Panera Bread is a chain restaurant, but it is a good chain restaurant. They range from healthy food to healthy-ish food. Both times I came here I ordered the "you pick two" option which lets you pair any side with your choice of sandwich. Both times the sandwiches and soups were great. They give you buzzer thing in which it detects the table you're sitting at which then notifies the server where to bring the food to. Afterwards, you clean up after yourself. Panera Bread is a no fuss zone and I bet they hardly earn any tips so please people clean up after yourselves. Though a meal at Panera costs about 10$ for half of a sandwich and a soup, it is a filling meal but one that will only happen when I get to splurge for lunch or have my meal paid for. Panera has taken out all of their healthy drink options. They do not offer sugar free cold drinks other than black tea. No options for diabetics or those of us avoiding sugar and chemicals. read more

Two years ago we used to eat at Panera at least once a week. Their food became inconsistent, Both how it was presented and the portion size. They kept changing the ingredients on foods that we were familiar with until the food became less than edible. Their ham sandwiches, which used to be large and magnificent, are now small and terrible. The ham is fatty, they no longer provide the tomato and red onion. Where was the manager? Today at around 5:30, huge wait because there was only one cashier who displayed no knowledge of customer service allowing people to walk in and cut the line knowing full well there were people standing in line.(As well as me) Patrons had to bring this to her attention. There was no apology and her affect frankly was flat. There were employees walking around in twos giggling when they should've been making an attempt to make things go smoothly. I have been wanting to eat at this Panera Bread for awhile as I ate at the one in Woodland Hills some time ago and it was good. First, I went for curbside pickup during covid-19. The order was ready when I arrived however, halfway home, I realized they forget the chips so I had to go back for them. I loved the tomato soup and my husband loved the corn chowder. Unfortunately his steak sandwich was horrible. The bread was very hard and hardly any meat and dry. The Greek salad was a joke with hardly any olives and very little cheese. We have always gone to Panera ever since it opened. I love the cafe style of it and the jazz music they play! This morning I had the turkey sausage and potato soufflé and it was to die for! I though to support the business and pick up their Tuesday bagel special, I ordered online and picked them up. Disappointing is the only way to describe my experience. The bagels were hard as rocks, at least 2 to 3 days old and small. We tried to toast them and it made them even harder, did not think that was possible. We threw them in the trash. I reached out to send corporate an e mail but the online portal was not working. I do visit Panera once a week.. now maybe once every 2-3weeks. Portions are never the same. You get 1/2 of bowl of soup.. salad only half the lettuce as normal! Bread side is always different sizes. Sandwiches are never ever the same size. if 2 of us order the same salad, soup, sandwiches we always have different portions. Bathrooms never clean! Can we dust the tp dispenser. Tables///. Oh my.. never cleaned off. Seats need to be cleaned off too. People drop food, feet, etc.. take the rag and clean table and clean seats. They are soooooooo busy.. they can afford to hire 1 person to go around and clean tables, chairs, booths, bathrooms, doors, patio,and floors. Bread crumbs show up on your dark carpet. Kiosk- needs upgrading! Every-time I use it, i can't customize my order. Only lets certain areas be customized! So my order is never what I want! I also want a receipt at the kiosk! So i can check my order? It's pointless to go to kiosk and then have to go talk to someone behind counter minutes after cause my order is wrong!! I've always enjoyed Panera. They have delicious soups and good salads. Their sandwiches have never really been good in my opinion, but I know that, so I just order something else. I hadn't been to the one in La Quinta for a couple of years and I was so disappointed when I tried it this week. It was filthy and the staff was not at all helpful. First off, I love coming here for lunch. But when I was at lunch yesterday, an experience I had compelled me to write this review. During our meal, I believe my 3 year old daughter got a small piece of a chip lodged in her throat. At first I thought she was choking but then she began gagging and threw up. One of the staff, Rosa, happened to see and was at our side immediately to help. She made my daughter (and myself) feel better. Rosa was so sweet, so kind, so professional, and so caring. When I asked her if I could leave a review for her, she declined. And when I tried to tip her, she also declined. What a sweet, humble woman who assisted us out of the goodness of her heart! I left a review on Panera's website and I'm leaving one here, in hopes her manager sees one of them. Rosa is excellent and I hope you acknowledge her as such! I will never forget her. read more

Ordered food. It was delivered to wrong address. When delivery guy realized it was wrong address he hung up on me. When I tried him back he pretended he had no idea who I was. I had to go to the store to pickup my food. The manager was nice but when I asked to have the delivery charge removed he said he couldn't.
