    Mediterranean Bowl salad!
    John B.

Color me surprised....as I'm not a Panera regular. Truthfully, I've always figured they were a bit pricey and I can find similar if not better tastes for better value elsewhere. So, when a dear friend invited me to try the one in Zephyrhills I was willing to taste the experience. I ordered the Mediterranean Bowl salad. I was assuming it was a Greek-like salad or similar. You can add chicken, but I did not. What I got was a very pleasant surprise, indeed. It was a salad, but very very different. Not your usual 'you can get anywhere' salad, either. My salad consisted of Cilantro lime brown rice and quinoa, arugula, grape tomatoes, Kalamata olives, cucumbers, hummus, lemon tahini dressing, feta and Greek yogurt. All these ingredients blended into a wonderfully flavorful and savory mouth-watering meal. I was intrigued at the complexities of taste notes and how they interacted with each other. The aroma and taste were on point! I'm now willing to head back to Panera Bread to see if there's anything ELSE I've been missing?? Yum.

Pepperoni & sausage flatbread. Very good.

Not happy about the $4 half cup of cucumber salad that had more tomatoes than cucumbers. But it was tasty and the flatbread is a must try!

Panera charging you more for less! Staff gets angry when you ask where the rest of the food went.

Panera is giving less food portions but charging you the same. Their rice was frozen and staff got mad when I said it was frozen. Service and food was horrible. Don't let Panera rob you like this! Their staff was furious I asked where the rest of my portion went.

All soups not served daily. Luckily I picked the right day for black bean

What's amazing about this Panera? It's in Zephyrhills. Panera is my preferred choice for nothing at all. But in the middle of Zephyrhills, it's everything. I got a latte here. Not happy about forced 20oz sized latte, when all I wanted was 8 oz. Insane. I end up just not ordering a latte.

Lots of space and quiet while the undergrads are away...

Panera wifi. Endless coffee refills yeah. I could probs live here. Yes. I have experienced better at Panera. But you know what I love about it? Consistently delicious black bean soup, free refills, and not feeling guilty about stealing wifi and drinking a gallon worth of caffeinated beverages. Thank you America. That being said, the chicken in my salad was frozen solid... So I put it in my soup to thaw.

My opinion on Panera overall is that it's just overpriced salads, soups and sandwiches. Their baked goods are super tasty but I'm not totally sold. I only go when it's my only option. The customer service at this location depends on the day. But overall good.

Came to this Panera this morning for our traditional Friday morning breakfast out. Normally, we go to the Wesley Chapel location but we were in the area. The kids love the cinnamon crunch and chocolate chip bagels. My husband and myself get the egg white sandwiches. We were all happy with our orders and look forward to our next visit at Panera.

I struggled with the star rating for this place because it was my moms idea to eat here, as she…read morelives locally and I feel like this is more of a come for dinner when you don't want to cook yourself type of place. It's Saturday evening on a holiday weekend and the place was pretty busy. People continued to come in and pick up to-go orders and all the booths were full. Family owned and the owner even stopped by our table to let us know what he makes fresh, like the meatballs and lasagna. So maybe I gotta come back and try that. My meal for a slice of cheese pizza, small salad and a ginger ale was $8 which is a DEAL! I can tell the locals frequent and Zephyrhills is a less developed part of Florida in comparison to like a Wesley Chapel so I feel like you gotta give some perspective. It's a family vibe and the servings are plentiful and the service here is probably the first thing I noticed. Everyone is super friendly, for a small joint, they'll bring your food out piping hot if you're dining in and as I mentioned, the chef will have a chat and check in on you which is way more than I can say about a lot of places. The pizza was okay. I wasn't a fan of the crust and I'm someone who looks forward to the crust. I found it to be flavorless. I did like the crispy bottom and how it held up to a fold. The salad was fine, and the dressing was a standard Italian. Nothing to write home about but the eggplant parm was a lot of food. You could easily get three servings from it. I think the sauce was delicious, although just a tad on the salty side for me. I liked the spaghetti, it was al dente and for me was the only thing with texture on the plate. I thought everything else ate like soft food and I personally like different textures when I eat so while the flavor was good, it was just a lot of melted cheese and sauce and I wasn't really sure when or if I was getting a bite of eggplant. If I went back, I'd ask what's made in house and give it a try. If you're not too much of a food snob like me and can enjoy food that's giving home cooked vibes at a great value, then this place delivers.

I usually go there and get bagels every couple of weeks for work Tuesdays at 6 AM. The first time I…read moredid that there was a lady there who was really nasty. I just brushed itoff as a rare occurrence. However, I have been going back and every Tuesday morning this lady is there with a real bad attitude and very brusque. On top of it, this last time not a single bagel that I ordered was right, the bagels also tasted stale like they were at least a day old. They had no soufflés either. I think they need to clean up their act, sell fresh food and be more user-friendly.

Unlike any hospital cafeteria I've ever encountered, "Creation Cafe is modeled after the principles…read moreof Creation Health." Those principles are: Activity, Choice, Environment, Interpersonal Relationships, Nutrition, Outlook, Rest & Trust. The cafe opened in 2014. It appears brand new as well as very clean. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM seven days weekly while lunch/dinner runs till 6:30 PM. There are many options here: a hot bar; a fresh fruit bar; a salad bar; & a sub sandwich bar. (During standard breakfast, lunch & dinner times, staff will serve you.) There are also soups; individually packaged cereals; toast (a variety of bread slices); bakery items; & refrigerated desserts like custards, puddings, Jello, cake & pie slices. The apple, blueberry, & raspberry scones are very good. There's also a frozen yogurt machine w/ two flavors, as well as accompanying toppings, & a machine for iced coffee. There's the standard vending machine beverages, but also bottled water, coffee, hot tea, carbonated beverages in styrofoam (Pepsi products), milk, & iced tea. Refills on sodas & iced tea are allowed-- may or may not be the same w/ hot coffee & tea. Also available are Nestle bottled smoothies (GMO free). The hot bar provides patrons w/ multiple entrees. (One offering is always meatless.) Tonight the choices were a chili dog w/ fries, baked crusted fish w/ a rice medley & veggies, & spaghetti w/ a side of chicken breast (optional). The following day (update) the choices included barbequed chicken, burgundy beef, soy patty, & chicken tenders-- among others. Don't want the self-serve hot bar? You choose your sliced meat & toppings to build a sandwich. But, had you selected the hot bar, you may be charged by the weight. (You'll have to open your container because there's a base price dependent on what hot food item you selected.) Prices are quite fair. My spaghetti w/ a large banana & large diet soda rang up at $3.71. Yes, $3.71-- a quick hot meal for under $4! Two larger dinners totalled $8.00 each. There are 2 registers for checkout, although at times only 1 cashier is on duty. Any line moves quickly, though; hospital employees simply place their ID in front of a scanner & their transaction is complete. The lighting, dining area & connecting lounge are aesthetically pleasing-- the bold colors blend to create a very comfortable & relaxing place to eat (or just sit). The wide open concept lacks the accompanying anxiety of a traditional cafeteria. This is the first hospital cafeteria I've actually enjoyed patronizing. If you are visiting someone at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills (or FHZ, as it's now known), w/ such great prices & the varied selection there's little reason to lose your parking spot to drive nearby for the string of fast food & lackluster restaurants. Bravo to whoever had the vision of Creation Cafe!
