Like some other Yelpers I too have been coming here since they barely opened and no one knew what Paris Baguette was! This was the O.G. P.B. for me. Their cakes are pretty good and perfect on taste and sweetness. I am not a cake person but enjoy P.B. cakes because they aren't too sweet. My mom LOVES this place! LOVES.THIS.PLACE. Any celebration where we can get cakes and treats she will use to get me to get her P.B. Her faves are the mocha cakes and the tiramisu chiffon. I think it was Tiramisu but know for sure it had chiffon at the end and had a slight coffee taste to it but very subtle. They give you free candles, and in the box comes a cake spatula that holds two little cute matches for your candles. For free. Yeah. I know! Great right! Whenever I need something to cheer me up on my lunch hour I head over to Paris Baguette! It's my favorite pastry shop.....ever. They have a wide array of pastry treats which I can never decide between, including some of the best looking and freshest fruit topped/stuffed flaky pastries, with whipped cream. They're always freshly prepared the same day, and I know this because they're often not ready if I try to go in before work (that just means I get to go back at lunch). Nothing is pre-packaged, it's all situated together in pull-out shelves that allow you to self-serve yourself whatever your little heart desires. In addition to the pastries they have a refrigerator with fresh sandwiches and juices - I tried a chicken salad sandwich and fresh O.J. the other day and it was delish - only $5 total. I've also had their turkey baguette, which was flavorful and didn't leave me with a grease coma like I would get from fast food. The cakes are beautiful in their simplicity, but a little pricy. In general, the prices vary for each of the pastries. You can get a mini flaky pastry topped with whipped cream and fresh fruit for $0.85 or a larger version for $2.50....I always come out with a box full of random delights, and on average I spend about $10 for 5-6 pastries. Ehh, over rated, in my opinion. Having to look for parking in a mall based parking lot, walk my way in, dodge car traffic, fight teeming pools of pre-adolecent kids hanging around at the mall, skirt baby strollers, deal with people walking slowly, or in general, making a nucance of themselves... no thanks. I'd rather spend my time at a small hole in the wall bakery, a less crowded one, or fight the BIG line at 85 degrees C. I didn't feel that their breads were exceptionally better in any way... most were cold, and the line for the cashier was a bit of a wait. Obsessed with this tasty cafe! Every time I visit the Cerritos Mall I always find myself walking in and looking at their yummy pastries, breads, and food. It is a bit on the pricier side, but they have some really unique food items that you can't necessarily find in other cafes or restaurants (like the croissant sushi). Anyway I've had several items from this place, one being this coffee cake croissant which was delicious- flakey, light, and not too sweet. It went great with coffee. I've also tried their cakes- it was a blueberry cake with frosting and it was amazing. Just like their other pastries it was light, fluffy, and just right with the sweetness. Either way this place is delicious and I am definitely a reoccurring customer both to this location and the one they have in Irvine which is inside the Zion Market. Personally like this place better than 85 degrees; their pastries taste better and it's not crowded and the wait is never long because it's kind of a hidden gem people don't know that well! read more

I think this place is okay. Since this place is in this really isolated and not happening type of plaza, it's not that busy. It's a cute place with many bakery. I feel the bakery is not that fresh though. I had a cronut here but it tasted sour. Its not normal. I've had cronuts at another location before and it wasn't as soft as it was. I think its a really old cronut that had gone bad. The drink I had was good though. It's one of the better tasting latte I had for that flavor. I expected better pastry from Paris Baguette though. I don't think I wanna come here for the bakery. There are a few seatings with 2 small 2 seater tables outside. Its not good for large parties. read more

I love coming here in the morning for some freshly baked pastry and coffee. It's always clean and never too crowded. It has a quaint neighborhood bakery feel.... Much different from the Paris bakery at the Cerritos Mall. My favorite is their toasted sandwich with ham and cheese. It's very cute how they cute the toast into four bite size pieces. They only have it in the morning since they make it fresh so make sure you get there early enough before they run out ^_^ read more

This particular spot never has enough of anything.. They always seem to have one or two of a certain pastry and thats it. Mornings are pretty much the same as well... I dont get it but its never super busy like the 85 degrees but its never really stocked up as well. Im not a frequent but i have done morning noon and night stop ins and ...Its the same. I LOVE this place! It's beautifully decorated, it's always super clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Their small cheesecakes are $7 and are so light and airy... it's not at all dense but rather what you would get if pound cake and cheesecake hand a baby! It's so delicious! This location (Cerritos - Carmenita ) always seems to run out or don't have a variety of goods I thought this was due to me always coming around 7 pm so I decided to go early and I came across the same issue very disappointed :( since half the time I'm always craving it I was shock to see that their location at the Cerritos mall had a better variety of goods couple days before Christmas when it's their busiest time and this location always lacks on having anything don't get me wrong their pastries are good and place is really nice and clean but they never seem to have the pastries I like :( that's why 3 stars. read more

I really enjoy their pastries and iced lattes. They usually have a pretty good selection of baked goods. Just beware because everything looks and sounds good so you can easily walk out of their with $20 worth of sweets. I've purchased a sandwich once and wasn't impressed, so I'll probably stay away from those. The lattes are good, a little on the stronger side but still very good. The employees are friendly and overall the place is good. It does take a bit to get your drink, but if you aren't in a hurry, give it a shot. read more

Always good except for today. I specifically always buy a certain sandwich there and as if they're out, they can make it before the cook leaves at 2pm. Today I walked in and they were out of that sandwich, as always, and asked if they could please make it. They said "not today." They offered no reason why. The guy looked new to me as I hadn't seen him there before. I told him they always make it because they run out constantly. Mind you, it's not even midday yet. All they could come up with is "I guess there just aren't ingredients today." Are you kidding me? You're a business and you have no ingredients today. I told them that was horrible. The desserts here are killer! Everything is fresh and tastes amazing, no matter what you order. We ordered a cake and they not only put the name on it for you, but they include birthday candles with a knife to cut the cake and put it in a cute box with a handle for easy carrying. There customer service is always amazing and they are always suggesting great things to go with your order. Definitely come here more than once a week now. read more

No doubt the best Paris Baguette location. Cakes and pastries are baked to perfection. I gave 4 stars because of the chicken salad crunch sandwich. It's our family's favorite for years and we have seen a decline in the quality of the sandwich. It still tastes good but for the price, it's not worth it for us. so i bought a cake at the other location. hadnt tried it yet since it was being saved for later on in the evening. i came here to get my nephews some treats...since they were behaving that day....well so far pretty neat idea - self serve. you get your tray, your tongs, and youre good to go. most are a little over a dollar, and the more larger ones are over 1.50. i was soo happy that i thought i found my Portos substitute nearby...but i didnt i will say this...service was excellent... however, these pastries were so tough. when you bit into a pastry, it should be soft, flaky and buttery. i had to tear through the last layer of pastry. my teeth literally ripping the pastry away. maybe they werent fresh? it was after 1 pm. i dunno. a suggestion would be to change the name. this would put Parisians to shame. ive had better French pastries in a filipino bakery than i had here. i dont want to be mean, but thats my wallet talking, having spent nearly 15 bucks to sample everything, and with each bite, getting the same disappointing result. but, by reading these above average reviews, i think that i will try it again, perhaps in the early morning, since that is guaranteed freshness...i hope. read more

Talk about feeling like a kid in a candy shop again. But the great thing now is as an adult you can actually buy everything you want. This was my first at a Paris Baguette and man little did I know what I've been missing. I've always thought they were a Vietnamese sandwich shop which I'm not a big fan of. The presentation of all the baked goods and the nice interior of this place had my mind in the clouds. I was just admiring all the goods, before a lady realized I wasn't even carrying a tray or anything and explained to me how I should put the pastries into a box so I could actually eat them. Neat idea huh. So I went home with a fresh fruit pasty (see Mike's pic) which was awesome, and a couple other things I don't remember but were good. So I'm not sure if it warrants a 3 or a 4 because I came late so my pastries that I ate were so-so. Either way, I've had old pastries and they were way better than this place. Not saying that this place is not good- it is but I've had better options before. I went and got the Belgian waffle, croissant and milk bread. Everything was good but I do feel that it's over priced for the quality of the breads that we got. I love croissants and it's one of my favorite bread items in the world but the best part of it is to bite into it and to hear each of those delicate layers crack into a flaky deliciousness in your mouth. Their croissants didn't do that. They weren't flaky enough and the crust didn't break when your teeth bit into it but that may be because we were there so late. OK I was fooled by the name. I saw a Asian Baguette place on carmenita blvd and thought id find some vietnamese-style banh mi, oh man was I in for a surprise. This place was full of pastries and no sandwiches with head cheese, jalepanos, cilantro, dicon and that savory buttery-mayo. They have fancy cakes here, lots of Korean stuff here.
