Second time I have gone to this Panera Bread both times I have gone with my boyfriend. Both get pink two meals, very quick and easy ordering and getting the actual food. The tables are clean and always have tables available. The workers are always sweet.

i honestly don't expect much from a chain but dang this is the messiest sammich i've ever received, it looks like they just threw cheese and peppers all over the place, also we got a bread bowl and the serving of chili was so small it didn't even fill the bread bowl :/

    Raw Orange Scone

First I gotta say we have recently gone back to Panera after years of not going because I thought it was just not that good. We have gone a couple times recently for lunch/dinner options and were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our food. I had the new spicy chicken and it's honestly bomb. But this review isn't based on that. This review is based on the breakfast I got this morning. I decided to go with the bacon egg and cheese on croissant cause that's right up my alley. 2/10 it was bland, plastic like texture probably from the cheese, and flat croissant that was lukewarm at best. 100% would never order it again. I also went with an orange scone and the entire center was raw. I have gotten a couple lately and they've all been soooo good. The person who made them, the person who packaged it, no one noticed they were COMPLETELY RAW?! It's just lazy and zero communication nor care. Just when Panera was getting back on my hood side they go and blow it horribly.

Very good bread here. Mac and cheese is always amazing and broccoli cheddar bread bowl was very good. The citrus punch juice was my favorite and I recommend.

Then the soups were fantastic, broth was rich and I loved the tendon! I do wish there was an option for brisket and tendon because that were the two I was debating over. My husband got the dumpling soup which was also super loaded. Highly recommend, we stopped by again on our following Seattle trip because it was that good! It was located in a dimly lit strip mall, the only bright store was a boba tea store next door. When we entered there was a weather Matt propping open the second door. However, the edges were raised causing a fall risk. We were greeted by one staff member (didn't see any other one in the front). She pointed us to the corner where the high chairs were located (since we were with our toddler). We ended up sitting in the front side alcove to prevent our kiddo from running a muck. The staff rolled her eyes at us. We ordered the brisket bone soup, seafood soup, mandu and the seafood pancake. The pancake was thick and unevenly cooked. There were cold spots in the pancakes. The Mandus were steaming hot same with our soups. We were used to multiple side dishes with our means but we only got two types of kimchis. The ambience felt more like a karaoke bar than a restaurant. The water cups were dirty and the food was nothing special. Would not consider this kid friendly since the menu was limited and even though there was high chairs there was no other accommodations for young families. The service was typical Korean restaurant. Food delivered and with instruction. Was disappointed they charged us for to go containers without telling us. Maybe this is something common in Lakewood, we're not from around here so maybe we missed the memo. $0.25 a container? Would've brought my own. Overall consistent with other Korean eatery, prices more than other Asian delicacies. Service on par with past experiences. Parking sketchy but plenty of space, ambience was clubby not family oriented. Cleanliness was "ok" Food flavor was as expected, nothing to recommend as a must try.

If you had grown up in this part of Pierce County, you are familiar with the enormous changes. However, this is one restaurant that has stayed with the times. Locals know, this is the place to start with, an original - Ho Soon Yi. Where the place can easily be swallowed up by the hustle and bustle of businesses on a very busy city street, this casual sit-down Korean restaurant has the everyday favorites you are familiar with. Where many Korean American establishments focus on the BBQ aspect, Ho Soon Yi focuses and masters other parts Korean cuisine. Specifically the soups!! And they are tasty!! Definitely the tofu soups are there, but there are appetizers, fried rice, and the traditional small side dishes are also served. My friend and I ordered the savory seafood pancake as the appetizer. As for soups, I ordered the Pork Tofu Soup and it was great! Definitely satisfying, and I didn't miss the BBQ one bit. Yes, the do have kalbi and bulgogi (beef, pork and seafood) but that is for another time. There are definitely plenty dishes to try. And all are tasty. You won't be disappointed. Come see an original before seeing the others. See Ho Soon Yi... soon!

There were only a few tables inside but almost half of them were already occupied with several customers. I was quickly seated for a table of 1. The tables are fairly close together and the noise level is low enough to hear conversations around me. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I did hear other customers comment at their tables that the food here is good. There's a few ajummas working here, so service was straightforward. I ordered the kalbi dolsot bibimbap, which seemed inexpensive and came with some complementary sides, and they were nice enough to cut my kalbi into bite-sized pieces for me. I would say, if I can finish my food in one sitting at a restaurant, I am either really hungry, satisfied, or both. In this case, it was both! This is my first dolsot bibimbap after moving to Washington recently, and I am glad it did not disappoint.

Prices were high, that's fine considering how things are right now. But where I draw the line is forcing me to change my tip amount in front of my family because I believed that tips should be used as a reward system for above and beyond service. I tipped a good 10%. But because of my family size and which wasn't stated anywhere on the menu or the facility, I was embarrassed in front of my family and asked to raise it to a minimum of 15%. A shame that this wasn't just reflected in the already high menu prices. Pay your employees instead of having them resort to such atrocious aggressive tactics and begging. I previously refused to come back. But was only here due to a Mother's day request. I will now aggressively push back to anyone that even recommends this restaurant.
