It's a toss up when you come here. The ice coffee with milk and sugar really depends on the day you go. I'm pretty sure this is a staple item on the PB franchise so I'm not sure why Millbrae's is not great. I've bought cake here a few times and some were fresh while some weren't. Been going here for almost ten years now. Don't know who the new management is but this location has gone down in service. It's 3pm and half of the shelves are empty. I asked for bathroom door code and the manager was really rude in telling me there was no code. The bathroom was absolutely filthy no toolset paper no paper covers for the seat. Complete lack of customer service but the Latino gentleman is still very polite. Part of the older staff. First time I had a less than good experience here and very disappointed. read more

Ordered a fresh fruit shaved ice but they told me they didn't have any fruits. Which i don't understand bc it's a bakery that sells pastries with fruits and they also sell fruit drinks?!? This place has really poor service and the pastries don't seem fresh. I've come here multiple times, and there's always a long line at the cashier even when the cafe isn't really busy. Why? There's never anyone manning the cash registers. More than half the time I have to call someone over to man the register because there are people in line being ignored. Today, I bought some pastry with a smoke hotdog or something in it and it tasted like it has been sitting there for a few days. Honestly, just terrible. Pastry are always a hit. Only thing I can recommend is check your receipt with what you buy as shelf tag reads a different price than ring up price. This happened last week where a bakery shelf tag was 2.65 and they charged 3.10. Luckily I caught it otherwise I would've been overcharged. read more

I have been a fan of Paris Baguette in Millbrae for years, but I am terribly disappointed in this store now. The Staff are so unprofessional. I placed an online order on 11/20 and got a text confirmation. When I went to the store to pick up the cake on 11/23, I was told there was no record of my order. They told me to pay again in order to pick up the cake, and then the manager would refund me after receiving my CC receipts. The next day, I texted the CC receipts to the store, but no refund was processed. The staff got upset at me because I was following up about this issue. Jonathan was so rude and handled this situation in a very unethical manner . Also the manager never contacted me. Please try not to place an online order. Prices are higher and if something goes wrong in the payment side, no one will help you. read more

This place is great for those with NO taste buds. The cakes look pretty - in fact they look delicious- but when you bite into it, its cardboard with sugar. I have no idea how anyone would keep coming back to this place, yuck. I ordered the Mocha cake and it was basically sugar, cream and bread. What happened to PB?!! They used to be organized, faster and have more selections available. The past 3 times I've been here - the service was slow and more than half of the pastry section was empty! My favorite garlic croissants were not available on 3 occasions :( andddd I alway visit before work which is early enough for them not to run out. Enjoyed this place a lot , came here randomly in the afternoon and treated myself to New York cheesecake, as well as red bean filling. The pastries I ordered were tasty. The coffee, despite asking if it was strong and receiving confirmation that it was VERY strong, was dull, weak and tasteless. On this particular visit, when I was ready to drop 50 bucks or more to feed an entire office of hungry hungry.... data entry geeks?? I asked them if they take Amex. I know, Amex is frowned upon these days, but the company I work for uses Amex, so what can I do?? So, the lady behind the counter looked at me and then she began to stare through me and said, after a long, dull silence: NO! No American Express." I wanted to try everything but my waistline can't handle it so I settled on getting a chocolate turnover, a spinach and feta puff, a ham and cheese croissant, and a crab croquette. By far the spinach/feta puff and crab croquette were the best. It was a perfect blend of savory filling with sweet outer pastry. I also got a mocha cake to celebrate my dad's birthday. This location is pretty big and really clean! Tons of tables to sit at and study! They have all the usual Paris baguette, breads, pastries, and cakes as well as sandwiches and coffees. Usually when I go to Paris baguette, they're out of cronuts but they had it at this location! They were soooo big. Unfortunately, I had just eaten and was really full so I didn't get one. This location's selections seem a bit less than the ones in South Bay. The signage is missing at times and the staff seem new at ringing orders even though they're as helpful as can be. My favorites include the curry croquettes, any of the buns with creams, and melon pops. The cakes are also worth a try, but somehow I prefer Chinese bakeries even though Asian pastries are less rich and sweet than American ones. What makes me leave is the spotty wi-fi that makes it inefficient to work here at a cafe. Thus, I'd rather grab stuff to go and go somewhere with a stable connection. read more

This is a great place to get some small yummy pastries and enjoy them with a coffee. There are way more different types of sweet and savory pastries at this location than the location near my hometown in Socal. You can find a lot of salads and sandwiches here, although they are quite overpriced. I was surprised to find that they have different flavors of cronuts here (croissant + donut = buttery flaky heaven in a donut shape!). It was ok haha - the layers weren't flaky enough so everything got all smushed together with the cream, so it was somewhat difficult to eat. This could be a decent place to study. This store (BP Millbrae) didn't follow COVOD-19 safety protocol. I went to this Monday around noon time to get bread, an old lady was in the store WITHOUT a mask on. She's buying a hot drink and also talking to the staff. I asked the cashier later whether mask was required for the customer, she said yes, but also said that lady never followed the rule.
