It must have been the fresh smell of bread that drew me here to discover the new Panera Bread that seemed to have just pop up recently in the Union Landing shopping center in Union City. This location has abundant parking shared by other local errand destinations but is less frequently visited than the other shopping lots in the area. Being so close to the highway entrance, it's an easy place to get to if you're on the go and need a quick bite. For those looking for a place to park for a few hours and get some work done, you're at the right spot! It's quiet, clean, well lit and has free WiFi to get you through the work or study session. Aside from their signature sandwiches and bagels as their name suggests, you'll find other bistro staples like salads, soups, and pasta. For drinks, you'll have the option from their full coffee/espresso bar, teas, smoothies, and of course, soft drinks. I came in specifically to pick up an online order which is easily done through their mobile app. And as with all the other stores, they offer rewards and promotions through the app, including a birthday treat! For this visit, I was picking up a kitchen sink cookie - my favorite of their baked goods! The crispy circumference paired with the soft ingredient rich interior is heavenly with a cup of coffee. The slight saltiness with the sweet chocolate morsels hit all the flavor profiles you'd want from a cookie. The staff is super friendly here and work quite efficiently to keep things orderly yet fulfilled in a timely fashion. They have an open kitchen so you'll be able to peek in and get a good sense of the vibe from the team here. An added plus to be able to see your food being prepared! Overall, after discovering this newest addition to the Panera fleet, I am sure this will be my go-to Panera next time I'm hankering for their sandwiches, bagels or baked goods. The location is perfect for convenience and accessibility and the interior is comfortable. I couldn't ask for a better first impression of the new shop!

This newly opened Panera Bread is very clean and well kept. We ordered our usual entrées, and they were all good. We had the autumn squash soup, chicken noodle soup, and the Fiesta spicy chicken half sandwich. Sandwich was surprisingly very tasty. The customer service was great, and there's plenty of parking since it's located in the same complex as Smart & Final and Michaels. We'll definitely be back sometime!

I like this location. I have only been coming here for about 6 months. Today was not a good day for the quality of food in my order. I thought that there was a little better quality control. I had a half a sandwich and salad, and the spring lettuce in both items was rotten. I had to constantly pick out pieces of bad lettuce. I hope you all do better. I do like the food but I will stop patronizing if it doesn't improve.

Over priced utterly ridiculous, the beverages prices are a joke. Citrus punch $5.39 for 16oz sugar water.. Passion Papaya Green Tea $4.19 just gross. Sandwiches are a joke. Will never step into a Panera again.

I have noticed that through the years more items have been added to the menu (now includes a back side!), but that does not compromise on the quality. The seolleongtang ($20) always comes out light, rich, and packed with umami flavor. For a dish with three components (broth, meat, noodles), there is nothing to hide behind, and each one is executed to perfection. Flaky salt is added to your own taste, which is always satisfying to scoop and stir in. Tang's Haus also features tableside service, from the cutting of their housemade kimchi to them packing up your leftovers. One of my favorite aspects of Tang's Haus, and I'm glad they continue to dedicate themselves to quality service after all these years. Check always comes with chocolates (Hershey, so good quality). I always leave satisfied and never feeling too heavy. This is your local Union City hidden gem.

My husband came back home and explained the worker was giving him an attitude. No one had bad intention here and there was no need for such treatment. Upon my arrival the kind host greeted me immediately and allowed me to take a seat. I was unsure of what to order and I had asked the host what to get and he positioned for me to try the coconut miso ramen and lemme tell you it was honestly one of the best bowls of ramen I've had. The broth was incredibly rich and velvety, with the coconut adding a subtle natural sweetness that complemented the deep umami of the miso instead of overpowering it. It created a balanced, layered flavor that was both comforting and surprisingly refined. Every spoonful had depth, and the broth was so good that I found myself wanting to finish every last drop. The noodles had an excellent texture, firm with just the right amount of chew--allowing them to hold onto the broth beautifully. The toppings were fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and blended seamlessly with the overall dish, adding texture and flavor without distracting from the star of the bowl. What impressed me most was how harmonious everything tasted. Fusion flavors can sometimes feel forced, but this ramen was exceptionally well executed. The coconut and miso worked together to create something unique while still respecting the traditional character of ramen. If you're looking for a bowl that's comforting, flavorful, and a little different from the usual tonkotsu or shoyu, I can't recommend the Coconut Miso Ramen at Tadamasa highly enough. It's the kind of meal that stays on your mind long after you've finished eating, and I'll definitely be coming back for it. You ever slapped a lady while giving her the old baloney pony and it made you realize that this is the best thing ever to happen? It's similar to that feeling

Not the thickest pieces of squid, but it was fried perfectly and tasted good. The miso ramen's broth had a nice zippy acidity to it which I really enjoyed. Don't expect to be blown away with a transcendent experience or super Instagrammable presentation, but the food is simply made well and does the job.

From M-F, 11:30am-2pm (closing) for just $19.90, you get to pick one of the ramen bowls, and one of appetizers that are listed (at half the size). Here's what we got: FRIED OYSTERS (5) - $12 This was not one of the appetizer options to the lunch specials but sis really needed her fried oysters, haha. This comes with a side of creamy sauce that tasted like a yummy potato salad. It was awesome! The fried oysters were very hot to be careful, and it was very much enjoyed even though it scraped the roof of my mouth, haha. TONKOTSU RAMEN - $16.95 Tonkotsu (Pork Broth) chashu pork, green onion, yellow onion, soft boiled egg, fried green onion, kikurage mushroom. I'm happy that we get a WHOLE egg and not just half! Everything about this bowl was so good and creamy! GYOZA (6) - $8 Chicken/Veggie pan fried post stickers. The lunch specials only come with 3 pieces, and I'm always happy when your savory finger food comes with a dip! No complaints here! KARAAAGE (6) - $10 Fried Boneless Chicken. The lunch specials only come with 3 pieces, but they are huge! Juicy dark meat pieces, with a nice creamy srirarcha dipping sauce! Also hot, so be careful! It just means it's fresh! They have a back room that was nice and quiet. You can smell the fresh clean laundry from the laundromat next door, haha. The service was great, and everyone was so nice and attentive. We enjoyed ourselves very much, and was happily full with leftovers to snack on later!

If it's your first time trying ramen and don't want to go too crazy, you can try this. It is very delicious, but if you've had regular tonkotsu ramen before, I highly recommend trying the Kuro or Aka! 5/5 - Kuro Tonkotsu Ramen - The black garlic oil really enhances the tonkotsu flavor in a smoky, umami way. If you haven't tried a black garlic oil broth, I highly recommend you try it here! You will not be disappointed. 5/5 - Aka Tonkotsu Ramen - My personal favorite of the ramen bowls we all tried here. The spicy level can be adjusted and was exactly the spice level we thought it would be (we chose Level 2). The flavor is a bit more elevated than the regular tonkotsu ramen, likely from the spice that you should not find too overwhelming. 5/5 - Chashu Don (Appetizer) - The rice and chashu makes this its own little meal and is super savory and filling...as an appetizer! This is great to share with your party, and it seems to taste differently from the chashu you get in your ramen. You won't regret trying this! 5/5 - Chicken Karaage (Appetizer) - The chicken in this dish was very juicy, and the portions were huge! The sauce they give also compliments this well. You won't be disappointed with choosing this for an appetizer.
