They have definitely improved since the last time I was here. We had a small issue when we got our food that there was not enough of the ingredients and the soup. We simply asked one of the servers to have more ingredients and he was more than happy to give us a full bowl of the soup that we had ordered. It's mostly clean as far as Panera breads go. It's really quiet in here which is really nice and the food is actually amazingly good. First and Foremost I love Panera Bread but this location can be so lacking at times. Staff can be polite and friendly on a good day but due to a high volume of customers at this particular store they are always sold out of items early in the day which can be frustrating. I thought I was lucky the other day because there was no line. My inner fatty was so happy waiting for my food I wanted to try the new Steak sandwich. Yet after 15 minutes of waiting I realized everyone was receiving their food before me. Only to proceed back to the cashier to find out there is no steak for my sandwich. Since this is a frequent occurrence whoever is responsible for ordering stock should definitely look into the numbers on high demand items so things like this do not continue to happen at this location. read more

Totally understand why this location has such a low overall rating. My boyfriend and I were out here for a doctors appointment and were starving so quickly grabbed Panera. Woof. So many things wrong at this location. Front of house staff are overwhelmed - probably short staffed as well. All their drinks in the soda machine are pure syrup because it's clearly out of CO2 so zero bubbles. Unfortunately, boyfriend's Turkey bacon avocado sandwich was bland. His broccoli cheddar soup was good though! My Greek salad was supposed to come with extra tomatoes but I got zero instead of extra. Asked them for some and they said they were out and carelessly shrugged it off. No one on staff seems to really care about any of the issues. The whole place is also just such a mess. I'm a little disappointed. I was out on a run and hubby ordered din for us so that I could pick it up on my way home. During these times, I don't want to be in any public indoor space for too long, so being able to order ahead is a big plus for me. Unfortunately, the staff don't follow the times they quote patrons. Now mind you, I don't mind waiting a few minutes longer for my order but if people who arrive AFTER me are ordering their food in person and then receiving their order BEFORE the order I made over 25-30 minutes prior, there's most definitely a problem that needs fixing. I sat in my car until a few minutes before my order would be ready. I even stood on line and made an in-person order for some bagels since the line wasn't too long and it didn't look like the order was ready as of yet. I received my bagels and stood on the side, waiting for my pick up order. No one speaks to you. They just go about their business and completely ignore you. Unless you practically stand behind the counter with them, they don't even acknowledge you. One guy that I suspect was a delivery driver, was waiting for an order, so I stood by until he was done since he was there ahead of me. Another woman comes in, totally rushes to the front with her cell phone out, asking for her order. Another guy comes in, practically shoving his phone in the face of the cashier who served me and she was about to check on his order despite the fact that I was there before him. There's no organization and honestly, during these times, there needs to be someone handling patrons that are coming in for online orders because there is a lot of other things all happening at the same time. I've been to other locations that have signs to keep people from standing in one area but the way this location is set up, there are multiple people on line ordering with cashiers, less than five feet away is where you wait for online orders, two feet from there are where people wait for their drinks and adjacent to that is where you wait for your takeout food. Now couple all of these areas that are in close proximity to one another with the fact that multiple people are waiting in one area for longer than they're supposed to, it's a recipe for disaster. I feel safer working on covid patients in my hospital because at least I'm better protected. I waited for fifteen additional minutes for an order that was made 15/20 minutes before my arrival...what's the point? I would have been better off just making my order in person and likely would have been out of there within 10 minutes of doing so, based upon how quickly the line was moving. My last issue is the fact that the woman handling the online orders did not even have her mask on all the way. The top of it was resting on her upper lip and her nose was completely exposed. I'm assuming she was a manager because she was wearing street clothes (green plaid shirt and black jeans). If you're handling people's food and you work in food services, you should be donning appropriate PPE, correctly. They are obviously without adequate leadership; truly unprofessional. Newsflash: your nose is part of your respiratory system. Cover it up because I don't need you breathing on my food. You're wearing your mask to protect others. If you don't believe in it, then find another job where you can work from home because right about now, it's a mandatory requirement. Do better. This location was ok. I think they need to be a lil more tidy with the bread area, being how we are still in a pandemic. I ordered a small chicken figi salad, and it was good. It didn't seem like they had anyone in forcing social distance, but from the look of it, everyone seemed to be doing it automatically. It also appeared as if the tables were set that way as well. Accidentally went to this Panera today, on the way home from an event. I say accidentally because as soon as I got there I knew it would be bad. All was going smooth until the food showed up. The Greek salad was A OK. Nothing wrong, not amazing, but just nothing wrong. The bread bowl was the smallest bread bowl of all time, and they didn't even scrape the bread out. How am I paying $8 for like 1 spoon of soup. On top of that, the soup was just leaking all over the plate. 50% of my meal was good, the other 50% non existent. By far the worst experience I've had at any restaurant. I ordered over $100 in coffee & bagels. I had to ask for milk, sugar and stirrers. The only thing they provided was knives for the spread. I asked her for more cups and she told me I needed more coffee so I was waiting on her to start, then after 5 mins she proceeded to tell me I had to use the kiosk like are you for real? They even turned an old lady away because she didn't know how to use the kiosk and all she wanted was a cup of coffee. That is disgusting to treat your customers this way. There's a layer of dust and grease on everything. You cannot convince there's a cleaning crew that wipes anything down. My husband got the bbq Chicken sandwich( full size), the Mac and cheese and a soup. We didn't get pics of the other items as we were hella smacked and was hungry . I stopped at Panera today for lunch from work, and up on my arrival I was greeted with a line outside the door, however I was not discouraged because I placed my order online before i arrived. The order pickup time was 1:59pm and I did not leave the store until 2:25pm, the service was very bad, the staff wasn't wearing mask and were speaking while preparing the food and there was a lot of mixed up orders, when I finally got my food after waiting for such a long period my food looked like leftovers that you would take home for your dog, I was so disappointed, not only did I arrive back to work late but I did not get a chance to eat it properly, but the only plus I will add is the fact that the food (Baja bowl) did taste delicious, but the customer service and presentation was horrible, I will not go back to that location (cross county location) read more

Came for a business meeting here and I am never disappointed coming here for a meeting. Wifi is fast, bathrooms are clean, and it is spacious. Service is always very quick as well. The food is also pretty good. We got a bearclaw and a muffin. Both were fresh and did not taste like they were frozen. I also liked the avocago egg on the bagel flatbread. I was happy to see a another Panera besides Scarsdale. These places are too busy to just have one in this part of the county. I have visited this one many times, early morning to later at night when chipotle lines are out the door. There is an issue with quantity of ingredients in the selection and then if the ingredients are even available. Are they cutting back on ingredients for fear they don't run out? To make sure everyone has at least one piece of whatever? I like the soufflés. They don't fill the paper cup so there is a big gap between the product and the paper holder. That's not the case at other paneras. Also the egg recipes that fills it is such a scant amount. You are getting all croissant crust and no soufflé. Industry wide they raised the price on this so it's awful they are skimping on the amount you get. Lines sometimes don't move. Food prep slow. Maybe they need more help. I have never seen all four registers going when it's busy. There is an assertive and perky woman with long curly ponytail that knows what she is doing. If she is not a manager she should be. This is a busy mall and if they need more help and order more ingredients they should. Coax more customer service by handing out a sample from time to time. read more

I believe in second chances, which is why I have continued to go to the Panara Bread in the Cross County Mall in Yonkers, NY. I usually order my breakfast there. And the breakfast food is good. It is the service that is lacking. I have had my breakfast sandwiches delivered with no sausage 2x, for a sausage & egg & cheese sandwich. Today I went to pick up my order and to my surprise and disappointment, the order was not there. The breakfast that I ordered and paid for was taken by someone else! And the cashiers said they watched the person take a second order (mine). So they don't even check or monitor the orders that people make or take. Anyone can just come up and get a free breakfast. Although they apologized and will credit my account for the mistake, I feel that I should have been offered a comp meal or something for my inconvenience. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but they need better management and service at that location. The worse Panera location I've been too I placed an order online I got an notification that my order was gonna be ready by 6:03 I go in there's no sign where it says pick up or anything like that so I stay online and wait a couple of minutes then I go to the counter and I said I'm here to pick up and she direct me where the pick up is again there's no sign or or anything letting you know that's where you're supposed to go to pick up then I say my name there's a bunch of employees just standing around doing nothing nobody says may I help you can I help you nothing they just walking around looking at you then somebody assess what's my name I show her the order number along with the name Tom he's going to be a couple of minutes I got a text stating it was going to take a couple of minutes I waited people coming in looking for the order nothing is prepared nobody's helping anybody again a bunch of employees just walking around not servicing the people coming in then I got a text stating my order is ready no one is acknowledging anything or calling out the orders that are ready they just sitting there in the counter getting cold finally I walk around and I see my order just sitting there so I point to one of them people just standing there and say I see my order can I get it she got the order and gave it to me again my order was just sitting there and nobody was calling anybody names or nothing to get rid of the orders sitting there my order was cold again the type of employees that was on the floor were not helping just looking around and talking amongst themselves they need to get organized and hire different type of people willing to service people read more

This Panera is the worst one I've been to. I came here on two occasions a couple of days apart just for a breakfast bagel sandwich and a coffee. The food was as expected but the state of the restaurant and some of the staff need major improvements. On my first visit at 930am the place was empty - 3 or 4 people sitting down. The floors hadn't been swept/vacuumed, tables needed to be cleaned and one overhead lamp was out and another had no covering - just a bare bulb. One of the 2 stalls in the rest room was out of order and the one that was available had standing water on the floor. Can you say 'lawsuit'? These issues with the exception of the water were the same on my second visit 2 days later. The floor was wet but less water. Still a slip and fall hazard. The same staff member was at the register on both of my visits and she was friendly and helpful. The other staff personnel appeared to be moving in slow motion, were overly chatty with each other and could have used this slow time to take care of housekeeping issues. Ok so here's the capper. On my second visit one male staff member came out from the back with his mouthful of food - bread it seemed - hanging out of his mouth as he chewed. He slowly walked past the beverage dispensers as if deciding if he wanted a drink to wash it down. He then slinked away and disappeared in the back. We had a rapid pickup from this Panera. Once before we ordered through regular line but today it was crowded and had a line at the cashier so we decided to order through the Panera app. So fast and convenient, and you can customize your order easily. They order came out at the time it was promised. The fruit cups were missing but we asked for them and get them immediately. Overall, the food is Panera quality, tastes good, convenient if you order through app and plenty of place to sit. Another nice Panera location in my opinion. read more
