I come here all the time. Usually it's for my sip club. every once in a while, I may dine in or go through the drive-through for a sweet treat, lunch or quick bite after a long day. Yesterday was a special day because my nephew was visiting after his flight was canceled. We initially stopped at the Panera in La Grange, but they didn't have any bread bowls. I sat there and placed my order for this location, so it would be ready when we arrived. Picked up the order through the drive-through and check for the soup. Saw the contains the soup and headed home. Arrived home and realized that we had two bread bowls, but no chicken noodle soup. I called the store to no avail as they didn't close for an hour. No one answered the phone after ringing it hung up. It was too late to drive back to the Panera before they closed with the weather and all of the traffic signals that were out. It was also too late to get some what healthy prepared food from anywhere else. My nephew ended up eating part of the bread bowl and drinking the blackberry hibiscus tea. I gave Panera a call back this morning. I spoke with Jessica. She was very apologetic and refunded my card for the mistake. She also mentioned that Panera had problems with their phone line after the storm. I honestly appreciated that she made me whole and remained professional. read more

This spot is nice! Nice lunchtime spot. Plenty of seating. It's clean and organized. Not much communication with staff because I ordered Quick pick but not so quick they were behind about 7 minutes but they did email to let me know. That Chicken Asiago sandwich is delicious just enough of everything on it! That green goddess was hitting right. I dont like dry sandwiches! I also ordered harvest salad. This lunch was perfect. My CSR was Kristina B who was patient and ensured my meticulous order was correct and complete. I return multiple times for the tasty entrées. I don't get all the negative reviews here, I come here a few times a week. The staff is super friendly and I never had any problems with my food. My only problem would be the price but that's not the locations fault. I guess the only complaint I have is sometimes the food does come out as advertised. But it's always good and so is the quality. I am a regular at this place and I usually give the food, service and franchise five stars! However my experience at this specific location was very disturbing. I was visiting my girlfriend in Chicago and at this specific location we had a very odd experience when ordering the same sandwich I get almost everyday. I get the chipotle avocado sandwich and it is always my go to especially for breakfast. It's the same sandwich they serve for lunch but with egg in it. So delicious!! My girlfriend picked up two of those sandwiches at the drive through and brought the food back to her home where I was. It was close. As soon as I started eating my sandwich something was off. I ignored it but as I continued eating it I then had to look inside the sandwich. Shockingly I noticed a pink crushed up substance spread on the egg. See pic. Almost like a crushed pill. With some in my mouth still... I swallowed it and immediately felt that it was chalky. I knew it wasn't an ingredient from this sandwich and stopped eating it. My girlfriend didn't notice any in hers but regardless she stopped eating when she saw mine. Sick to our stomachs, we went right back to the location and asked for the manager. As odd and frustrating as it was finding pink stuff inside my sandwich we were respectful. As soon as we expressed what had happened, showing the manager the pink stuff, he was utterly speechless. He instantly said "I don't know what that is." Then said "but I was back in the kitchen the whole time that order was being made." With that being the first thing he said, it almost seemed like he was accusing us of putting it in there ourselves. No true apology. We got a refund for both sandwiches but it all was unsettling, sketchy, strange and most of all disappointing. My first visit to this location I received the best crossaint, egg, cheese, and sausage sandwich. The croissant was toasted just right. The egg was fresh. The sandwich was sooo delicious. I actually had told others how good the sandwiches were and told them to go buy one. My mom and I had be craving another one for a couple of weeks. On a snowy morning I went back and to say the least we both were very, very disappointed. The crossaint was much smaller and burnt. The egg was very dry . Perhaps it was reheated. The sausage had the same great taste. The only reason rated 2 stars because sausage and the cashier. She was pleasant. I must learn to check my food before leaving food establishments. Food has always been fresh and good but pricey. Service has improved from my review a few years ago. Tonight I returned home with my soup and sandwich finding that I received a half sandwich although I had ordered and was charged for a full sandwich. There also were no napkins with the order even though it is on a store order checklist attached to the take out bag. Do Better! You can not charge the prices you do for your food product and deliver half of it and not provide napkins with a take out order . Disappointing! read more

Get the front cashier some help. One shouldn't have to wait 15 minutes for a bagel. There were problems with the whole order; a few were discovered after getting home. I was at this location a couple of weeks ago on 95th and Pulaski in Evergreen Park and I had asked for extra chicken on my chicken Frontaga sandwich. I definitely got extra chicken. I was very pleased.. Today I was reminded why I asked for extra chicken because there's barely any on the regular sandwich. I did request to have my sauce changed from what they usually use to a pesto. It was absolutely delicious and gave the sandwich a whole new twist. I was greeted by a grumpy lady at the cash register. She just looked and sounded like she wasn't in the mood to be here today. But the gentleman checking the to go bags was incredibly helpful and kind and offered to carry my food to my table for me being that I have a broken arm. Sandra needs to be retrained on what it means to work in customer service. She had a bad disposition throughout our whole interaction and seemed to be frustrated when I asked to use my rewards number. I understand it's hard some days getting into work, but you've got to know when to turn it on and turn it off. I have visited this Panera location on a regular basis, and overall, I have had a pleasant experience here. Our food has been ordered online, and its picked-up curbside. It's always ready at the expected time, and the service has been quick. My sandwich of choice is the Roasted Turkey & Avocado Blt. It costs about $8.59. This sandwich has roasted turkey, applewood-smoked bacon, emerald green lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, avocado, mayo, salt, and pepper on Country Rustic Sourdough bread. It is always made well. I tell them to go heavy on all of the toppings on my sandwich. Online you can click the "go heavy" button! When their sandwiches are skimpy, I simply call the manger and ask them to make them over. Panera Sandwiches are too costly to be skimpy with ingredients. So definetly speak up when needed! read more

This is a filthy location. Paper all over the floors, tables not cleared, and the drink area - the iced tea vat was removed and sitting on its side on the counter with spilled drink sticking all over the floor, with another vat of green tea without a cover sitting in the open with patrons reaching over it for napkins and cups as if someone forgot to put it back on the drink line. I have never experienced service like I had today at any Panera location, EVER! I placed an online order and went in to pick it up. Apparently my order was ready and had been sitting the whole 20 minutes I was waiting-- keep this in mind. I then go to give the gentleman who was giving out orders my name again because I've never in my life had to wait 20+ minutes for one bowl of soup. Again, I made my order online, 10 minutes prior to arriving and I see that the individuals who ordered in store are receiving their orders before me, so I give the gentleman my name again. By this time, he seems a bit agitated that I'm asking again but he asks the women serving the food to go look in a different area and guess what she emerges from the back with-- you guessed it, my now lukewarm soup. Now that my order is on the counter, I ask the gentleman if he could hand it to me (where the pickup orders are placed and is handed to you by an employee) he ignores me and moves on to help another customer. I ask again when he's done with said customer and once again I'm ignored (I'm standing maybe a foot away so I'm quite certain that he heard me) until I reached over him and other patrons orders to grab my food. I then hear him and the other workers giggling as I walk away. I assume they all heard me asking for my order but decided not to assist. Terrible experience & I hate it had to be Panera because I loved this place, but with those type of people in place to be the forefront of the brand (as these are the people the we encounter on a day to day basis, not the CEO) I won't be back. read more

I am updating my previous 2 star rating, I ordered a family deal recently it included 2 whole sandwiches, a large soup, a full baguette, and 4 cookies. It was delicious. I had my food delivered and was able to track it from store to my home. I chose contact less delivery and the driver called to let me know she was arriving and leaving my food on the porch. The food arrived hot and well packaged, it included condiments, utensils and individual soup bowls for each person. This order changed how I felt about panera. read more

I stopped here for bagels to bring to work this morning. Super disappointed with the selection. Only six different kinds of bagels, two of them with cinnamon. No chocolate chip, no blueberry. The cashier was nice but did try to throw two everything bagels in the box with the others...I had to stop him and have him bag those separately. I would stop for food, but never for bagels again. Panera's food so far has been very good. I got the sips membership because I travel all over and often need a place to eat and work for an hour or two. Panera is usually the best place. What I do notice is that at some places o can chose the size cup and at others I am given the smallest cup for being on the program. I wish there could be a little more consistency and prefer to pick my own size cup. The staff have been better than at many other chains. Keep up the good work. read more

I dined in at this location for the first time. I usually use the drive thru. EVERYONE was so pleasant and accommodating. The young lady was at the register training another employee and she STILL was attentive to each cys that came in, I know that can be challenging when a rush comes in from working in the food service industry. I'm not sure why this location has a low rating overall. I came to Panera Bread for the very first time today. I accidentally parked in the back of the lot, and two of their employees greeted me and allowed me to go in through the back door. I instantly saw where their order pickup rack was, and my order was already there waiting for me. I placed my order through their Google business page at 6:18, and my order was ready by 6:22. That is extremely quick, and my food still tasted fresh. Panera Bread makes me feel less guilty when eating out, they seem pretty transparent about what's in the food with detailed descriptions on their Google menu, and it's a healthier option compared to most. I did the pick 2 deal that came with a side -- I was able to try their pepperoni & sausage flatbread, their new spicy take chicken sandwich, and their summer fruit cup. Everything was delicious, but I'd probably passed on the pepperoni and sausage flatbread. I didn't like the type of meat they used on the flatbread, so I'll go with either their margarita or pepperoni next time. The flatbread crust was crispy, and the sandwich had the perfect kick with the Buffalo sauce. I also didn't expect to love the fruit cup, but the fruit was fresh, ripe and sweet. I'd recommend this location to anyone looking for healthy fast food. read more

This Panera Bread has just opened but I can tell already it's going to be my new go-to lunch place in Oak Lawn. The baking at this location blows away other Panera Breads I've visited. The French baguettes are often too tough at other sites but here they're the perfect combination of chewy and fluffy! The Cheese Brittany and Pecan braid are excellent too! They're not just a bunch of sugar which I appreciate greatly. There is ample parking and even a drive-thru. The service was good and the location is spotless and has lots of daylight coming in. For the most part this Panera is fine. Clean, food is what you'd expect. The poor ratings are for their hours. I used to subscribe to their Panera Coffee+ program and have a couple cups of coffee per week before work. But now they don't open till 8am. How in the world am I supposed to have a cup of coffee before work if they don't open till 8? The subscription is now useless. read more

Panera Bread is getting less and less stars from me !! Another lukewarm coffee being served. It was about 7pm... with Chicago strong wind blowing outside. About 38 degree, cold ! Wanted a cup of hot coffee. Nope not happening. Decided to get dinner as well. The squash soup tasted great. Very creamy. But my half sandwich was not too great. Had to manually pull out those brown colored mixed green / veggies on my sandwich. Sorry... the bread was a little hard to chew, especially the skin of the bread. Had to soak it up in the soup in order to chew the skin. Don't like my chocolate chips cookie too, it is not that good, just an average cookie. I appreciate the free potato chips. read more
