Panera's bakers dozen of bagels still hit the spot for a quick group breakfast (especially the cinnamon crunch!). BUT tossing them loose in a bag just feels wrong. I was told the company intentionally cut bagel packaging. I get saving costs, but not at the cost of presentation. We deserve better, especially at these prices.

    New almond sandwich it's delicious!!

Got 1 and half dozen Bagels today and noticed bagel hole is getting bigger and bread is getting thinner.

worst experience ever here. I am literally sitting in my car in the parking lot in tears because of the inefficiency of this restaurant. Ordered a you pick two. $20 for that and an ice tea. Waited almost a half hour, my buzzer hadn't gone off. I go up to the counter, and, I see what appears to be my order sitting on the counter. She says that's someone else's order. Asks my name, oh, yeah it is your order. She says it's been sitting at least 10 min. Offered to replace the soup. The salad, with dressing, would be soggy, too. A new order means more waiting. I asked for a refund. Yes, they refunded my pick 2, but I will receive it in 3-5 business days. I spent $20 for a drink, 40 min later, no lunch. Being diabetic, I have to find somewhere to have lunch and spend another $10+ more. I am livid. I will never be back here. Minimum wage increase for this??! Not worth going anywhere anymore. No one made this right.

Walking in, they had plenty of booths and tables that can accommodate both small and large groups. You order before you sit down, and they also have a self-serve water station. We tried the Egg Rolls (3 pieces) and Dumplings (5 pieces) for appetizers, and for our main meals we ordered the Beef Stew Soup and the Glass Noodle Chicken Soup. The egg rolls and dumplings were crispy and flavorful, and the sweet and sour dipping sauce paired well with both. I actually thought I had ordered the beef pho, so I was surprised when the beef stew came out but that was completely my mistake. It ended up being a pleasant surprise because it was hearty, full of flavor, and reminded me a lot of sopa de res. The Glass Noodle Chicken Soup was much lighter, with a clean, comforting broth that made for a great contrast to the rich beef stew. Both soups were generously portioned. The customer service was friendly, and the food came out fairly quickly. Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to coming back to try more items from their menu.

The restaurant was clearly overcrowded, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner became rude and disrespectful. The owner repeatedly complained that they were overwhelmed and couldn't handle additional guests. Rather than providing good customer service or communicating respectfully, he turned customers away and made us feel unwelcome. Eventually, we were asked to leave despite there being available seating when we arrived. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but there is no excuse for poor customer service or rude behavior toward paying customers. If a business cannot manage being at full capacity, it should have a better system in place rather than taking frustration out on guests. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

The service was great though, our server was really kind and attentive. The food was delicious, with generous portions and reasonable pricing for Tonkatsu. I got the cheese one and loved it, and my husband's udon was flavorful. I also added spicy tuna roll on the side with my set, and it was also delicious. Definitely planning to come back to try more of the rolls and I'm really curious about their hot pot, too.

My husband got the pork katsu and I tried the shabu shabu. Both dishes were flavorful and definitely satisfied our Japanese food craving. Unfortunately, the service experience did not match the food. When we first arrived, one of the servers gave us a heads up that they were busy and service might be slower than usual. We completely understood and appreciated the warning. However, after waiting about 20 minutes, we realized our order still had not been taken and it seemed like we were accidentally forgotten. We understand things can get overwhelming during a rush, so we tried to be patient. What stood out more was the overall lack of attentiveness and welcoming atmosphere from the service side. Some of the interactions felt cold, and one of the servers in particular seemed visibly annoyed and like she did not want to be there. As customers, a simple friendly check-in or update goes a long way, especially when the wait times are longer than usual. It took about an hour for us to receive our food. We also noticed other customers looking frustrated, and saw guests walk in, stand near the entrance for several minutes without being greeted or acknowledged, and eventually leave. Overall, the food itself was good and we can see the potential here, but the customer service really needs improvement. Long waits can happen, especially during busy hours, but feeling ignored or unwelcome makes the experience less enjoyable. With better communication and more attentive service, this place could be so much better.

Shandra's has been one of my favorite restaurants in Palmdale for years. One thing I really…read moreappreciate is that, unlike so many other places, their prices have remained very reasonable while the quality has never changed. The food is absolutely delicious--the flavors are authentic, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Their seafood soup is to die for! It's packed with flavor and is something I crave over and over again. The atmosphere is another reason I keep coming back. It's comfortable, quiet, and never feels rushed, making it the perfect place for a business meeting, lunch with a friend, or even a relaxing dinner. The service is always friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for outstanding Thai food in the Antelope Valley, I highly recommend Shandra Thai Cuisine. It's a true local gem that consistently delivers an excellent dining experience.

First, I want to point out that I'm very familiar with Thai food--I've eaten at over 100 Thai…read morerestaurants across the United States, so I feel like I have a pretty solid baseline when it comes to flavor and quality. With that said, I was sadly disappointed with Shandra Thai. Starting with the Thai iced tea: it wasn't the worst I've had, but definitely not the best. It tasted like it was brewed from tea (which is a plus), but it had way too much milk added, which diluted the flavor. It was also overly sweet. On the bright side, the portion is huge for $8, so it's definitely shareable. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp pad thai, which is a pretty standard dish. It was decent and came with a good amount of shrimp, but the flavor leaned way too sweet for my liking. I ordered the wor wonton soup, and this is where things really went downhill. The broth honestly reminded me of those seasoning packets that come with instant ramen--very salty and lacking depth. It was so salty that I could only manage a couple of spoonfuls before I started to feel sick. I'm also fairly certain the shrimp in the soup was frozen (see photo). It's disappointing to pay $18 for a dish that ends up going to waste. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be coming back.
