Panera - Chipotle Chicken & Bacon Flatbread Pizza
    Michael H.

Have been wondering about the new flatbread pizzas. Got 3 of them to try, here's my take: Pepperoni - The pep I thought was too salty, and lacked spice. Cheese was ok. Sauce was a strange super smooth consistancy and also lacked flavor. Four Cheese - Favorite out of the 3, interesting blend of cheeses, along with the garlic cream sauce. Chipotle Chicken & Bacon - looks the best, but was also bland. I won't get these again, think with some tweaking they could be a lot better. Also, they all had a strange burnt taste like when you burn something in the toaster and the smoke gets into the food. Hard to describe.

Curbside and delivery from Panera has made my life so much easier! Lately, I've been on a Turkey sandwich kick. There's just something about the spicy mustard and basil that for me just goes together. The customization of sandwiches is what I like best. One thing they should add is a create your own salad/sandwich option. I will say today's delivery lunch was rather expensive. The food is pretty decent and today was packaged perfectly. Both salads that my mother and brother got looked pretty good. Overall, I do recommend this place.

First I want to say Panera has always been a solid choice for a good meal but lately no. I am very very disappointed with the quality or lack of quality in my food yesterday, August 23rd. For one, they were out of baguettes, crotons, and apparently parmesan cheese. My chicken Caesar was awful. Just basically lettuce and dressing. When I looked in bag - told the employee there was no chicken on my salad, he apologized and put cold meat in a cup and off I went. I am sorry but for $12, I got 2 cups of romaine and some sad chicken. We spent over $35 and I won't embarrass the restaurant anymore as the other items weren't the quality I expected from Panera in Lockport, NY. There are a million choices out there, and I won't be back anytime soon. I understand the lack of employee crisis but come on - if you don't have parmesan then deduct from my price.

A picture is worth a thousand words. I really don't know why I keep trying to give Lockport Panera a chance.

I have always loved Panera, and still do! They have the best Mac and cheese, so creamy. I love their avocado and egg white breakfast sandwich, I feel healthy eating it. Their cold chai tea isn't very food unfortunately but a lot of their coffees are good. I recently had the soba noodle bowl with edamame and i was disappointed. Barely any broth and not the best flavor. Not a repeat. I will stick to their sandwiches, specifically the chicken salad, yummm. I had no issues with customer service at the Lockport location.

One is a bowl and the other is a cup but there is more soup in the cup?! Does not make sense!

Came here again ONLY because I was sick and needed some chicken noodle soup. The floor was hella gross near the prep station. Then after my camera noise went off while I was snapping shots they decided to stop being lazy and started cleaning it. Counter person forgot my muffin that I paid for so I had to go back and correct that. My date ordered two soups one a bowl one a cup. For some reason the cup looked bigger. But yeah this place is gross and my tip is don't come here but if you do just get a cup! ***update*** GUYS~ cant make this stuff up, some crazy yelp person made a fake account and started harassing me over the photos I posted. Part of their accusation suggested the violation is NOT a law so therefore I have updated official documentation to support that it is a health code violation!!!! BY LAW

Who doesn't like bread. They make it warm and fresh everyday. Every kind imaginable. It's like Wonka Land for adults. Bagels, Muffins, Pastries, and Loafs and Loafs of bread. I just like to walk in and sniff. It's all the smells my house never knew growing up. My mom was the mom that cracked open a bag of oreos and said "desserts ready" ya know, after she out did herself with heating up a can of Chef Boy R Dee. I digress.... Panera, they also serve Soup and Sandwiches for lunch. Actually they have panini's and they are killer. So good on a cold snowy day. I love that they have a fireplace and big cozy chairs to flop into. It's typically a pretty quite place if you need to find a place of solace. Definitely one of my fav's.

Never had a bad experience at Panera. Service is usually fast depending on day of week/time of day you go. Friendly staff. I usually get the pick 2 with mac and cheese and half grilled cheese usually substituted with different bread and cheese. Nice reward perks with the app and receiver rewards all the time. Only downfall is the price

Receipt of what I was supposed to have received. And no one signed the receipt like they should have.

Broccoli Cheddar soup is always great. Great warm me up dish. Wish it was cheaper and that the table and chairs weren't so crowded.

Love this Panera; only problem is the parking is a little poor, but they're well worth it. Sourdough loaves are always delish here!!

Found Gypsy Kitchen on Transit Road, I mean to make a habit of going there often from here on out. The coffee is legit. They clearly know what they're doing with espresso. Also grabbed a bite to eat -- food is fresh, not an afterthought. The space is comfortable without being pretentious. Good seating, good light, not loud. I've worked remotely from here, met up with people, and just sat solo -- all work. Free wifi, easy parking, the whole thing. Open Tuesday through Saturday which works fine for me. Staff is friendly every single time, remembers regulars, doesn't rush you out. If you're in Lockport, Niagara Falls, or anywhere in WNY and searching for a local coffee shop that's actually worth it -- this is the answer. Not a chain, not a compromise. Just really good coffee in a spot that feels like it belongs to the neighborhood. One of the better finds in Western New York honestly.

You walk in and you are transformed into an adorable little coffee shop/cafe! The decor is super unique, they have different areas with different decorations. I wish I would have gotten more pictures. They have a bakery case, multiple options. They have loose leaf tea as well as espresso drinks. I really liked the coffee options. We split a sandwich and got the bean side. Very good. Clean individual bathrooms. Plenty of parking and seating. Kind service.

I had lasagna- the noodles were to al dente making it chewy, cook them a few minutes longer, the food temp was warm at best. I ordered a meatball on the side, it literally fell apart when I cut into it, it should be firm and ease up on the oregano. Your sauce was very good, the fresh bread wonderful. My husband had the jumbo stuffed shells and had to request more sauce, but he enjoyed them. The French onion soup was excellent, problem here is our entree showed up before we finished, we felt rushed and couldn't enjoy it the way we would've liked. There was a great dessert selection. I had the brownie sundae and hubby had the Italian cream cake, both were very good The server was very friendly and accommodating. Her name escapes me, but we were at table #3 on New Year's eve, which was why we didn't send any food back for correction. It was very busy. The restaurant ambiance was nice, not overly noisy considering how busy they were. I might suggest a less busy time to go to this restaurant. I feel they might have been overwhelmed with the amount of guests. We have been here a few times and the food seems like it tasted better during those visits. The price of our meal was what you would expect from a mid scale restaurant including drinks and dessert.

We have dined in but that was years ago. So this review is strictly about their food and take out service. They have a separate entrance for those ordering takeout. More than 4-5 people waiting would make the space cramped. On certain days it's cramped around dinner time but it's worth it!! The main stay staff in the takeout area is Emma. She is so nice. Always a smile on her face and happiness in her voice. Great service with a smile. Now the food. We have 3 go to meals and as many go to deserts. They have a monday pasta special which we frequently enjoy. There 3 choices all at cost of $9.99 each. Good sized portions. 2 orders would comfortably feed 3. Add a meatball or sausage with sauce if you're a carnivore like me. Next we have their assorted sub. Quality meats on good bread with fresh lettuce tomato and onion. Finally there is our favorite entree, Chicken Capri. Two breaded chicken breasts over a bed of thin spaghetti in a lemon butter garlic sauce. Pair that with the complimentary bread and your choice of soup or salad and you are set!! One entree will definitely fill two bellies and, you will be full. They have a dessert display with individually packaged slices of a variety of cakes and pies. Our go to's are the homemade apple crumb pie, carrot cake, and their chocolate brownie. Mmmmm mmmm! If you're like me, be sure you have enough milk to enjoy these wonderful sweets! That's it. Village eatery is a great place for those nights you don't wanna cook yet, want a nice homemade meal.
