Quality has gone down. I used to be a tiramisu lover and usually gets a tiramisu cup when I stop by the store. This time would be the last time I would buy tiramisu from Paris Baguette. First, the cocoa powder layer appeared to be wet when I opened the lid container. Second, the creamy layer didn't taste good anymore. It used to taste creamy, but now it barely tasted anything rather than sweet. The bottom layer (cake) was mushy and wet. Such a disappointment. I just didn't feel like it is tiramisu and Paris Baguette's quality anymore. Especially their price is higher than others (85c or JJ bakery), but at least others are consistent with their quality. Paris Baguette just lost it. I couldn't finish the cup and had to throw it away. The reason why I still give 3 stars is because we bought a birthday cake on the same day and it tasted very yummy. read more

The staff here is always so warm and friendly. This is the type of place where you feel comfortable becoming a regular, as they treat you as such. They have a pretty good selection of things to try, coffee is good and pretty well priced. Try the mocha frap thing they have, it's really good! The place is very well kept and cleaned, as well as the bathrooms.. Pretty good place to hang around for a bit while sipping coffee... I can't thank Yelp enough for helping me locate my favorite places. I knew that Paris Baguettes were located all over LA. I was in Cerritos and rather then hit up the PB in the Cerritos Mall (I didn't want to fight for parking and head into the mall just for some pastries), I Yelped it and found another one not too far away. Same good tasting pastries and good service. The Carmenita/Cerritos location hit the spot. They have the same PB pastries, cakes and coffee you can find at another PB location. My favorites are the hot Cafe' Latte, chocolate croissants, blueberry cheese pastries and the taro and red bean pastries. Plenty of parking, credit cards accepted and the location is clean. read more

Just wondering how I can give no stars. The day was my birthday. I called in the morning to order a Blueberry chiffon cake to pick up in the evening. I think it is an easiest order for a bakery, right? No that simple. It turns out the baker did not see the order and my cake will be out the next day. The salesperson there said he is sorry. But I think it is just from his mouth, not his heart. At this particular store, I tried the following items: Pain aux chocolate was excellent, but too sweet and buttery croissant Nuts pastry was good too. Reviewing mostly to give my regards and thanks to the young woman (with bleached long blonde hair) who attended the cashier. My young son saw a drink at the register (probably one of the staff's drink) that caught his eye. I asked the lady at the register what drink it was and she told me it was a ginger strawberry lemonade. But she warned me that it would probably be a bit too spicy for the little one. She then recommended a strawberry smoothie instead for my son. I appreciate the fact that this location is clean. There are plenty of parking all the time so you don't need to worry. This place may be hard to find at first as it is very small and the sign is not visible. It's also sandwiched between businesses. I went on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy. It looks like there was a change in ownership. A young woman, maybe the owner' daughter, was filling displays, and she had attitude written all over her face! Maybe she didn't want to be there, and it certainly made me not want to ever come back. I discovered it way too late -- but that might be okay because their croissants are amazing and lord knows I need less of those in my diet. :D In a quiet shopping strip in Cerritos, this place is a hidden gem! I hear they also have one inside the Cerritos mall that does quite well. The difference? Location location. The 3x I've come into this place there's been no line and hardly any patrons. I can't figure out why. There's so much to take in here! I'm still discovered new tasty treats on every visit. They packed my cake inside a used box, and lied to me that it was new. I bought the cake tonight. The worker couldn't find the box for the cake. So, he called his boss. I was very thankful because he was trying his best. BUT THEN I OPENED THE BOX at home to stick in the candles. The box had crusty old yellow cream smeared inside. My cake had a hard chocolate glaze from top to bottom. So, where did this yellow cream stain come from? Why do they even keep used boxes?? I should note that this location is rather small and local to the area. A lot of people come here with friends and family in groups, thus, the seating might not always be available (though so far the times I've come, there's been plenty of open seats inside and out) and some popular items might not be in stock. Though looking at the positives: the surfaces were clean, the atmosphere was nice (I like the tiles on the right wall), food and drinks were tasty (my iced mocha was especially good today) and the staff were very kind. When they smiled at the small, trivial errors that they made, I found it very refreshing and that brought a smile to my face as well. Overall, a nice experience. It was my first time at Paris Baguette and I didn't really understand how it all works and the sweetest woman came up to me and explained it all. I was trying to get some goodies together for my customer (and of course a little somethin somethin for me too lol!). So I got a little of this and a little of that. I also got a cafe latte (I think..?) and checked out. I sat down and was enjoying my yummy morning pastry and the woman who originally helped me out came by and checked up on me and then brought over a few other items for me to try. She said that they were really popular items. I was blown away!!! Did she really just give me some complimentary goodies???!!! We always come here because it's closest to us. It used to have those cream with fruit pasties but somehow they don't have them or make them anymore. Also the male employee with longer hair is pretty rude. He was not friendly the week before when we went and met him, and today we saw him again and he was rude again. No hospitality or costumer service what so ever. We won't be going to this location anymore just for service we got. Next time we'll drive a little further to the Buena park location, or the one in Korea town. They have so many more pastries options than this store. read more

This is where we go for the birthday cakes in our family. I found this bakery by chance but ever since that first visit, this is the mandated stop for us. Our favorite is the fruit tart. A close second is the strawberry chiffon cake. Anything chocolate is also an option (even for people who don't like chocolate- what?! I know). When you walk in it just has that delicious fresh pastry smell. I had to stop to take it in. Once I walked up to the glass display case with an assortment of cakes and descriptions of the cakes I found it very difficult to choose. There were so many beautiful and delicious looking/sounding choices. Not to mention I was surrounded by delicious looking little goodies everywhere. I was in a rush so I unfortunately didn't have time to browse. (Knowing me that's probably for the best) anyway, I ended up choosing a three layer chocolate cake. Horibble staff. Rude. I will give them negative stars if I could. They had a wet floor and my wife slipped and fell. When we told them that the floor is wet and there is no sign. They very rudely replied they were going to put it and because we entered they did not. They could have verbally told us that the floor is wet but they did not. Then they were very rude at checkout. Reviewing mainly for coffee. This place prob has the cheapest good quality iced coffee (that comes premade w/ cream and sugar). Had to find an alternative to feeding my sweet iced coffee addiction/save my wallet since my beloved 7 leaves coffee every other day rly isn't sustainable anymore after their wild price hike ($3.90 now)... but glad I can now come here instead! A large iced house coffee 20 oz for just $2.50!! And you can adjust the sweetness! Really good. Not the same taste as 7 leaves ofc but an amazing and more than sufficient alternative--I'm very happy! This is the closest PB to our friends in Cerritos. I stop by at this store ONLY if I am visiting them and decide to stop by impromptu. I buy goodies from here, drop it off with them. I have even purchased couple of birthday cakes from here last year. Pros: It is PB. As I mentioned above, close to our friends house. Cons: Not much selection at all. Very small store. I had time in between my classes to grab a quick lunch and this place came to mind after reading all the great reviews. I snagged a stall right in front of the bakery. It's a small but cute bakery with some tables inside. I grabbed me a pain au chocolat, choco. chip bread, and a veggie and ham brioche pizza. I gobbled up the pizza fairly quickly. It was tasty, but nothing special. I took one bite of the croissant and mmmmmm....I was in chocolate heaven! I normally like my croissants super flaky, but not when it has some sort of cream inside. I don't know why, but I just don't want to have to deal with all the flaky mess plus whatever ooey gooey goodness is inside. This one was perfect! Fluffy croissant with chocolate drizzled on top and a generous amount of chocolate inside! Later, I had the choco. chip bread with a piping hot cup of green tea latte. It looks like they use the same type of chocolate here as in their pain au chocolat. It was basically a sandwich with a whole lot of chocolatey goodness between two soft buns. YUM! Paris Baguette is one of those shops that we go to every now and again but never crave. They have a wide assortment of baked goods that are unique and while they are good, I feel are a bit overpriced. The shop in itself is rather tiny and it's hard to comment on how it is during the day, at night the offerings are understandably slim. I do enjoy their red bean buns and some of their croissants so I give it a try and see for yourself how they fare. Customer service is always great, place is pretty clean so overall it's a try but not really a must go to event. read more

I've stopped in this bakery many times over the past several years and have always been pleased with what I've bought and the staff has always been pleasant and boxed up my purchases with a smile. Definitely a fan of the chocolate croissants as well as the plain croissants. I got a mocha cake here a few months ago for a party. Everyone just loved it. It was moist and flavorful and, as you would expect from an Asian-run bakery, not too sweet (but still satisfying for someone with a major sweet tooth like me). Yesterday I got a couple of mini chocolate lava cakes. They are about the size of a cupcake. You pop them into the microwave for 30 seconds to heat up the chocolate goo in the center and it's a fantastic treat. I love goo. Some of the items, especially the cakes, are a bit pricey but always satisfying. read more
