We were South location in Glendale closed so we decided to make the trip out here to Burbank to give this location to try. Pretty much the same menu as the other locations and the same quality of food. Yes, living in Glendale and the surrounding areas you can definitely find a choice of kebabs and Mediterranean food but this one is a standard staple with a consistent kitchen and menu. Tried the beef and chicken, shish kebab and again definitely consistent and definitely one of the better choices in the area. The dip platter is decent. We've had better hummus and chips at other places but for the price and I value you can't go wrong. I definitely recommend the chicken shish kebab or the shrimp shish kebab. We went last Sunday with a larger party but seated relatively quickly. Food was great when it all arrived. The miss: -They missed my cousin sons meal. Mistakes happen but they made a sandwich vs a wrap and instead of dropping the sandwich off while waiting they made him wait. I held off eating my meal as long as possible but ended up eating since it was fish. -Food took long but I understand they wanted all food to come out at one time. This is my favorite kabob place. I've had their chicken, their beef, and their kubedeh and I've loved them all. Their rice is really good and the veggies they give you are always cooked perfectly. The garbanzo hummus is also my favorite hummus. If you're looking for a decently priced and tasty lunch, their ka-boxes (kabob to-go only) are such a great deal! Loads of food for under $15. So I postmates a lot of lunches throughout my day because I work in downtown Los Angeles. It's scary to head out and have lunch in this area. I've order panini many many many times. The problem with this place is, it lacks consistency. My 3 go tos are: 1. Chicken kabob, white rice, Roman avocado salad, spicy Serrano peppers 2. Fish with all the same things as the chicken above 3. Falafel plate with everything above and yogurt as well. Not bad but I wish the chicken sometimes didn't taste like rubber. My cousin got married to a beautiful family from out of town and due to scheduling issues we had to have the rehearsal at the church late Friday night. They were adamant upon having a rehearsal dinner for their bridal party but considering it was a busy night and it was last minute I called around to a few places who were not too accommodating to 25 to 30 people at such a late hour. I cannot begin to think Jackie and the manager, Victor and the other sweet gentleman that helped us that night. After driving them crazy with 100 phone calls, they were able to set us up a beautiful table, help us in ordering family style meals with the right amount of sides, and literally set it up for us in such a short amount of time. Not to mention most restaurants seem to rush you out after they close, but they were being more than patient and amazing with us. They let us stay a little bit after and, everything was right on point. The food was absolutely amazing and the way they timed it out for us was even better. I work in the restaurant industry and I must say that having such a large group of people with such short notice and minimal staff, they absolutely killed it and my family and I would like to thank you so much for a beautiful night! Our server, Jackie was busy with other tables, but still went out of her way to sit me down and go through the menu with me and explained it beautifully. The food here is good excellent, right on par with all the other PKGs. I've been to a good number of different Panini Kabob Grill locations, and this location falls short in a couple of areas - cleanliness and the service. One time, the ice tea glass came with a bright pink lipstick stain. Another time, the drink glass came with dried food near the lip of the glass. The lack of service is likely due to the fact that it is short-staffed here at times. In fact, a server did mention they were short-staffed when we went for dinner. For instance, it took a long time for them to bring any missing items (e.g. a missing iced tea, napkins). It was difficult to find our server. We also received the check in the middle of a meal, even though we had gotten our food a short while ago and had planned to order dessert after the meal. read more
