    Another horrible salad

Food, horribly prepared salads, had hardly any salad dressing. The whole restaurant needs to be renovated, is dirty, badly kept and the chairs, have no cushion left on them. We will not be coming back and neither should you

I ordered a pick two: Mediterranean Vegetable Sandwich and Tomato soup. This is what I ordered: French Baguette, sharp cheddar cheese, sweet cherry peppers, sliced red onions, sliced tomatoes. Below is what I got: (The soup wasn't bad! Cold, but not bad)

    Broccoli cheddar soup sourdough bowl
    Andrea D.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is so good. I got the cheddar and broccoli sourdough bowl and my friend got the broccoli man and cheese. The kids loved the broccoli mac and cheese. My bowl was almost gone, it is so filling. My daughter loved her cookie that was in the shape of a mitten with icing on it. My only thing that I can say that needs to be worked on was the cleanliness of the place. The tables, floors, and chairs were dirty, especially the high chairs.

OVERpriced hospital food. Ordered a chicken sandwich & basically got a few pieces of chicken & 2 pieces of bread. Literally the saddest thing ive ever seen(see pic) soup there is ok but that just entails opening a can. Over 70 dollars for a few sandwiches & a couple cups of soup. If you eat here you either hate food or hate yourself or both. Zero stars not an option.

    Baja bowl

I love the baja bowl from Panera... however, time and time again, this specific location gives me a pathetically small amount of food. This photo shows how much food I got (I had mixed it up but had not taken a bite). For almost $11, this is ridiculous. I finished it in about 10 small bites. I was still very hungry when I finished.

Panini was a little too toasty this time

7-10+ years ago, Panera Bread was one of my favorite fast food restaurants. However, I feel like the chain as a whole has decreased quality and increased prices in the time since. Fortunately, I've never had an issue with the service--I'd say overall, the staff in Middletown is always friendly and accommodating. This location is very hit or miss when it comes to food quality and accuracy, though. I order pickup often and I'd say about two thirds of the time it's good, and the rest...eh. My most recent visit: the sandwich was burned and the soup was cold. Luckily the order was correct, but sometimes we'll be missing an item or it's not accurately to order (very reminiscent of McDonald's and the like). And of course, none of this justifies the outrageous pricing. Ten bucks for a burnt sandwich and cold soup kinda makes me a little jaded. Other example: why on earth is a soda $2.29? Do they have a magical Coca-Cola fairy who sprinkles gold pixie dust all over the dispensers? If Panera is great at anything, it's identifying the kinds of meals the masses are after--and nickel and diming them in the process.

Vegan Lentil Quinoa Broth bowl with Mediterranean veggie sandwich minus cheese
    Stacy R.

Plant base review - I was visiting home in Louisville for a few days and I'll admit, had a hard time finding options to eat. Where I currently live Vegan options are everywhere but the many restaraunts I visited in Louisville, my options were tough. Even if I removed the meat, there would still be dairy in almost everything being hard to eliminate. The family went to Panera for a quick lunch and I was THRILLED when I saw a vegan menu item. It was the Vegan Lentil Quinoa in a vegetable broth. When I placed my ordered, the sweet cashier suggested adding half the Mediterranean veggie sandwich (minus the cheese) and it was so good. The broth bowl and sandwhich was so delicious. It was one of my top meals while visiting as it allowed me an option besides a salad. They both had great flavor so thank you Panera for offering this dish!

We were in the area at lunchtime and decided that everyone wanted soup so we chose to eat here. I could not believe how busy they were in the middle of the week. We all ordered the soup in a bread bowl. It was fresh, hot and delicious. We got our meals really quick and enjoyed the endless drink bar. For an extra $.99 they let you add a desert, Good location, good variety of choices and good food. Plus they accept Apple Pay. We will return here for sure.

Like chicken salad, with the summer corn soup.

It's the Little Yellow House that is so quaint. The Owner is Susan Woodward, and she is such a hard worker! Donna, our Server was fantastic! She answered every question, knew everything about every sandwich, every soup and every dessert. She had the fastest assistants that brought us our drinks and kept our glasses filled and delivered our food. Their menu is very well laid out and full of the most amazing lunches. I didn't need to go past the Hot Brown! My husband and I both ordered Hot Browns. This is our very favorite item! It was delicious. There was a lot of tender turkey, covered with the best tasting Mornay Sauce and topped with beautiful tomatoes. I'm sorry there wasn't enough room to get up and take pictures of everyone's food. I did get a picture of our Hot Brown and our friend's Meatloaf and Chili. You'll just need to stop by and have hunch with them. And don't forget to check out their desserts. They have cake slices, pie slices, strawberry rolls and Cheesecake. Since it was 3/14, Pi Day, their Key Lime Pies were very popular. I posted the 4 pages of the menu for you to look over.

A little difficult to find on my first pass by the strip mall, but worth the effort to locate for my first visit and certain it'll be fine for future trips. 5 stars because we had Georgie as our server. He was the sweetest, kindest, most patient waitstaff that I've been fortunate to meet in a long, long time. He answered all of our questions, made certain everything was ordered just as we requested, checked in on us, and had a genuine smile and gentle nature that was disarmingly epic. I would seriously revisit this restaurant in the future if I ever need a mood boost. The food was delicious -- appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Sample app dish included spring rolls, potstickers, crab rangoons and a few other items. Fellow diners ordered entrees of shrimp pad Thai, ginger wok chicken fried rice, and I selected R2 basil chicken fried rice. We each took over 1/2 of our food home because it was A LOT. Most of us selected spice level 3 of medium (levels are 1 none to 5 Thai hot) and it was perfect for my personal palate. It tingled a tiny bit, gave me a few little sniffles, but I could still feel my lips and tongue and didn't have any stomach upset. Goldilocks -- just right. I would order my entree again and again. It was loaded with vegetables (carrots, onions, zucchini), crispy and aromatic floral Thai basil leaves, and tender melt-in-your-mouth morsels of chicken breast. Two of my fellow diners ordered desserts of sticky rice and mango sticky rice. I was too full to try even a bite, but they were raving about it with a vengeance. Looking forward to visiting here again!
