Excellent selection of foods ranging from Mexican cheese enchiladas and nachos, to American chicken nuggets and french fries, to Italian pizza and some pasta to the obligatory Chinese food. Not all of the food was especially good but some general things stood out. The overall quality of the food was good. The place was clean in general - floors and serving areas were clean and tables were quickly attended to. Serving areas are well organized and stocked with fresh food - from what we could tell food was not just sitting there for long. The salad bar was very good with plenty of choices and plenty of food choices throughout. The Mongolian BBQ was especially popular at lunch - we did not try and settled for the buffet items. The Chinese food was OK...Better than other Chinese buffets we've tried. Noodles were underseasoned and bland and rice wasn't very good, but the meat entrees were mostly delightful. Mexican was OK and Italian was also OK. Alfredo sauce was a bit funky. Dessert selection was very good and plentiful. The price was the kicker here...Good stuff for just under $9 for lunch. I finally got a chance to try this place out after driving by it many times in the last few weeks. The first thing that came to mind was if this is the same Paradise Buffet that used to be on Colima in Rowland Heights where Banana Bay Thai Restaurant currently is. The previous Paradise Buffet was awesome but from what I heard, it burned down. This place wasn't quite the Paradise Buffet I remembered from RH but the place was very clean and the food wasn't bad. This is a bit better than your average Chinese buffet as there is a better variety of food. You have the typical Chinese/Asian choices (fried rice, lo mein, variety of chicken dishes) the American stuff (meatloaf, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, onion rings, and etc, a salad bar, a Mongolian BBQ grille which is front and center, fountain drinks and a dessert bar with a chocolate fountain! Forget Golden Corral as the nearest one is in Hesperia. This place is fairly inexpensive for lunch and dinner and there is plenty of seating. Parking is free and plentiful so call up your friends if you're craving something more than just Hometown Buffet. read more

I think this place is busy because the cheap price. Although, 30 bucks for dinner that made me sick...I dont think so. Everything is flavorless, dirty and the food is kinda cold. The salad bar is absolutely disgusting. All their fried food is basked in baking powder to the point where you can taste it. It seems as if the chefs (if can be called that) are half-assing their jobs to feed the many people lining up outside the door. The service is good though. Will not be going back. While Paradise Buffet is clean, bright and attractive, the food is only mediocre. Most of it is very bland and nothing special. At $8.49 for a weekday lunch, it's a moderate value if you typically eat a lot for lunch. Service was friendly, but I was not able to get my water refilled. I wanted to go to the Paradise Buffet a few weeks ago but ended up going to Homestyle Buffet instead (what a disappointment). Last night my kids and I went and WOW! I was impressed, very clean and organized. All the trays were full, unlike some buffets where you find one peice of dried out chicken left and have to wait for a new tray. And the Mongolian BBQ, (Do-it-yourself stir fry) was amazing!! Lots of choices, even for kids and healthy choices, too. The kitchen staff was very helpful. I was looking for sweet and sour sauce and he actually walked me over to it instead of just pointing towards it and walking away. (That kind of customer service earns big points in my book.) Great price for what you get! Monday night $10.99 adult and $0.85 per year for kids ($4.25 for my 5 year old, much better than a Happy Meal, $7.65 for my 9 year old and he got 4 plates of food and hit the chocolate fountain twice!) Been here a couple of times, the place looks superb, new looking, clean, and has a large selection of food with top of the line restrooms. This buffet is so big that the restrooms seem to be a mile away from the table. My rating based on value, price, taste, and selection. Value wise it is 5 out of 5 stars, price wise 3 out of 5 stars, taste wise 4 out of 5 stars, 5 out of 5 stars for selection, and service 5 out of 5 stars. Overall the quality is excellent. However, the price is high, but the food selection makes it well worth it. This place offers great fresh Mongolian with chief in the middle and many more items like running chocolate milk from fountain if you wish. Again, excellent selection of desert ranging from donuts, cake, ice cream, rice crisps, etc. Overall, great restaurant to take a big family and is way better than hometown and golden corral. I believe they honor senior and military discount, but still priced over $12 per person, but you pay to have the wide selection and quality. Worth it if your wallet is full, otherwise, you may skip it because of price. Usually it is packed, so there may be a wait period, but its worth it. read more

I've been here 3 times and all the 3 times the food was awesome! I love the mongolian BBQ station! By far worth the price alone! My reason for not giving 5 stars is the booths really need a deep cleaning. I've sat in them on 2 occasions and they really are gross. But the food is so darn good. I've been to quite a few of buffets and I mus say this place just isn't up to par. The idea and concept is great... Asian food with a mixture of American food, but nothing really tasted good. The salad bar did not have the usual fixings such as mushrooms. The food all tasted the same. The desert bar looked wonderful but the brownies were crispy and stale. Use to come here a lot when they had first opened and the food was really good. Over the last couple of years the quality of food and taste has declined. I work in the food industry and know the difference between good quality food and not so good food. I came here recently in September 2014 and the food was just not good at all. No flavor and some of the food was just bland. I served myself 5 small portions of food to taste it and it was cold by the time I sat down to eat. Maybe the AC was set too high and cooled off the food by time I sat down, I don't know but it was not even warm. I believe they have a time temperature control problem with their food that's why it's cold by the time I sit down to eat it. Went out and got another plate of food with 3 other food items, sat down quickly to take a bite out of the 3 items of food and only 1 out of 3 was hot. I don't usually carry a thermometer with me to check the temperature of the food so I couldn't really check the temperature of the food. The food that sits on top is colder than the food on the bottom and that's why it's cold by the time I sit down. They should at least try and rotate it to keep the food on top from getting cold. Lot of buffet places resort by keeping the temperatures way below what the actual temperature supposed to be to keep the food from drying out in the chaffers. And it keeps the food looking more appetizing longer and that's a food violation and health code by violating the time temperature danger zone. I cant verify that since I didn't have a food thermometer with me to check it. But the food was definitely cold by the time I sat down to eat. Though some of the food items were warm or hot, but like I said 2 out of 9 food items I had was mostly cold. I also had some fried rice with vegetables and ham and the ham had an awful taste like it was expired or left out to long. I will not be coming back here ever again and for the price of what you pay for the food it's really not worth the price for awful and bland tasting food. That's my honest opinion of their food. The quality of food and flavor has really gone down since I had been here last. I've been to better buffets with really good tasting food and at better prices. And if you really want good Chinese food. Just go to Panda Express, they have never disappointed me. read more

We are always looking for a good buffet in town and we saw that Paradise Buffet had just opened. Based upon other Yelp reviews, we decided to give it a try. We had to wait in line for about 20 minutes for dinner on a Sunday. The price was $11.99 plus $1.99/ea for a drink. So, not too bad for an all you can eat dinner. The main attraction and best part of the buffet is definitely the Mongolian BBQ! The pistachio parfait and mushrooms in oyster sauce were quite tasty too. Everything else was just okay. The quality of the food is not top notch, but for the price, it is fine. The desserts were just okay. The strawberry and coffee mousse squares tasted very artificial and turned me off to the rest of the desserts. There were quite a few families with kids, so if you don't like this type of environment, this is probably not a good venue for you. If we go back, it will be to enjoy the Mongolian BBQ. read more

I have been wanting to eat at this restaurant since it opened, but haven't had the time. It had to be the worst experience that I have ever had at a buffet. My main complaint is that the food was cold!! The trays are steaming, but by the time you get your plate back to the table and get a drink, your food is cold!! We did not try the Mongolian BBQ. Luckily I went to the salad bar and had a green salad or otherwise I would of left hungry. My son went to the dessert bar and brought back an assortment of goodies. I didn't think it was possible to ruin a brownie but they did. It was the driest thing I have ever eaten. I spoke with the manager before I left and he told me that it wasn't possible because they check the temperatures every hour. I tried to explain to him that it's not right that the food is cold so fast. They have so many things that are fried. I was truly afraid to eat the food. Have driven by this place several times over the years but never stopped in. Today was the day to try them out. Came here for lunch with a guest. $25 for two people. Going by the name I was thinking the place would be primarily Asian food. Large Mongolian grill right in the center of the food area. Large dessert island. Good variety of things at the salad island. Variety of Chinese, Mexican and American flavors otherwise in the food area. But as I mentioned going by the name, I was expecting a primarily Asian buffet type restaurant. But I was a little disappointed that the selection was small when it came to Asian food. The food was good and flavorful. The place was too much like a Hometown Buffet with the exception of the Mongolian grill in the center right up front. Would I go back? I think I'll drive the extra miles to the Chinese Buffet over in Fontana just off the 10 freeway across from the Kaiser Medical Center in the Target Shopping Center south of the freeway. They put this place to shame when it comes to Asian food and selection. read more

There are definitely great things going on in here, as I can declare this may be the best buffet I've been to, but there are also a couple of negatives you should know. First off, the lines seem to always be long, so you're thinking everything will be delicious - well it will, if you choose right. It is actually pretty big. They have Asian, American, comfort, salads, a grill, many desserts - just SO many choices for a low price. I had shrimp, and I loved all the shrimp plates I tried. The chow mein and asian food were also good, not great, but very edible. Their mashed potatoes are really yummy, the gravy is a nice topper. I mean they have fish, ham, turkey, pork, chicken, shrimp, everything your little heart can desire! But let me tell you, it wasn't perfect. I found a dirty utensil. Our table got stolen after we took 5 minutes to choose our dessert, the desserts suck, and the grill is too hot. For it being even slightly dirty that way is unacceptable. There are hundreds of people there every day, so it makes me wonder how well they really clean up. It was crazy to look back at our table and realize that our seats have been taken, and we were left to find another table - very very akward and uncomfortable. The desserts are no good, from the ice cream to chocolate fountain. The chocolate fountain is completely unsanitary - kids are pecking at it like no other, and who knows how clean people are, or if they double dip. The chocolate is circulated over and over again, and it can also attract air germs such as people sneezing, talking, or just being so close to it. It did not allure me. I mean the food is pretty good, but you gotta watch out for cleanliness .. Food poisoning is tough. And even though the mongolian grill food seems cool at first glance, it's super messy, and they burnt our noodles a bit, and mixed up our foods. I mean buffets seem okay, but with so many people there, you need to have way more workers cleaning up because it became very unsanitary after careful watching. read more

Went here today for lunch, food was pretty good. Loved the mushrooms w/ oyster sauce, little octopus, shrimp salad, chow mien, jalapeño chicken, sweet sour soup, and other asian dishes. There's a pretty big mangolian BBQ station there though wasn't my favorite, perhaps I just needed to add more sauces, it lacked flavor. Next time I would double the sauce so perhaps it would be more flavorfull. All in all, pretty good experience, left there completely stuffed. So much food! read more

Wooww the only reason I am mostly giving a 5 star rating is because of a waiter that was really nice and patient with us since we were waiting for more family members for like 2 hours. Can't believe people would give this place 5 stars and say the food is great! First of all, it's a large restaurant, I was there for lunch yesterday at around 2:00 and it was packed with lots and lots of small children running around screaming and yelling with no parental control, so that was annoying. Food very very ordinary, not hot, lots and lots of fried food. When in a Chinese restaurant, I always look around to see how many Chinese or Asians are there, because if they're there, that means they consider the food good, and I never saw even ONE Asian there! Clientele mostly large tattooed people (not that I care about looks but some people might). I did like the eggplant dish and one or two chicken dishes but overall, below average food. The absolute BEST Chinese buffet we've found is Luxe, located on the north side of the 10 freeway at Milliken, the best, fresh and tasty food and large selection of freshly made sushi with the chefs making it right in front of you. Large salad and fresh fruit bar. Teppanyaki grill, good steak sliced to order. Very reasonable prices for lunch.Tons of Asians eating here and you know what that means-good food!! And no screaming children running around and not noisy even though it's very busy at lunchtime. We like to go at 11:00, when they open. read more

I visited today all the way from inglewood to celebrate a birthday, and I must say it was by far THE WORST EXPERIENCE I've had at any buffet or restaurant for that matter. We decided to go for a relative's birthday, we were sat down at our table and everything was going fine until the waiters/waitresses began rushing us to leave. They even had the next party of people standing next to us eating while standing up. The waitress began picking up our plates well before we were done with them. It was a very uncomfortable having other strangers watching us eat and trying to rush us to leave the table, they even began to clean up the table for the next party while were still sitting down at the table. We ended up being frustrated and annoyed, it was embarrassing having a group of people standing next to our table staring where our family was having lunch. The staff did nothing to fix this. A simple birthday lunch was ruined, thanks to the unorganized staff that was sitting people. OVERALL A VERY DISAPPOINTING AND DISASTROUS VISIT. If it was possible I would give this place a negative star. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. TERRIBLE SERVICE. read more

I gave this 3 stars because all the food was unappetizing with barely any flavor. It was a sorry excuse of chow mein and shrimp rice. It was so bland i cant even describe it properly. The only good part is the mongolian bbq in the middle of the buffet where you choose what you want on your plate and they cook it for you. Another good thing was the many flavors of ice cream.
