Keto crustless pizza was so skimpy, not close to considered a meal for just one person
    Mister R.

It was getting late and had no idea what I wanted to eat for dinner so I figured I would try some Papa Murphy's since it has been so long and used to have really good experiences here. Ordered a crustless pizza bowl and this is what I got. This was the thinnest pizza bowl I have ever seen the toppings were thinner than what you would get on a regular pizza. So I decided to call and let them know what happened, usually in the situations, in an effort to keep customers happy they would be compassionate about the situation and offer some kind of recourse for the mess up. Not this time. Nope. The girl who answers the phone immediately starts off with a non welcoming answering of the call. I begin to describe the issue and she has no interest in helping me so I sense the lack of concern and ask for a manager. She talks to someone in the background then proceeds to tell me there are no managers there. I asked what about a shift manager anyone? She says no. I immediately get the sense she is brushing me off because she didn't even offer to have one call me later or instruct me when to call back for one, nothing. With this on top of the constant tone of attitude I had got from her since the first second I figure it's a good idea for me to get her name so tomorrow when I call back I can reference talking to this very unhelpful person. So i ask her what is your name. You wouldn't believe this. She says, I'm not giving you my name. I said oh really why is that. She said I don't have to because I'm a minor. She proceeded to repeat herself two more times that she is a minor and won't give up her name until I interrupted her to say I GOT IT!!! Basically there was no point keeping up this shares with this child as she obviously has no concept of what running a business is like nor what customer service is. Not giving her name is just an excuse because she was kicking so much attitude she likely didn't want to be held accountable for her poor choice of words and behavior. The Luisa want the only thing that was unacceptable. But looks like I was served two servings of SH#% That night. One from the food and the other from the staff. That will teach me to expect to have my food prepared in an acceptable way. Likely won't be returning to this papa Murphy's or and of the local ones because they are all owned by the same person. If this is the quality of service they have at one location I likely dodged a bullet not going to another one.

    three pizzas on a counter

In these hard times this business did a fundraiser for our daughter's school last night where they gave 15% back to her school. I've driven by the business but never actually eaten from here until yesterday. I was blown away. The gal and guy working were very polite and kicking out pizzas etc quickly. Got home, had friends over and I was again shocked by how good the quality and taste is of all the different pizzas (kids loved the smores too!)

Found pieces of plastic in pizza

We bought a half Hawaiian and half meat pizza and found several pieces of what seem to be plastic pieces in the pie. We will never go to Papa Murphys in Cotati again.

I love their Mediterranean salads. $5!

Good value for the price; sometimes the ingredients fluctuate giving you less toppings than you've had before.

I was taken away by the decor, the pool table, and a small arcade. This is definitely a place that you come and hangout with some friends. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their pizza, and they really took care of me when I told them it was my first time there. They told me that they serve New York style and Detroit style pizza. I'll have to try Detroit someday, but for now I focused on New York style. I ordered a spicy sausage pizza and a pepperoni which had hot honey. I only ever had hot honey in Los Angeles, so I was hoping it would be delicious. The spicy sausage pizza was delicious, flavors were balanced and I tasted everything they laid out. The pizza is thin so it's definitely New York style and the crust was so crispy and light. The thing I love about New York style pizza is just how edible the crust are. I feel like you can just have them as breadsticks and I would buy them. The hot honey pizza was an out of the world flavor. If I had to pick one pizza for anyone to try it's this New York Pepperoni with hot honey. This is an amazing balance of sweet and savory. The first bite really took my tastebuds on a ride and I was ready for another. The pepperoni pizza wasn't too greasy and the honey just really brought the flavor altogether. I had hot honey in LA, now I'm glad to say, I don't need to go to LA for that. If you have a desire for pizza, look no further than Acre Pizza!

We thought the food was good. The pizza had a sourdough crust and was really good. The salad was fresh and had a good dressing. Customer service: 5/5 We had great customer service from the staff that was working. They were polite, quick and had the restaurant cleaned up nicely. Ambiance: 5/5 They had a few pinball machines reasonably priced (50 cents a game) and a pool table that was free to play. It was nice to play a game with the boys after enjoying our food. They also had plenty of seating between indoors and their outdoor patio. Price: 2.5/5 I thought it was a little over priced, but I know this is pretty normal for eating out at a place like this. The pizza was about $8-9 a slice, the salad it was $19 ($14 +$5 for the chicken). The total for 3 slices and a salad was about $50. Overall, it was good and we had a nice time eating here on our family outing.

Carly, our excellent server, was prompt, friendly and as knowledgeable as she could be for a new employee to the establishment. My guess? Art probably established an excellent real Italian restaurant with authentic recipes and hopefully homemade pasta. He has since passed away, and I am sorry to say, whatever authenticity went with him. The vibe is a bar pizza joint, and I hope they serve a good pizza pie. The linguine and clams (I asked if it was a garlic sauce) was loaded with clams. That is where the dish ended. It had linguine noodles and a sauce made up of clam juice butter and lemon. I could not taste garlic, so she brought some raw garlic to toss in. The lasagna tasted like canned meat sauce poured over a bland dish of pasta. The chicken noodle soup had tasty chicken, but the overload of oregano was too much, we couldn't eat it and were not offered to have it removed from the bill. The Caesar salad was mayo heavy, could taste lemon and had sliced Parmesan on top. Tiramisu was not umptious either. For the cost of the meal, I will pass. We will try a pizza in the future, hopefully it is their saving grace. Oh, they should learn how to make pasta as well, instead of buying boxed pre made.

The variety and freshness of the greens really stood out. As a vegetarian, I initially hesitated when I saw what looked like bacon bits, but the owner kindly assured me they were seasoned breadcrumbs -- such a creative and delicious touch. I ordered the potato pizza, and my granddaughter chose the pepperoni. She devoured nearly the entire pizza in record time, so I think it's safe to say she gives it five stars! My potato pizza was the bomb -- bursting with flavor. The pickled peppers added the perfect tangy kick. Both pizzas had that wonderful thin, crispy crust that I absolutely love. The service was friendly and attentive. While the pizzas are on the smaller side and perhaps a bit higher in price, the fresh, quality ingredients make it worthwhile. I also appreciated seeing a Palestinian soda in the refrigerator case, with 50% of the proceeds going toward a Palestine support fund -- a thoughtful and meaningful touch. I'm especially looking forward to warm evenings when I can walk the half mile from my home and enjoy dinner on the patio. We'll definitely be back!

(FYI, I'm super woo :)) Then, my sister-in-law raved about it, declaring it the best pizza she's ever had. (Or something incredibly declarative like that.) We decided to give it a try. Upon walking in, Fugazi was playing in the shop. That was a good sign. When do you ever hear Fugazi playing at an establishment nowadays, the last time was probably in a record shop in the 90s. The pizzas are displayed, and you choose how much of each pizza you'd like and they will cut some off for you and it is priced by weight. Then, they heat it up for you to melt the cheese, and viola! Served with cloth napkins, pizza scissors, if desired when eating-in. (Truly the most brilliant way to cut pizza!) Immediately, I saw "OG Potato" and that was a must have. It was something like Potato, ricotta, chile oil, mozzarella, dill. (Just to cut to the chase on this one, it was incredible! I am obsessed with ricotta, and there was something about all the combination of flavors especially the dill that gave some freshness amongst the rich taste of everything else.) Others we got were the pepperoni, a 4 cheese, and a vegan one with no cheese, just tomato sauce, roasted garlic, olives (there may have been other stuff on it, but that's what I remember) Everything was incredible, even the vegan one. The tomato sauce was so high quality, and I was glad there wasn't any vegan cheese on it. Just veggie tastiness in its purest form. The sourdough crust was light and fluffy. It was all just so high quality, and you can feel the passion for their food. Oh yeah, I almost forgot a big star: the Kale Caesar. Don't sleep on that one. It's one of the best salads we've had in years. It was flavorful, with bits of sunflower seeds to give it crunch. Dressing was on-point with a mountain of fluffy parm on top. And so here's the thing with the current state of eating establishments. There is so much expensive mediocre food out there. Nowadays, you may pay $12 for a salad that's out of a bag with wilted ends and sorry baby carrots. And so, considering there's a place that's putting beautifully intentional food out there, I'd rather choose to go to the place that is high quality and cares about their food and sustainability. We topped off our experience with soft serve and a cookie. The soft serve was amazing. We got it 'eat-in' and it was high quality soft-serve in a whimsical cup and presidential spoons. (Love the sustainability angle, but also the whimsy) You can get it with olive oil and sea salt and other toppings, but I went pure. It was milky and homey, and just gooood. (My hubs wanted the cookie) Not to mention, service was genuine. There was a slow, no-rush vibe to this place that might piss some people off. But given its name, I feel like it's apt. It's Psychic Pie for god's sake, and the ethereal does not rush. In the ethereal, time doesn't exist!!! (lol) You can feel that every part of this establishment is in the vision of its owner, wanting the experience to be a part of their authenticity and values. And we need more of that in this world right now. (And I don't mean some skewed sense of 'authenticity' as in just saying whatever comes to mind and is 'in your face' that has infiltrated our society today) This is true authenticity I'm talking about - an expression of your own Light essence. (See, I told you I'm woo) Speaking of which, the music continued to be my jam at my time here... likely to be a Pixies radio mix, with awesome 90s punk / indie. Some songs I hadn't heard in decades but love. So, it was like entering into someone's establishment that's part of my soul tribe. So, if any of the above sound like your jam too... give it a try!
