This place is great...when they aren't out of anything and everything. We frequent this place quite often and more often than not they are out of bread or meat but still ring you up for those items only to tell you after the fact that they are out, creating even more problems. If you are out of the advertised meals...take down the signs in front of the registers and quite letting people order it. It's common business procedure. Communication between the registers and make line is terrible. And whoever does their ordering should be able to predict these trends by now. It happens too much. read more

The service is soo bad. I walked in and two girls were at the register, one was occupied cleaning and the other told us she would take our order when we were ready but continues to wash her hands and walk away... Legit stand there and get ignored for a good 5 minutes waiting for something as simple as getting our order taken. We finally order and the girl starts making my mango smoothie and honestly I think I was just sold straight yogurt... It's flavor was that of flavorless yogurt! I have been to Panera many times before and have ordered this same mango smoothie but this time I don't think the girl knew what she was doing... If there was a no star out of five I would choose it, after this experience I am definitely going to ponder on coming back because I think the new staff is not up to par to what it used to be. do not go here. Picking up a DoorDash order, i post up at the DD pickup rack, immediately get a rude comment from an employee as though I'm doing something wrong. Once I clarify why I'm there they have trouble finding the order, I understand it's two systems needing to work together and in no way do I expect seamless pickups every time, my only expectation are courteous and helpful employees. This Panera does not offer that. They said their system says the order would be ready in an hour, my app said it would be ready in 5 mins. Clearly it's an issue with the system. Instead of offering a resolution such as just prioritizing the order the manager comes over and rudely tells me " you're 45 mins early" and I need to "call my company". Unfortunately I had someone else's food in my car so I couldn't deal with this and had to cancel this order so I could deliver the other food. As I left the restaurant the manager passive aggressively tells me to "have a great day." The only reason I'm writing this review is because another customer told me as I walked outside that they couldn't believe the employees talked to me like that. I have never eaten here before my parents came into town for the weekend. They wanted something light and easy, so I thought oh hell lets just go here. I cant stop from coming here. I work weekends and have a couple days off during the week. Usually I would treat myself to some soup at Red Robin. But they changed the recipe on their French Onion Soup and I have been disappointed about it. I am now a regular at Panera!!! Super tasty fresh food. Really awesome fast service and friendly staff. Its a great blend! Whenever I swing by for lunch, I always get the pick two lunch option. The hardest part is trying to pick which two you want. Their sandwhiches, soups and salads are all so tasty. Plus, everything is baked on site. At one point I drove by at around 4am and the air smelled amazing! Some of the foodie snobs don't like this place, which puts it high on my list as a place to go, cause foodies can kiss it :) read more

Mixed review: The ingredients of the food are good and organic. But this restaurant has to change some of its ways. For example, after I ordered a bagel and asked for jelly or jam, they said that would cost an extra 50 cents! I never heard of such a thing before. When they brought out the oatmeal, there was no little flask of milk, and we had to ask for some. I never heard of a restaurant not including a little bit of milk for the oatmeal. The portion for the oatmeal was small, and there was not much fruit in it, though we paid for the items on the menu, which includes fruit. I would say that the amount of food and all the little add-on costs make the meal pretty dern expensive for what you are getting. read more

This is a great warm and quiet place for a morning meeting with friends. I have been coming here for the past few years, often two times per week. I come because of the friendly people. They forgot an item on my order totally fine I get it I got an extra piece of bread I could see how it can be easily forgotten. I called to get a refund for the item but I had to ride all the way back to get the refund. You know what no problem I get it they need my card. I rode back to the drive-thru and the first time I was there they did not see me and no one was near the window so I had to ride through twice that's no big deal because I'm on a motorcycle so sometimes people don't notice me. So this time when I saw the woman who was working the window walking away without saying anything to me I thought oh well I better knock on the window so she sees me and I waved. Well, she then proceeded to throw a temper tantrum at me and let me know she can't do a refund it has to be the manager in the back. I was really patient the whole time, but the fact that this person forgot part of my order made me have to ride all the way there and then throw a temper tantrum at me it really took me back. Then the manager comes and refunds my card and when I told her about her worker's behavior she just says yea I was in the back... Okay, thanks Stacy I see now why the workers behave in such a matter because they are allowed to. It's just Panera it's just a piece of bread, but honestly, I don't understand why you would mess up my order then proceed to treat me so rudely. I've never had anything but stellar service at the other Paneras, but I'm definitely staying away from this brand from now on. Let's start with the good. In my experience(s), the people are friendly and attentive and the service is great. The soups and the bacon mac & cheese are amazing! I would, however, recommend a new mayonnaise. Theirs tastes like Miracle Whips crappy cousin. We just bring in our own. Now... the bad. Their kitchen area is disgusting. Really, really gross. One of the two girls making the food has long hair, and was not wearing a hat or hair net of any kind. The kid at the table next to us found a hair in his soup, let the counter know, and she STILL did not put on a hat or hairnet. Nasty. I went up and asked for a to go cup for my soup, and made the mistake of taking a look at the food prep area. There was food everywhere. Condiments being spilled, produce scattered everywhere. They definitely don't seem to "clean as you go". I know they're busy during the day and maybe sometimes at night, but we were there around 8-8:30 and there weren't more than 10 of us in the place. I think we'll just stick to the soup and mac & cheese and skip the sandwich and salad. The bathrooms, kinda gross. The towel dispensers batteries were almost dead, so it would spit out a 1/4 of an inch of paper towel.... and stop. You had to reach in and forcefully pull out the paper towel, wich would then inevitably rip and so I would try again to wave my hand in front of the censor .... you see where this is going. I stopped in for lunch with my 2 girls and spouse and we just wanted to sit down. The cashier ask the manager if they were at capacity and manager told her "yes, we are at full capacity". When we looked around we counted 12 patrons sitting down. The manager said the capacity was 121 in the building and operating at 25%. When inquired being able to sit down because it seemed like we would be way under capacity the ma a her replied and said "I don't have time for this and brushed me off". Seems like the manager has opportunities in how to address both regular and loyal customers concerns and questions around these concerns during COVID. read more

My sister got hair in her soup twice. They also gave her a dirty spoon. At least she got a free drink to make up for it. Overall, the food there is good. Came into this location this morning and ordered some food, my buddy decided to taste his cookie while waiting for are food. The manager was extremely rude telling us that the law says that there's no eating in a restaurant and you have to wear a mask because it's also a law. Both of our responses back was no there's no law in place we both own a business so we know a lot about COVID-19 it's a policy or a recommendation. Her tone and her attitude in the missed proper training by her employer definitely needs to be taken care of. Once we left the store I decided to bite into my sandwich to find that it was very cold. I took it back inside to get told to use a microwave when no that's not the case you should be making this right. And then snapped at me because my mask came down past my nose. It's Panera. The food was good. I go when I'm being lazy and want something comforting. I've been to this location twice. First, I mobile ordered something. When I got there, they told me they didn't have it. Annoying, but stuff happens. Today, I mobile ordered again. "Customized" the sandwich a bit per options in the app. I added two things and deducted two things. Nothing horribly complex (+bacon/avo minus a sauce and onions, the horror) and nothing that wasn't an offered option. Anyway. I'm sitting there, right next to where the rapid pick up orders go. The guy running the food asked about my order, and the girl behind the counter RIGHT in front of me rolls her eyes, gives an irritated sigh and makes a snarky comment about people who order everything but what's on the sandwich. Listen. I get not wanting to be at work. But like literally everyone else in a customer service environment, save your eye rolls and your comments for the back of the house. Not that it was warranted anyway. It really rubbed me the wrong way and I probably won't go back to this location. My husband ordered Panera Bread at 2:23pm on Mother's Day and it is 4:21pm on Mother's Day and we haven't received the food yet. When my husband called to get information about where our order was, the gentleman said that they didn't have an order. He then refreshed their computer system to see that our order and two other orders were waiting. He said we would have to wait another 30 minutes. I stopped here with my brothers on the way to the airport for coffee. I thought that a place that served espresso drinks would know how to make regular brewed coffee, but boy was I wrong. I decided to try their Hazelnut brewed coffee. The airpot ran out halfway through the cup, so I let them know. The half-cup was completely flat, tasteless. You couldn't even detect any coffee taste. I was hoping the fresh-brewed would be better. It wasn't, it was exactly the same. I roast my own beans so I can tell that their problem is they are using beans that have been exposed to oxygen for way too long and they've gone stale. You can't dip out the same bin of beans for months at a time, which is probably what they are doing. Panera Bread: Buy a book on coffee brewing and learn how to make coffee! Even McDonald's finally figured it out, and theirs years ago used to be just like Panera Bread's is now. read more

I like the concept of Panera, but I think the portions are fairly small for what they charge. I ordered their Chicken Sorrentina pasta dish. It was very tasty, but I was disappointed that I got about half an ounce of chicken sprinkled on top. The sauce was spicy and very nice. The ravioli served hot over fresh spinach was the best part. We always come here for lunch from work & have always enjoyed the food & atmosphere. Today, the food was great but there was a table of young moms with their kids & the kids were running, out of control & shouting all over the place, needless to say the moms just sat there chatting away & not watching their kids! We ate our lunches as fast as we could & got out there. I don't know how Panera could handle this situation but it was very nerve racking. Ok I admit it I love Panera Bread. I always get the pick two, ( half a sandwich, cup of soup) The Asiago roast beef is very good and you can't go wrong with whatever soup you choose. My favorites are the brocolli and cheese, and french onion. I also get the regular baguette that comes with the soup.And of course they have a great selection of cookies to finish your meal. I want to give this location 5 stars, badly. But I just can't. The Bad: The reason for low rating is that my wife and I have eaten here many times since we moved here a year and a half ago. It feels like a 50/50 chance every time we go that they will have all the ingredients it takes to make the sandwiches we order. My favorite is "we ran out of that bread". Panera Bread, ran out of bread... If it's not the bread, it's the turkey. When it's not the turkey it's the avocado. What's worse is when they don't tell the cashiers these things, so you don't find out until one of the line workers is half way done making the sandwich, so you have to come up with an alternative on the fly (this can be quite frustrating when there are 10 other people waiting for their lunches/dinner right next to you). I completely attribute all of these bad things to the management. I feel like the employees try their best with what they have, and are repeatedly set up to fail by management. The worst part is, its 5 pm most of the time when we run in to these situation. Talk about revenue loss. Management needs to get their act together, because even though the food is GREAT when it's all "there", there are only so many times one can be annoyed by something before avoiding it all together. It's been a year and a half (that we know of) this has been going on, you should have been able to figure it out by now. Seriously, us as consumers know very well we can make our own sandwiches for a fraction of the cost of Panera's. We go to Panera's for the quality, and experience. I come here more than I'd like to admit... But I am surprised at their ratings! My order varies.. usually a 'You Pick Two' but recently sometimes just a sandwich instead. The Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt is by far my favorite!!! Today I ordered ahead on my phone... (BTW to the crabby people who are upset about the wait time, you should try this) and picked up my order before coming back to work. When at work, I realized my fav sandwich was missing avocado and bacon (which it usually does'nt have but I paid extra for it). I called and the gal who helped me was kind and got it straightened way. Of the 10 times I've ordered, this is the first mistake! And let's face it... it's not the end of the world lol. Always an easy experience for me here and I appreciate the service! It is a little spendier than other sandwich places but MUCH better. Plus the mac n cheese is a classic :) read more
