The food is great! We love Persian food and they do it right. We did the basics as the starters and every 2 adults shared an entree and it was more than enough food. The service was great and all the servers were more than gracious. The new bartender even came to our table and went into depth on each of their specialty drinks. The ambiance is very nice. First time we dined at the restaurant, got the same very well done, sent it back and while everyone on my table had finished their food, mine arrived! A month later. Placed a pickup order and got the same type overcooked. Today was the third and last time of Pardis. When called and asked for a manager, someone else spoke with me saying that he's busy. When I insisted, he said I'll relay your complaint and said that he's saying "we can send you another one"! Go figure! I, really, really like this place. But it's kinda pricey. That being said, the food is really-really good. Pardis, a Persian restaurant, feels more like "higher class" dining, so to speak, than say, Raffis Place (the best Middle Eastern food in town). Pardis' Salmon is delish, the hummus is yum, and the portions are pretty large. The menu isn't that big, which is fine, and I hope this restaurant succeeds as the restaurant that was at this location (which was yum) didn't succeed (probably due to bad customer service). So, hopefully, Pardis focuses on service too because the food is awesome! read more

Stopped by for dinner prior to attending a Sunday evening concert. Food - delicious - had the Ocean Whitefish and Lamb Kabob. I make hummus and I love to eat hummus - Pardis is among the best in a huge bowl with thin fresh bread. Service - delightful. Our server assured us the house wines ($10 per glass) were very very good - and she was spot on! Ambiance - relaxed and nice at the same time. Last time we went there with our friends order the food and waited 50 over minutes. Not the waiter nor the manager came To check on us. So we asked to see the manager little we know that the manager accused us of lying about of time of order and tried to defend the waiter not the costumers. Our kids got full eating the appetizers and fell to sleep. It was such a disaster and sad situation. Used to love this place when they first renovated it. I haven't ordered food from them for 5 months and I was disappointed with my experience this time. Not only they increased their prices but also they made their portions so much smaller. The koobideh was not well shaped, it had big chunks. They used to give grilled onions with the grilled tomatoes and bellpepper but no onion this time. And the WORST part is that the raw onion they had was MOLDED!!! I threw away the top (worst) layer with mold they I took a picture of the smaller portion of the mold. What happened to this place??? Beat expectations. The service was exceptional. Waiter's name was Manuel, I think. We started off with the bread dipped in Kashk bademjoon (9/10) which rich and creamy. Roasted eggplant balanced with extra virgin olive oil and a creamy sauce. 2nd appetizer was Tahdig (7/10) crispy rice that is topped with a stew. Textured and layered nicely with crispy rice on the bottom, yellow split peas/beef stew topped with more rice (saffron rice? not sure). 1st entree was Beef Koobideh (9/10) can't really complain about this. Seasoning is on point. Might be a little too salty but the flavors are prominent. 2nd entree was Grilled white fish (7/10) was good, but wouldn't order again. I think the texture was off for me, seasoning was good though. This place has good food and better service. Ambiance was also very welcoming. read more
