Food taste like chain panera food, but the seevice is terrible! They forget chips, bread, and add-ons in the food. The workers look at you crazy if you ask about those problems, and are quiet blantenly rude. They need to do their job right the first time, which they dont, then you ask about these missing parts of your meal and look at you like you speak a different language and are botheref to go out of their way to fix their mistakes! I am boycotting Panera Bread since they have now quit carrying Strawberry Poppyseed Salad...in the summer when it is in season. Why? Because they are apparently too lazy to cut up fresh strawberries. Worst location of Panera in Kansas City. Have waited 50 minutes in the drive through to get a wrong order and cold food. Staff says they never have enough people working. Don't bother customizing an order because they won't pay attention to the details. If you call customer service line to report it, they just give you gift cards and don't take care of the issue. No issues, until they forgot my bread bowl so I had to stand inside for 10 extra minutes to wait for the bread bowl and they filled my drink to the brim brim, so when driving it was spilling everywhere. Coming through town. Used Uber eats. Ordered via the app. App is very limited - you cannot add a note or give special instructions. Call them specifically for adding bacon to Mac and cheese. Description of soups indicate bread bowel. Order showed up incorrect and no bread bowl. Called them, they were out of bowl's. Would have been nice to have notified customer and or reduced the cost. With rush charges, and delivery charges it is low value, low quality for high price. And if I had to bet, what they charge and call a "bowl" of soup is not the same as the bowl the restaurant. It is not like a a cup - and probably because they were out of to go bowls or they are just ripping off customers. read more

Food was average and it was one of my daughters go to places after a sports event. Took us 42 minutes to get a You Pick 2 ( Caesar salad and Bacon Turkey Bravo). Lettuce on the sandwich should have been thrown out and a piece without brown on the middle of the leaf would have been better. Ambiance was below average cause so many people were mad about the wait. Every once in awhile, the manger would shout 30 minutes and nobody had a clue what he meant. Eventually he said 30-40 minutes FOR FOOD ORDERS!! He mahouts have been telling everyone walking in so they knew ahead of time. People were still ordering from the kiosk instead of at the counter and had no idea. I guess he was trying to get his stores numbers up. The service here is always wonderful, and they are always sure that they have your order just how you want it. The food is always hot and packaged neatly, and ready to go by the time I come to pick it up. Not to mention the people that work here are always very kind and friendly. Sad. I believe Panera overall has issues in finding adequate management to run their nice "idea" cafeterias. I find this at almost all Panera Bread restaurants. It's a shame. This Panera, however, is perhaps the nastiest one. Don't know if it's because it's a the Legends or not. Each and every time I come here this Panera has a nasty restroom, and yet they concern themselves with cleaning the restaurant carpet (can't understand why restaurants have carpet to begin with) when their are still people eating nearby. Not a good idea. I did tell one girl that was cleaning about the restroom and she was kind enough to go and address the issue. read more

Without question, this was the worst dining experience I've ever encountered today at this Legends Panera. We were overcharged, the chicken on the salad was not even edible due to gristle and fat, and we waited 45 minutes to even get our food. The entire place was chaotic. There were probably 20 people waiting for their food the entire time we were there. I may never eat at any Panera again just because this experience was so distasteful. Beware. Pros: Amazing customer service. The staff members I've encountered are all super amazing and very helpful when I'm stuck on what I want to eat for lunch/dinner! Another plus is that the food is always delicious! No complaints on those two end. Cons: Wait time. I work at a nearby school and sometimes I go there for lunch. When I'm in a rush, I now know to avoid this place. Not that it is lacking in taste or customer service, it is just busy during lunch times and there is no self-service ordering. One thing I can try to do is order online instead - so I should add another star because it is partly my fault however, if you are in a hurry avoid it during busy times. read more

This Panera really struggles to keep up with what is normally a very good chain. If you order take out (you can't order curbside because they do not have that service), be sure you inspect your order before you leave. Too many times my order is inaccurate. Recently, they made me a salad that wasn't even close to anything on their menu. I tend to give a lot of chances with restaurants, but this one really struggles with accuracy and service. I'll be going to a different location as Panera is generally an excellent choice. read more

Here it was, the Sunday before Christmas and right after church, but there was ONE cashier for all the people in the line. This restaurant was horribly mismanaged for the day and time of year! I love this Panera bread and I go to this one cause it's closer than going to the one that's on Metcalf. I was w/ my grandpa and the girl at the counter got my order, and his order wrong. I told her that I waned green tea and she just plop the cup down on the counter after we paid for our order. (Cause they fill it up for you as you order) Then I'm sending up there by the juice bar like an idiot and then she asked "what's wrong?" I said I wanted a green tea and she's like "oh you said ice tea." Luckily the manger was standing there and got me what I wanted. Then when our pagers were going off so we went to go get our food my grandpa got a" pick two" and he looked and there was two soup.
