I forgot to pick up my two sandwiches from the pickup window but only realized it when I went home. I called them, explained to them the situation and went to pick up the sandwiches again. This Panera location seems to me more suitable for studying than the one in Twinbrook, this one is less busy, and the seating somehow helps you alienate from the world in order to concentrate on studying. However, this location has no direct sunlight: I know, for many people it is good, but I enjoy a little sun in my windows. The reason I took 1 star away is that the smoothy I had seemed to have either no real fruit at all or very little fruir. I ordered the Super fruit smoothy for the very first time and asked if they can make it with almond milk in stead of Greek yogurt. Plus- they happily agreed to do thus substitution,- good job, at least good service! However, after I sucked all the almond milk from my cup, at least half of its content looked like just colored ice, not sure if there were any berries inside- as supposed to be. So I got super disappointed and understood that I will not order Panera smoothies any more, but stick to coffee and bakery. When I get smoothy full of ice in McDonalds, I don't get upset because I don't even expect real food from McDonalds. But Panera,- it was an unpleasant surprise for me. And I should say, I have a blender at home, and it is no problem for me to make masterpieces of smoothies at home, but I came here for change of surroundings and wanted to get a lighter choice rather than 500 calories pastry. I take only 1 star, because in general Panera is a great place for coffee and studying/reading, I pretty love Panera. read more

Good food, good service, not the most convenient location. I had the pick 2 combo with Creamy tomato soup and Avocado chipotle chicken melt. I always feel like all of the food at Panera is a bit high in salt, but at least it's consistent! My only complaint about this location is parking, sometimes you have to walk a couple of blocks. read more

I came in to this Panera because my mechanic dropped me off while's he was servicing my car since about 10:30am today and it's now 2:05pm. I ordered my food and sat myself down in a corner seat by the window. Only about and hour ago did any staff member come into the dining area to clean the tables. She did such a horrible job! She barely cleaned the tables, only pushed everything onto the already dirty floor and seats. Like myself, every customer had to clean off their own tables and chairs before sitting down to eat. There is one employee by the name of Davey , who I did not encounter personally, but he has been so kind and polite with every customer who asked him to clean up tables for them. He brought a tub of wipes, where the other young lady just used two thin white napkins. Customer's we're blowing their nose at some of the tables, so one would think she would have used a disinfecting wipes to clean the tables. This Panera is by far the dirtiest I have ever been to. Davey, thank you for doing your job with a smile on your face, you're appreciated and amazing! Upper management should really retrain their employees and management staff on cleanness especially during the pandemic/flu season. Also it's really cold in their. Went there with my family before watching a movie, we were there around 9:30am. The location is convenient. However the workers are rude. They treated my mother pretty badly. The cashier was rude to me and my mother. I noticed that she was super friendly to the person after my mother. Like I know we had a huge order ( 5 orders) but that doesn't mean that you have to be rude. Anyways, after I got in line (and she noticed that I was with my mother) she rolled her eyes and asked someone else to help me. Great Panera location! My food is always delicious, though they are a bit slower than other Paneras I have been too. Plenty of room and tables, great for working here; however, somedays the music is overbearingly loud. They come around and clean the tables every 15 minutes...no joke! Bathroom is always clean as well! Love ordering take out or dining in...workers are friendly and welcoming. Just came in for a cup of coffee. A lot of space. However, the tables seemed as if they have not been cleaned since who knows when. There were bread crumbs on many unoccupied tables. Had to grab some napkins to mop/clean one for myself. However, the table surface is so sticky. My elbow stuck, my labtop stuck, even the mouse couldn't move. Tried another table, the same. I really like the concept of Panera as a family gathering place for a simple meal. They are often at very convenient locations. It's like they don't even look at what they are putting out. One day it's you having to fish through the chicken cobb salad to find anything other than green leaves to eat and the other it's you having two slices of steak on your steak and white cheddar panini. The Panera at 1780 E. Jefferson in the plaza . I ordered the soup for 5 the charge is $17.99 Who is Panera kidding with this portion size it is less than 2.5 of there own serving bowls. If I had ordered soup for five the charge would have been over 30.00 The bread that came with the soup was rock hard old this was a to go order so we were stuck with it. The young man that waited on me was nice but the lady on the pick up side was rude. The food is no different that any other Panera, which I'd usually give 3.5 stars to. It's quick, simple, relatively tasty. The added 1.5 stars go to Kevin for going above and beyond for service. I stopped in just before closing and on crutches. He was friendly & patient for being at the end of his shift. He brought out my food for me and went back to get me a water. The little attention to detail and kindness made my night & meal much more enjoyable. Incredibly frustrating experience. Ordered rapid order so I could quickly grab my lunch and get back to work. Arrived and the order was not ready. I asked the cashier about it and she said it would be ready shortly. I waited for 20 minutes. Asked the cashier again. She then said they had no record of my order. They then gave me a salad that I did not order. I told them I ordered the Cobb salad. They made one up, handed it to me, then said "sorry we are out of avocados." So I paid for a more expensive salad, then received no avocado and waited for a half an hour for a lame salad of just chicken and egg. They offered me no refund or discount. read more

My husband and I went to Panera with our 2 kids, 10 and 6. My kids love the bread. We ordered, and I had asked for bread (not chips) and all we got was chips. We asked for bread, and the staff there said they were out of baguettes. It was 7 PM, not close to closing time. Had I known that, I probably would not have even ordered. They also were out of most desserts. Maybe it was a fluke, but we found it pretty ridiculous that Panera was out of baguettes. read more

Panera's unsweetened iced tea is my absolute favorite. It's mellow - not bitter like Starbucks black tea. I love using the app and ordering online or at a kisok to avoid the line. Their soups are healthy and filling - the black bean and tomato are very flavorful. I like that you can choose how your egg is cooked and that they offer egg whites. Their bagels are ok - a little dry. I liked their old chocolate pastry better than the new one - it's too sweet. I think their Mac n cheese is a little pricey, but it's really good. I also catering - I choose them for the ability to order and manage/cancel your order online. They are always on time and have excellent catering rewards. Speaking of rewards, Panera has a great rewards program. And their food is healthy! read more

I needed to get on here and post this right away- I'm not feeling well so I ordered a salad with extra avocado (the miracle food IMO) for rapid pick up simply for the reason that I'm feeling sick and looking a mess. I wanted to run in, grab it and gtfo.... so when I got there and it wasn't ready I was frustrated- the girl told me they ran out of avocado. I of course had attitude in asking if I'd get my money back for extra avocado and what I should do. Silly. The manager is always awesome there, came right out and offered me a smoothie or pastry to make up for it. Completely took the blame for not checking their inventory and gave me a bag of cookies. I feel like such an ass and wanna publicly apologize to the girl working there for being such a brat. They were nice to me even tho I was being snotty and made me remind myself to chill out. I have a baby who cannot eat honey; when I order the greek yogurt with granola, I always get it w/o the honey. I went to Panera around 4:00 on Wednesday Sept. 12. I ordered the same thing I have always ordered from that location.. Being the only one in line, I noticed all cooking staff hanging out by the food prep laughing and talking. They were not busy. The cashier (in annoyed tone) and manager (never leaving her office) told me they could not make the granola w/o honey b/c it's remade. I asked her a few times, "Are you sure? I always order that here and at other locations." She rolled her eyes, shrugged her shoulders, "No they're premade." I thought Panera prides itself on "fresh"? How challenging would it have been for the cashier, one of the workers chatting, or the manager to come out of her office, throw a spoonful of yogurt and a handful of granola into a plastic container? I ordered a sandwich that's no longer on the menu (has been modified). Unfortunately, the order wasn't done to my specifications. I called back and spoke with one of the managers who told me to come back and they would make it right. HE WENT OVER AND BEYOND--excellent customer service! In fact, he told me that the next time I order the sandwich, to ask for one of the managers and they will make sure it's done correctly. I love Panera Bread and when this one opened right across the street from my office I was excited. I'd been there quite a few times and one day, myself and a co-worker decided to have breakfast there and I usually just get a bagel and coffee, but that day I decided to get a one of there breakfast sandwiches. I got an Egg White, Spinach and Asiago cheese sandwich and it was really good....until I was almost finished and was taking one of my last few bites and I pull away and there was a long straight blond hair coming out of my mouth connected to the sandwich. FYI: I have dark curly hair, so it definitely wasn't mines, plus it was embedded into the melted cheese, so yea. Naturally I freaked out and spit out what was in my mouth. I was more than disgusted. Today, I went with my same co-worker and decided I would just get a bagel and coffee. When I got to work, I realize they gave me the wrong cream cheese.
