Bakery can't work online apps and DELIVERED A CAKE WITH THE WRONG NAME! I placed an order for a cake at 10AM this morning, expecting it to at least be at my location by noon. I'm working from home, so over 2 hours pass by and I check my postmates app to see that my order was received but delayed so it's taking longer than expected. Giving this location a call, I'm told that 1. This location doesn't deliver by Postmates 2. My order wasn't received 3. I probably ordered from another location nearby that's closed I told them that I ordered through postmates, was charged, and told that my order was received at THAT location. Whoever spoke to me suggested I cancel my order THAT I PAID THE MERCHANT FOR (couldn't be refunded). Not happening, so I called back and spoke to the manager Andrew who pretty much told me the same thing before adding "oh yeah, uh, the cake for Carlos? We did get the order" Okayyyyy so ??? He then admits to saying he did get the order, that he told the driver to come back at 2PM for it, (even though the cake was ready at 12PM), and that I should try reordering on the app. Then he explained to me his business dealings with Postmates and asked me to call them. I wasn't even assigned a driver because he wouldn't mark my order as ready for pickup so that's impossible. I first have to say that I have been a costumer at Paris Baguette for 14 yr now . I lived next door to one in K town on Western. I have always loved there delicious treats, this is why I'm shocked , saddened, disappointed, and felt compelled to warn others before you make the same mistake I have made giving my money to this place. First off everything has tripled in price , but that was not even the biggest problem . I placed an order last night , thinking everything is made fresh in the morning so I will get completely fresh baked pastries. My Order was dropped off at my door in the morning in an unsealed open box , nothing was put into individual packages nor was there a bag , so it could have been touched handled or exposed to anything , by everyone whom previously handled them . When you order food online especially that was not cheap it should be handled and packaged with care.... Than the quality of the pastries was horrible it was not good at all. This place has a reputation for high quality delicious desert and after being a customer for 14 yrs that was not at all what I received. I called and to complain about the state that my delivery was in and they said they would have another fresh order ready to pick up , so I went to pick it up and the only think that changed was the fact that it was packaged correctly. the order that was dropped off at my door and the replacement order I picked up were terrible . Beware!! I would avoid coming here during this Covid-19 time. Everything is super old and they're even taking old cakes and frosting them as other flavors. I am writing this review to share my disappointment in the cake I ordered on 05/24/2020. I placed an order over the phone early in the morning for a tiramisu cake for my Mom's birthday (this is her favorite cake from Paris Baguette). I also requested for a fresh cake because I've previously received an old one before from here. I was assured over the phone that the tiramisu cake was fresh and made that morning. Fast forward to the cake, this was definitely a VERY old cake. The cake itself was a pound cake with lemon flavor, similar to almost a boxed cake mix. I honestly think they took an old cake and refrosted it with tiramisu cream. I called the store immediately to notify them and ask if maybe they gave me the wrong cake. The tiramisu cake has been our family's go to flavor for years, so I know what it's supposed to taste like. The lady on the phone said she's never tried the tiramisu flavor and didn't know what it's supposed to taste like. I then asked if she could have the manager check if the recipe has changed or if I was given the wrong cake. Surprisingly, the manager said they changed their recipe and that was it. Didn't even bother helping us or checking how old the cake was. So I guess the Tiramisu flavor at Paris Baguette is now a lemon flavor cake... horrible! Happened to be in the area and stopped at Dollar Tree next door for a few items and saw that this was here! One of my favorite stops in Cerritos mall (was told by the cashier they are no longer there). Place is very clean and it wasn't crowded at all for the time of morning (10ish). Large variety of pastries and other delectables were available. Ended up getting cheese danish and blueberry cheese danish. Both were delicious (devoured at separate times of course). I agree with one of the reviews, the staff needs to be more jovial or welcoming at least especially in the morning. It's just part of customer service. There are lots of goodies to choose from. Pastries, sandwiches, savory and sweet bread, hot and cold drinks. I didn't like one of the bread I bought which is the ham and cheese bread. Tasted not fresh. I had called ahead of time and the male employee talking to me was very polite. The employees working on Christmas Day were amazing, so kind and respectful. The girls and I were picking up dinner from Otto Kitchen when they saw there was a Paris Baguette in the same shopping center. It had been a while since they had been to one and they had to visit to get some bread and other baked goodies. The labels indicate allergens which is helpful for those with food allergies. The girls filled up their tray with a butter cream bread, passion fruit mochi donut, a vegan blueberry muffin, a loaf of milk bread, garlic sausage pastry, a berry tart, a heavenly cheesecake, and a soft strawberry cake. Daughter also got for Mom the seasonal peppermint hot chocolate. It was after 5 p.m. and they had to check if there was still hot chocolate. Mochi donuts may not be the bakery's specialty. Daughter has enjoyed other bakery's mochi donuts more. The fruits on the berry tart looked fresh and the blueberries were huge. They were promoting the soft strawberry cake and the peppermint hot chocolate. The Blitzen's Blueberry Chiffon Cake looked good, but there were no more slices. The staff has always been friendly & inviting making this place a hidden gem in my book. Just be mindful that the pastries do run out in the afternoon sometimes, so get them early. This is a five star review for their sweet potato came. My sister has been getting it for my birthday every year since that is the cake I request every time. We usually call ahead and pick up the next day. I love that Paris baguette gives nice long candles and a slicer with a candle matchstick scratcher. As for the cake, ask them to make sure it hasn't been sitting in the freezer as I had it one year where the sweet potato filling was frozen (so my guess is that the filling is prepped ahead of time and it is in the freezer). read more

We grabbed a pair of tongs and papered a tray as we picked the pastries from behind their clear plastic lids. Pastries usually ranges between $1.75 to $3.25 each. Service was fine such that we waited in line to buy the pastries and waited for the cashier to count each of them before making our purchase. The whole red bean bread is round bun filled with very sweet red bean paste and it was quite delicious. The apple pie is a square crusty croissant with a sugared exterior and apple filling inside. The chocolate croissant is a flaky light breaded pastry with small lines of dried chocolate syrup so the chocolate taste is minimal. I am a fan of this specific Paris Baguette bakery. It is located at a strip mall with plenty of parking available. They have a nice selection of baked goods, but there were no Cronuts available. So I chose a couple of treats to satisfy my sweettooth. Took a seat at one of their tables, and ate my goodies. Blueberry Yogurt cake was tasty. Cheese danish was delicious. The quality of the pastries and cakes is great, no denying that. The customer service my family received was poor. My elderly father wanted to pay for our 2 trays so he pulled out his credit card. The woman working the cash register was extremely short with him when it came to the POS instructions. I stepped in to help and she was still short and rude. I grabbed our bags and said THANK YOU and she couldn't be bothered to even look at me. I wanted to call her out because it broke my heart to witness how my dad was being treated but I wanted to spare him and her the embarrassment. I've said it before and I continue to stand by it - good customer service is everything. It can make mediocre products not-so-bad or it can make great products not-so-good-anymore. Paris Baguette is a french-type bakery and cafe that originated in Korea. It's a mostly self serve setup where you pick up a tray, line it with clean paper to put your goodies on, grab some tongs and start perusing the bins of freshly prepared pastries and snacks, choosing what you like as you go along. This is much like 85 Degrees, but thankfully they don't keep yelling "fresh bread!" every now and again. You'll find french staples such as croissants, macarons, and cream puffs, as well as treats that appeal to their Korean/Asian consumers - red bean buns, green tea flavored items, and hot dog buns (hot dog baked into bread). They've somewhat recently introduced their version of a "cronut", the half croissant, half donut hybrid to stores. Not into sweet stuff? No problem as they offer a nice variety of savory items as well. They also have delicious cakes you can purchase whole. I've tried a couple and they also appeal to Asian tastes - not too sweet with a whipped cream frosting. The cakes are fairly pricey, but they are so pretty! PB is also a cafe so they have coffees, cold/hot drinks and sandwiches. Small gripe is that late afternoon when I've gone, many of the cases were empty or almost empty. I wish they'd restock so that it looks nicer, and you feel confident you're not getting the stale last bits of the day.
