Came here on a Friday night. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Not too busy we got seated right away and served barley tea (yum!). We ordered: -galbi tang: comforting broth on a cold day! Came with short ribs, glass noodles, egg, peppers and green onions. A great option if you're looking for something light, not too heavily flavored. The glass noodles were a great addition to this dish. Comes with a side of rice. Would've liked a bit more meat. -seafood pancake: crunchy on the inside and doughy on the inside. It's a thicker pancake which is what I prefer. The ingredients were generous and came out freshly made. Overall, a great place on a cold day. They have a variety of dishes such as different soups, stews, bimbimbap, and pancakes. A bit on the pricey side, with most dishes being $20+ each. The banchan were good and they were generous with the refills.

What a great little hidden gem, tucked away in small strip mall--plenty of parking spaces. Based on the name alone, you would have never guess it was a Korean restaurant, let along a delicious one at that. It wasn't too busy for lunch and we were seated right away. We ordered the bibimbap and Kkorigom tang and it was unbelievably delicious. The meat fell right off the bone and was very tender. The broth was tasty, not salty and the noodles were perfect. This is a great place to come if you are looking for some homestyle comfort foods. If you are looking for the typical BBQ type menu, this is not your kind of place. When the weather warms up, I want to try their Naeng Myeong (cold noodles).

Tiny restaurant in Union City, CA in a small plaza. The food was great and the service was really good. They cut up our food, served our soup, and even packaged our leftovers. Note that it's not your typical Korean restaurant since most of what they serve are in bowls. They don't have Korean short ribs or any grilled meats if that's what you're looking for. But really good for winter time. We like it and will come back to try more of their soup based dishes.

Solid homestyle Korean food -- tasty and comfortable casual ambiance with warm service. The mushroom tofu stew was served bubbling hot with tasty beech and other mushrooms varieties in a mildly spicy broth with scallions and an egg. The dolsot (stone pot) bibimbap was super hot and made the rice very crispy and delicious- we got it with the tofu option. The mandu was fried well and had a mixture of clear noodles, vegetables and bits of meat in it, which we preferred this ratio of less meat, which made it lighter. (If you're looking for more meat- the rest of the menu has a lot of beef and meat options.) The seafood pancake pajeon had a lot of scallions and loaded with white onions, which we enjoyed because the onions were sweet (if you do not like onions, that is something to know). Great portion sizes and came out very crispy. Overall welcoming friendly service at a relaxed place. It offered a kind of nostalgic familiarity and had a feeling of a family run restaurant-- makes for a nice casual no frills stopover with a relaxed homestyle vibe, and they do takeout too.

Stopped by on a weekday night to catch up with a friend over dinner. I ordered the bibimbap and was pleasantly surprised! I had been here once before and ordered the Seolleong Tang, i did not like it one bit because it lacked flavor and tasted like water. My friend and i talked about that time and she told me i was supposed to add salt to taste... whoops so sorry for being uncultured, but now i know for next time!! LOL! The bibimbap was pretty standard - nothing that stood out to me but i still really enjoyed it! Service was good and quick. The restraunt is a little small but, was not crowded. Will definitely come back again to try the seolleong tang (correctly)!

I went here with family for dinner, and we had a good time! We were looking for some Korean food, and this place has been on my radar. The shop is small with only a few tables. We had to wait about 25 minutes for a table of four to open up. But the server was very kind, and got us situated quickly. We placed our orders, and they came out very soon after. I got the Galbi Tang. The broth was rich and the meat was tender. I wish it came with more of everything. My partner got the Combination Sundubujjigae, and although I am usually not a fan of tofu soup, this was very good! However, the bulgogi bits in here were minimal. My favorite item that we got was the Bibimbap! One of the best bibimbap I have ever tasted. I would definitely get it when I come back.

it is my first time ordering from this place and I just doordashed kimchijiige and seolleong tang. My kimchigjjie was so disappointed, it is just kimchi and tofu.. there is no pork inside maybe just one little pork sqaure. i'm basically paying 24$ for a plain kimchi tofu soup.. sucha ripoff.

I ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap with Beef Bulgogi and Fried Tofu. My friend ordered the Ttukbaegi Bulgogi. We both liked our dishes; they were both good. Portions were good as well; we weren't able to finish it all and took home leftovers. There were four banchan. For the kimchi, our server cut it in front of us! That was something unexpected. I had never seen that before. When we were done with the banchan, our server was really nice (the whole night) and asked if we wanted refills. We happily said yes.

I've been here a few times, and finally got a chance to take photos and write a review. (Everytime I came, was super hungry :-p) Ordered the popular Galbi Tang, the beef is not as tender as before, but still tastes good, will try again next time. The seafood pancake is as good as before, crispy, juicy, and sweet...yes it is a bit more sweet than the pancake in other Korean restaurant. I noticed there are onions mixed in it, perhaps that's why it is different from other restaurants, we love it! The seafood tofu soup is also good, if you are looking for some comfort food. We used to like their Kimchi, but this time it is too sour, don't know why. This is my go-to Korean restaurant in the area, highly recommend.

Definitely one of the better local Korean spots in the area, albeit I went with friends who handled the ordering based on their previous visits and knowing what they preferred/didn't prefer from here. The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not too many banchan dishes but the ones they do have are solid. The kimchi pancake was one of my favorites of the meal. The lady cuts it up and puts in on your plate for you. Crispy and flavorful. Their kimchi is fresh and not overly sweet, which I think makes the pancake extra delicious. The mandu was crispy, typical to what you would usually get. The sundubujjigaes were solid, both the seafood and mushroom ones. Generous with the ingredients. The seolleong tang was light and comforting. They gave us bowls of rice to enjoy with the dishes. Definitely a solid local spot for Korean food with reasonable prices.

Small family business . The ladies are polite , friendly and efficient. Most of their side dishes are home made , very fresh and delicious . She cut the big cabbage in front of us to be the kimchi side dish . I love their seasoned spinach, fish cake , spicy cucumbers is very good! We have order the beef broth with brisket and ox tail . Ox tail broth is excellent and had a lot of pieces . With the white noodles inside the broth , side dishes and rice . We were very full . The brisket was too rough . I would not recommend it . However , our friends on the table next to us ordered beef tendon broth and it looked very good . Quality is generous and price not cheap . $22 for the knee tendon is the right price for the Bay Area now . I heard their seafood pancake is good . Will return the next time to try other items . Highly recommended.

Came after work for dinner. Parking lot available. Nice clean Korean restaurant specializing in soups. I ordered the Dogani tang, added the salt of course. It was so creamy and soothing, cleansed my soul. Came with rice and some small kimchi side dish. Would come back to hydrate.

I've been wanting to try Tang's Haus for a while and wow it did not disappoint. This Korean restaurant definitely gives you a homey/comfort food kind of feel which is especially nice during the winter. Located near Sunright, there is plenty of parking. I came here on a Saturday night with a friend around 8pm and while it was on the later end for dinner, there were still some other parties dining so I think that speaks to it being a good spot for dinner. The restaurant is small but definitely gives off a cozy feel. I got the galbi tang and my friend got the Seolleongtang and both were delicious! Love that the broth was flavorful yet still had that clean taste that a good tang has. The meat was tender as well. Love the banchan they gave. The staff was super attentive and despite being the last ones in the restaurant, they let us enjoy our food without pressuring us to leave (although we were mindful of the close time so made sure to finish our food in a timely manner). Overall, definitely recommend and would come back!

The restaurant is casual but busy during peak times, and the ban chan before the meal is a lovely and diverse selection of delicious Korea appetizers. I'd recommend coming with a big group so you're able to try a lot of things! Corn cheese (5/5) - one of the best corn cheeses I've ever had - idk what they put in it but it's crack.  Ttetobokki (3/5) - wasn't too big of a fan of this one, a lot of fish cakes and the sauce was more like a soup Seafood pancake (5/5) - this one is a must try for me and a non-negotiable whenever I come. There is a LOT of seafood in this pancake and it's delicious with the sauce. Galbi (5/5) - pricey, but the dinner portion is a good size and sharable for 2. The meat is tender and tasty and cooked with the perfect char.  Bibimbap (4/5) - I do like this one, it comes with a lot of beef and veggies. I like getting mine with a side of seasame oil to enhance the flavors. It stays hot for awhile tho lol Dumpling tofu soup (4/5) - also one of my go-to orders. I get it mild, and always eat it at the end of my meal because it stays hotttt. My order came with bean sprouts, broccoli, fish cakes, potatoes, kimchi, eggplant, and tofu. My favorites were the stir fried fish cakes and the lightly sweetened potatoes. *Kimchi Jjigae: the broth carried a pleasantly fermented kimchi flavor. There was also a generous amount of soft tofu incorporated throughout the stew. This leaned more heavily into deeper, aged kimchi notes. *Mul Naengmyun: the chilled broth had a naturally tangy and slightly sweet profile, so the side of mustard felt necessary to sharpen the flavors further. The buckwheat noodles were pleasantly bouncy, though they had clumped together a bit at the bottom. Unfortunately, the toppings were the weakest part, as both the meat and egg were noticeably overcooked. *Corn Cheese: surprisingly mozzarella forward. The cheese was melted well and paired nicely with the bursts of sweetness from the corn. This complemented the hotter savory dishes especially well. Overall, this is a solid takeout option with efficient service and dependable packaging. I would still like to see more depth and refinement in some of the broths, but the foundation is definitely there.

We ordered a BUNCH of skewers, from the standard beef, lamb, pork belly to chicken skin and a fried quail. All of the skewers had the same type of dried chili powder spice seasoning mix so unfortunately there wasn't too much of a diversity in flavor profile but on the flip side, it allowed us to focus more on enjoying the meat quality itself (this is where rice or noodles would definitely help cut through the richness). All of the meats were incredibly well-cooked and charred. It is on the drier side, so be aware if you are looking for a juicier, plumper cut of meat that some other restaurants have. Their garlic fries were simply topped with garlic, but not well dispersed throughout while the bbq beef ribs had barely any meat. The grilled oysters sadly also lacked flavor. Overall, with the subpar service and food, we won't be back.
