dash for delivery. We never did receive our dinner order even after I spoke to delivery driver- 4 times -he couldn't find the Hampton Inn 4 story building on Union Deposit. And don't bother calling the Panera for manager support even though the message tells you if your need is urgent the manager will be with you even in busy rush hour-- 8 calls no answer until I came back from getting my grandchildren dinner at 7:50 someone answered the phone and refunded my money, I hope. Of course by then the evening swim with my grands was not happening because the hotel pool closed at 8pm really disappointed! read more

Don't spend the extra money to get avocados on your sandwich, they may just not put it on your sandwich. I am not sure why it was missing - the app didn't say the item was unavailable. I think it's unfair to make customers pay for wrong orders or items missing. To management - there needs to be more quality control. read more

I ordered lunch for myself and some friends thru the app on 4/10/2020. I went picked it up curbside. When I got best to work and opened up the order I had no soup in my pick 2. So I called over spoke with the manager explained what happened and he said that since it was their mistake he would send out 2 coupons to my house to make up for it. I still 2 months later have not received anything in the mail from them. I feel like by now I should have something especially since it wasn't the first issue that I had. read more
