My husband and I just moved to Rohnert Park 1 year ago but we've never tried this location before. Today I tried it and Let me just say I was impressed and will always come back ! I was a walk in and the guy taking my order; Bryan, that's what my receipt says, was quick to take my order and get started on it along with his co worker. Both of the guys seem young (maybe teenagers) but had great customer service 5/5. The wait was quick. Maybe about 13 minutes. The pizza It's so delicious I got a Hawaiian with extra pineapple and a Murphys Combo. They're honestly huge ! I thought the pizzas would be smaller. The taste They are so good and crispy I put them on the oven at 375 for 18 min and they are perfect the instructions are not so clear for me but I managed. Great experience whatsoever! read more

My wife and I were regular customers since we moved to Rohnert park several years ago. A few months ago we ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. Sadly, I had stomach issues that lead to a Gastrointestinal issues; that's a nicer way of putting it. It had been a couple months ago and I thought maybe it was a reaction to the BBQ sauce. So last night Ordered a Ham and Pinapple. Well.... I found out it wasn't the BBQ Sauce. It's become obvious that they changed a major ingredient in the pizza or changes a supplier to save on cost. It was getting late and had no idea what I wanted to eat for dinner so I figured I would try some Papa Murphy's since it has been so long and used to have really good experiences here. Ordered a crustless pizza bowl and this is what I got. This was the thinnest pizza bowl I have ever seen the toppings were thinner than what you would get on a regular pizza. So I decided to call and let them know what happened, usually in the situations, in an effort to keep customers happy they would be compassionate about the situation and offer some kind of recourse for the mess up. Not this time. Nope. The girl who answers the phone immediately starts off with a non welcoming answering of the call. I begin to describe the issue and she has no interest in helping me so I sense the lack of concern and ask for a manager. She talks to someone in the background then proceeds to tell me there are no managers there. I asked what about a shift manager anyone? She says no. I immediately get the sense she is brushing me off because she didn't even offer to have one call me later or instruct me when to call back for one, nothing. With this on top of the constant tone of attitude I had got from her since the first second I figure it's a good idea for me to get her name so tomorrow when I call back I can reference talking to this very unhelpful person. So i ask her what is your name. You wouldn't believe this. She says, I'm not giving you my name. I said oh really why is that. She said I don't have to because I'm a minor. She proceeded to repeat herself two more times that she is a minor and won't give up her name until I interrupted her to say I GOT IT!!! Basically there was no point keeping up this shares with this child as she obviously has no concept of what running a business is like nor what customer service is. Not giving her name is just an excuse because she was kicking so much attitude she likely didn't want to be held accountable for her poor choice of words and behavior. The Luisa want the only thing that was unacceptable. But looks like I was served two servings of SH#% That night. One from the food and the other from the staff. That will teach me to expect to have my food prepared in an acceptable way. Likely won't be returning to this papa Murphy's or and of the local ones because they are all owned by the same person. If this is the quality of service they have at one location I likely dodged a bullet not going to another one. read more

Asked at the desk, instead of calling (they have my number). They ran out of pineapple so they didn't make the pizza. Asked if I would make another choice. My problem is THEY SHOULD HAVE CALLED! My family has gone to Papa Murphy's practically my whole life. I'm 23 now, and it is still fantastic. They have some of the most delicious, best-quality pizza around. Every time I go in, the store is very neat and clean. The workers are nice and respectful. The prices are very affordable, yet the quality and taste aren't compromised because of it. During the pandemic, I try to limit the amount of time I spend indoors in public areas to help with social distancing. I always order online, then drive there to pick it up. When I order online, the order is always ready within 5-10 minutes! And unlike other places I've gone to, their online order system is excellent! The menu is simple and intuitive, easy to use. This is going to be a short review, because the amount of time I spent at Papa Murphy's was short. Which is exactly what made my experience great. My girlfriend isn't feeling well, so we wanted to do dinner in. We ordered online, were able to split the pizza we wanted in half, in order to get some topping varieties, and set the time we wanted to pick it up. It took me less than ten minutes to get there. I walked in, went to the online order area, they asked for my name, and BOOM. Done. I was in and out of Papa Murphy's in less than 30 seconds. They are efficient! Pizza was good, the cooking directions were exactly right, and within about 15 minutes of getting home, we were eating our cooked pizza. I just ordered a pizza today - the family size Cowboy. I went right home and I noticed there was a huge bubble in the dough - I pushed it down and unwrapped it and it smelled funny. It smelled like yeast dough - and the dough had been left out long enough to rise! Hence the bubble!! I tried cooking it and it still smelled off, and when I opened the oven the smell was foul. I called them and I had to take the pizza back - which I did and it was as if they didn't care. They were apologetic but now I'm out TWO trips to the store and it cost me $$$ in gas. I used to go here pretty often. Recently they've hired some younger people that have 'I don't care. My job is so hard' attitudes. The young man in there makes faces and shakes his head as you're ordering while having an attitude. And when I got just a basic pepperoni today they put a very thin layer of sauce, to the point I had to question if there was actually any on it, and only half had that poor excuse of sauce on it. Barely any cheese as well and didn't even bring any of it near the crust line. Such a giant let down. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but this is multiple times now of the same issue with the piss poor attitudes. Management needs to take a look at the people they're hiring. And yet they demand more pay? Already over minimum wage for a minimum effort/education job. Yet they still have horrible attitudes and do poor half asses jobs. Waste of money. read more

The pizza is much better than it has been in previous years, however customer service is lacking big time. Ordered our pizza online on our way to pick it up. 5:30 on a Monday, figured couldn't be that bad. Figured at least it would be in their system if there was a line. Arrived to find two girls working. Was able to walk right up to the cash register, as there was nobody else in the shop, but instead of being greeted by a smile, or even a simple "hello", was met with an angry, frowning, obviously pissed off employee, who basically "reprimanded" me for ordering online and then showing up right away. Her exact words, "Don't ever order online and then show up right after. We don't even get the order printed for 10 minutes before the scheduled pick up time." I smiled and tried to make light of it, but she continued to frown and treat me like I broke a sacred Papa Murphy's law, and finished ringing me up, then abruptly announced it would be 10 minutes. While she and the other girl started so "enthusiastically" making our pizza, another customer came in, and the unhappy employee rolled her eyes and sighed. The phone started ringing and she ordered her co-worker to "let it ring". She was finished with our pizza in about 3 minutes, shouted my name, and tossed the pizza on the counter for me to pick up. I commented in a happy voice, "Wow, that was a quick 10 minutes!" Not once did she smile, or say thank you, as I again, tried to engage her with eye contact to get her to at least "attempt" to give me any sign of positive customer service. Will I be back? Of course. The pizza is great and even with the worst customer experience one could imagine, I don't blame the franchise. I'm sure the girl will be rude to the wrong person, and they will report her behavior to the right person. I don't want to be that person, responsible for some poor college student losing her job though. So, she will remain nameless. Sorry Cotati staff - you're terrible. Now I personally think giving a place a bad review based on just one occurrence isn't too fair. So let me first state that this review is based on several recent occurrences in the last 2 months. First of all - we have used Papa Murphys for feeding our hungry clan for well over 10 years. Over that time between my husband and I, we have ordered hundreds o pizzas. In fact Papa Murphy's is on our dinner table at least 2-3 times per month. With that said, I'd like to explain the utter disappointment and outright disrespect that the folks at the Cotati location have shown us. We have used this place 4 times in the last 6 weeks. Two times the orders were completely incorrect. As a family we do not order odd combinations, make difficult requests, or any of the sort. We may order a pizza at "half this - half that", or perhaps with white sauce as oppose to red, but other than that - we are pretty simple. The last time that my husband was in to pick up a pizza they: 1) Forgot the order. (We arrived 20 minutes after the actual "ready" time, just to make sure that it would be ready) 2) When they finally started, half way through the "pizza guy" made a mistake and had to stop. ***** At this point you think he would tell my husband, apologize, and start a new pizza. NOPE. 3) They disregarded the fact that he was standing right there and started making pizzas on another order. When my husband asked them a) Why did you stop? and b) Why didn't you tell me? They began to give him tons of excuses to the tune of "We are really busy" "It's Oscar night" etc etc. When my husband asked for some sort of compensation for waiting nearly FORTY minutes for a pizza that wasn't even complete - the Supervisor offered "a complimentary side" That was it. He asked for his "complimentary money back please" and we left. We went down the street to a competitor - spent the same amount of money and had a pizza COOKED hot and ready within 15 minutes. When I want to grab a pizza and get home, I'm going here. I love the take and bake concept. This location has always had fast service. They know you want to get your pie and get home. I've tried to call ahead a couple of times. A little slow to pick up the phone. I just came over and got it made. They've been making premade salads and stuff to just grab and go. I didn't realize the state of this papa Murphy's until I visited the Petaluma one and realized the pizza was way better, more topping. The staff here is hit or miss. There is one really amazing guy, and one amazing girl. I think the girl has tats but is really sweet. The rest we have encountered.... like the other reviews have stated, just lacks customer service skills. I think four stars is fair, it reflects that it isn't incredible pizza, but it isn't exactly trying to be. Papa Murphy's is great for when you want a lot of decent pizza without having to spend much money. A good choice for parties or having family/friends over. My boyfriend and I went here only because we had to flee the surly service at Baja Fresh in RP (or Rodent Pubes--whichever you prefer). We then found the service to be surly as well at PM, and it was just plain funky inside, and sweltering. I got a weird feeling inside, and hoped that the food was clean.
