    Cinnamon Roll

The ordering process was a bit slow because they had a new employee. I enjoy their soups and salads. Though slightly more expensive than competitors such as Jason's Deli, I believe Panera has better ingredients. The cinnamon roll (pictured) was delectable. The dining area was clean and comfortable.

Fast great service. The broccoli cheese bread bowl is one of my favorite dishes on earth. The chicken noodle is also great. I have come here and they don't have any broccoli and cheddar soup. Various times. How hard is it to make soup. It's 5:00pm and they are out. That's crap.

Overall, very impressed with this place…read more Had a nice family dinner here this weekend. We got here relatively early, but it was already hopping. I'd probably try and get a reservation if you are trying to get here during prime hours. Service was great. Seemed to have a good team atmosphere with waiters helping cover each others tables. Food came out quickly. They gave me the wrong side, but before I could even ask my waiter, they apologized and brought out the right one. So kudos for noticing it and fixing it. Good was very good! I had the steak Frites with the Brussel sprouts. Everything was cooked well and tasted great! Overall, good vibe, good location, good food. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Was happy to see a new(er) option in Roanoke that offers steak, and more specifically prime rib! I wasn't hungry enough for the prime rib when we stopped in, so I opted for the prime rib sandwich with fries. My wife had a tenderloin with veggies and potatoes. My prime rib was pretty good, perhaps more cheese would make it better, but overall the meat had good flavor and the roll was not soggy. My wife said the tenderloin was good and cooked to order (medium rare). Size was appropriate too. The sides were good too. Service was attentive and professional. They have large screen TVs throughout the location and a pretty large bar as well. Overall, I think this is the perfect balance between upscale dining and sport bar, especially on this strip of restaurants. I'd like to come back to try the prime rib sometime soon!

I've tried all the different appetizers and every one of them is a winner. The entrees always hit just right. The wine and hand-crafted drinks are yummy. Dessert is a can't miss. My husband is a fan, too. I like to meet friends there for dinner - great atmosphere to enjoy the latest goings on. Also, look at the paintings which are for sale! Top notch experience all around!

I've been coming here off and on for many years and The Classic never disappoints. The fried lobster bites were the perfect starter; hot and crispy batter with the one-bite lobster flavor bomb, accompanied by a small container of drawn butter. So yummy! I am not a huge tomato soup fan but at the recommendation of our waiter we ordered the tomato basil soup and it was very delicious and full of flavor. Then the beef tenderloin was melt in your mouth tender and perfectly cooked. We ended with the blueberry buttermilk pie for dessert, which was also quite good. Another solid meal, with a very personable and attentive waiter yielded another great experience at The Classic!
