Came here to get my birthday cake slice. It was my first time at this location. I love Paris baguette. I also had the hot chocolate which was great. The staff were ok. I didn't appreciate that the did not allow me to sit to have my drink when it was still 30 minutes before closing. If the business closes at 11 pm why can't someone have their beverage if there are still 30 minutes before closure. The should at least have a sign up and then I wouldn't have bought a drink. This is the best pastry shop in this part of the Upper West Side. A huge variety and everything has been delicious. I also like to come here for coffee and sandwiches. I like the croissant donuts, but it's not nearly as good as the original "Cronut' at Dominique Ansel in SOHO. I stopped by this bakery earlier today to buy some pastries for my family. My nephew loves berries so I bought the Berry tart for him, and I also bought the pumpkin cream donut and one of the Halloween donuts with cookies and cream filling. The berry tarts are always good and pricey ($9.19). However, my nephew deserved a treat so I got it. He was so excited. The pumpkin king cream donut was good; it reminded me of the Boston cream donut from dunkin donuts but with pumpkin custard instead of vanilla and the donut texture was similar as well. The Halloween scream donut was okay. I wouldn't buy it again. Overall, the desserts were nice. I enjoy buying the parties at this location because they display the pastries well and they aren't squished or anything. They are decorated well. The service was exceptional. One of the store staff placed each of the desserts in its own box so they wouldn't be squished and he was very helpful and nice. Paris baguette has a beautiful display of cakes when you walk in and the pastry case is beautiful as well. Very clean location and the staff is polite. My favorite cake is the strawberry cream cake and the tiramisu. We get it for almost every occasion. I tried the crab meat croquette. The outside is crispy. Good bread to filling ratio. The filling is a little sweet but I guess most crab fillings are. It was good. The Cronut was my favorite. There was a cream Filling that I was not aware of but made it twenty times better. The orange taste is refreshing. Definitely a good place to stop by and get pastries. I find then reasonably priced especially since the pastries are big! read more

So I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I guess in a city where you see a bunch of these, it's easy to just write it off. But I decided to give it a whirl, I was sick of pretty much everything in the hood anyway haha. So I like their self service pastry bar. Their cheese danish was probably among the best I've ever had. And their pain au chocolat (differs from the chocolate croissant...you'll see when you go), it rivals that of Pain Quotidien. They have cold brew, and it's strongity strong strong. So much so I need to get extra cream And extra sweetener ... but it does the trick. Tried couple items both sweet and savory: Coconut mango cake tart slice: loaded with fresh mango chunks, very refreshing, mixed with light and fluffy whipped cream. Didn't get much of coconut flavor though. Tiramisu piece: loved the mascarpone layers - very light and flavorful and delicious. Topped with some fresh raspberries - great touch for a summer treat! Wish the cake layers are more moist. Hash brown bread: very interesting concept of carb on carb lol. I actually quite enjoyed it! A thick layer of hash brown topped with a slice of cheese and a slice of ham. The bread is soft and very flavorful. Crab croquette: was bit disappointed with this one - wish there's more filling (especially crab) inside, and also the texture is not my thing (it's bit dry for me, but maybe that's just how croquette is supposed to be and I'm just a croquette person lol) read more

If you want to impress your guests or be a favorite at a dinner party, grab a chocolate cake or chocoholic Chiffon, for coffee lovers: Capuccino cake, Mocha cake or tiramisu and enjoy the desert. The coffees are great. The premade sandwiches and salads are spot on. It's pricey but worth it. Can't compare to the crap they sell at Starbucks or other chains. It's good. Personal favs: chocolate ganache cake, rich and decadent, a tiny slice will fill your chocolate addiction. Mixed berry tarts are beautiful and look truly amazing on the table. Upon entry the staff was friendly and greeted us. They offered their personal support and opinions on what to get based on our individual likings. Moreover, the staff even gave us a friendly wave off as we left. Management and employment is run pretty effectively here. I highly recommend getting any breakfast pastry that they serve. To that point, their croissant's are airy with the perfect light sense on crunch with what ever respected filling they have inside of them. My personal favorite was the Bavarian creme filling. The croquettes are good, especially when they are warmed up, but in the sense of traditional croquettes; the top layer of the bread is thicker than what French culture allows (don't let this take away from the deliciousness though(it just makes for for a heavier entree)). Also, if you don't want a pastry, they offer a delicious and nutritious honey chicken baguette sub. Ask them to warm it up and you will be hooked asking for more. Lastly, the brew of coffee we had tasted burnt as I think they grinder their beans a little too fine, so I don't see myself ordering coffee again. All in all, I will be a repeat customer here for breakfast pastries and toasted subs. read more

They must have really revamped their customer service since the last reviews were written because everyone was super nice. We were greeted upon entering and the cashier was really friendly. They have indoor seating available as long as you're willing to fill out a contact-tracing form and get your temperature taken. All the pastries are prepackaged now due to COVID guidelines. But everything tasted light and fresh, up to typical Paris Baguette standards. Next time I'm going to try one of their breakfast sandwiches because they looked so tasty. I've always had to complain and wait for 10 minutes for a new one. When I get the new coffee, it's always scalding hot and overfull.
