Whenever I come to Panisa for lunch I always receive quick service and delicious food! Today I had the pad see ew with beef added. It was so flavorful. I love the sauce and if you like spices they have a spice tray where you can select from four spices. I also ordered Thai tea to go. The menu has been recently updated. Panisa has lunch specials to select from as well. My friend had the crispy chicken from the lunch menu. We were both happy with our meals. Lunch portion is a little bit smaller portion.

Ordered food to go but was surprised to see the bill. It was much more expensive than the price listed on Yelp. It was so misleading. Someone needs to update the menu price. Beef Pad Thai- Beef was rough and overcooked. The noodles are too sweet for me. Not worth it for $17.The menus shows $10.95 though.

Food is delicious in the environment is so comfortable and included. Free for families and customer service is quick efficient.

So good! My new favorite local Thai spot. I tried the basil fried rice, pad thai, panang curry, spring rolls, and Thai tea. All were tasty and fresh. The in-person service while I awaited my order was solid as well. Would recommend.

We order from this location fairly frequently. I would recommend this place. The actual restaurant is very pleasant. Staff is friendly. Food is yummy. We order the noodles and the curries. You won't be disappointed. Safe bet if you are in the mood for Thai.

We went yesterday 20 minutes before closing and hadn't realized the time. But they were happy to serve us lunch. We were able to stay after closing with no rush. And the food was delicious! I absolutely recommend

Stopped here after a hair appointment to grab some lunch that wasn't fast food, and the fellow Yelp reviews persuaded me. A young man greeted me, and I asked to place an order to go. He handed me their menu but I read here to ask for their daily lunch specials. It was a handwritten list of 5-6 options, so I went for the Massaman Curry Chicken and added an order of spring rolls. They quoted a 10-minute wait, but it was bagged and ready for me in more like 5! I ate it at home, 20 minutes away, and it was still warm! The spring rolls were nice and crispy with a flavorful dipping sauce that wasn't too sweet like some others I've had. The lunch portion was a very good size and value. (This could have been an ample portion for dinner too, esp with the addition of spring rolls that I didn't have to share!) One side of the plastic portioned container had the yellow curried chicken and potatoes in sauce, and the other side had the jasmine rice with a vegetable mix of broccoli and thinly sliced carrot rounds. The Massaman curry was well-seasoned and flavorful; you could clearly taste the balance of spices and coconut milk. Delicious! I'll definitely be coming here again when I have the occasion to be in Burke.

Thai basil chicken. The dinner option.

I have had mixed experiences here. Some times the food has been good and sometimes not so much. I also think it is a little overpriced

I decided to stop in a for a late lunch at around 230pm. A young man, Erick, prepared my food. It was the best bowl I've ever had. More importantly, however, was his amazing customer service. He went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed and enjoyed my food. He checked on me a couple more times, and when I finished, he happily came and took my tray and dishes. These simple acts truly turned my day around. Erick is a gentleman and a professional. And gave me the best customer service I've had anywhere in the last several years. THANKS!!

What I didn't like was there's a lot of up-charging, especially when other fast-casual salad bars include these things at no extra charge: I wanted to sub feta cheese crumbles for the blue cheese crumbles and I got charged more than a dollar extra. I got a side of focaccia bread - 2 small pieces- about the size of my fingers, and I have small hands. It's a good size salad and you get one small side of salad dressing. I asked for extra, for which there is an up charge for each teeny container. I didn't try their stirfry bowls and me come back to try one, but I'll go somewhere else for my big bowl salads.

But wait. My go-to spot suddenly closed, leaving me in a bit of a lurch! Where do I go?! We all have our favorite Chinese restaurant, and when we can't go to that one there's a little bit of a conundrum. I take American Chinese food seriously - which really means I order the same thing 98% of the time because that's my GO TO meal. As an intellectual, that is of course General Tso's chicken. Beijing Tokyo blends north and south Asia into a rather cozy, strip mall location. One person was talking obliviously on her cell phone, while the sushi Chef took orders. Until Yelp asked me if this place was romantic, I hadn't actually thought about it that way. But it is a little romantic. The tables are close together, the light is low, even if this place was full it would be... Cozy. A Chinese restaurant that's cozy is a very short leap to romantic. You can have a conversation here. I ordered my usual and waited about 10 minutes. The GTC was excellent. It had spice and flavor, but not too spicy. The fried rice was delicious. Good portion size and a good price. Two egg rolls and the total came to $25.25. No surprises, nothing out of the ordinary. If you had told me this had come from my favorite- now sadly closed - Chinese restaurant, I would have never known the difference. And there in lies what I think makes a good Chinese restaurant: predictability. American Chinese food is a distinct cuisine with the same menus, the same waving Buddah and melamine plates. The difference is quality, and the taste of your favorite meal. I am sad that my favorite place closed, but Beijing Tokyo is my new Chinese food restaurant, and I think it's pretty darn good.

Words that one never imagined belongs in one sentence…read more We ordered the beef shank luosifen, little spicy (spicy condiments available to make more spicy) and it was just heavenly. The from scratch broth, pleasant aroma from sour bamboo, crunchy string beans (wish there was an option to add!!) were phenomenal. Plus the tender yet collagenous beef shank cooked to perfection was phenomenal. Absolutely stick to your bones without the usual heaviness with big spicy noodle soups. No MSG headaches here, all the flavor is homegrown. The stinky tofu was also fried to perfection, with a side of Taiwanese kimchi. All the food was thoughtfully prepared and executed. We had our noodles fall apart and Yan corrected it immediately. She took the time to talk about her story of how she opened the restaurant originally to support her daughters college, her natural gift at cooking, and how her recipe was developed originally from a family one to what it is today. Just the warmest, most welcoming people. Even short staffed, we were impressed at how faultless and prepared from the heart the food was, warm and inviting the service, and leaving feeling like we just ate at our favorite auntie's house. Will definitely be back!!
