Best San Diego banh mi ! I thought everything was delicious. I highly recommend and would definitely come back. It's a simple and easy menu. The staff is fast. There's tables to sit and enjoy inside.

Sandwiches are good and decently priced. They have a pork belly as an option which is uncommon in most Vietnamese restaurants. I wish they would close a bit later. We had it to go since it was near closing time.

Vietnamese Iced Coffee (and they also have Thai Tea).

This location offers a variety of sandwiches, with the crispy pork belly being the most popular (and I can tell why - it looks the best). I tried a plate and it was large enough to share if you want room for a treat after the meal. They have plenty of treats, from smoothies to pastries to iced coffee/teas. Plus there are some panty items too. Super nice couple. This is a new location, and only somewhat affiliated by some of the other locations in San Diego (different branches of the family operate different locations).

My review is long overdue since I visited during their grand opening back on March 12. I was going through my camera roll and realized I never left one, which didn't sit right with me because this place definitely deserves its stars. Point Loma and Midway is honestly becoming the place to be. There are so many new restaurants and shops popping up, it feels like a hub of booming businesses. With that comes traffic that can get pretty bad, so plan ahead if you're not from the area. Paris Sandwiches is located in a smaller plaza too, so parking can be a little tricky with tight spots. When I visited, the storefront had a big grand opening banner and the inside was semi-decorated for the occasion. There's some booths here, I think about two. Other seating includes a small countertop. They were also running a promo where every sandwich came with a free drink, either Thai tea or Vietnamese coffee, which is honestly the perfect combo with a banh mi. I believe this is a sister location to the Mira Mesa spot and part of the larger Paris Bakery family in City Heights, so I was really curious how it would compare. I had recently tried the crispy pork belly banh mi from Paris Bakery, so that flavor was still fresh in my mind. I ordered the crispy pork belly banh mi with a Thai tea. Service was super friendly and it actually wasn't too busy, which surprised me for a grand opening, so it felt like I got a lot of attention and care. They also have pre made snacks and I ended up grabbing some nem chua which was around $8 per tray. The crispy pork belly banh mi comes packed with crispy pork, pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber, cilantro, jalapenos, and a sweet and sour sauce all in a fresh baguette. I loved this sandwich. It was super filling and loaded with crispy pork pieces, and the sauce tied everything together really well. The veggies were bright and fresh and the bahn mi was big enough for me to save half for later. The Thai tea honestly surprised me. It was super creamy with a richer depth than usual. My husband got the Vietnamese coffee with a grilled beef banh mi. The coffee was good but leaned a little toward that powdered coffee taste. The grilled beef had a nice lemongrass flavor which I really liked. The nem chua was solid too, slightly acidic, clean tasting, with a good amount of pork skin and little peppercorn bites throughout. Overall, this location seems to be doing really well and the reviews make sense. A big plus is that this spot isn't cash only like the City Heights location. Service was welcoming and the food was genuinely great.

Store front and the cigarette smoking guy who harassed me about my service dog, I will NEVER shop here

After having a great nail salon experience by two super nice Vietnamese women I wanted to try this new sandwich shop nearby that offer sandwiches and other Vietnamese delicacies. Free parking in the small lot was tight and limited. Right in front and outside this shop was a guy chain smoking was not a good look to potential customers and for the business. I wanted to purchase a few things togo and of course support a new business. The female staffers behind the counter were wearing gloves and were helpful as they answered my questions as to the ingredient contents of some of the packaged goods. Lots of the stuff look good and so I purchased a couple trays of savory and sweet and a veggie egg roll and paid. Before leaving, I noticed a shelf of croissants and was about to pick some up to buy, when the chain smoking guy walked in yelling at me to leave the shop because of my dog. I informed him of her service dog status so she's allowed inside. He then continues and harassed me for paperwork proof, which by law he is NOT allowed to demand. I have the certified service dog proof on my iPhone and was about to show him, when he realized I had proof and now everyone in the shop was annoyed at him including the staff who were embarrassed because they informed him I had already purchased and paid. He walked behind the counter with his dirty cigarette hands to see proof of my receipt. He was proven wrong and should have apologized to me. As I remained calm, I was astonished at how rude, unprofessional this chain smoking person who claims to be the manager was towards me. This guy lacks professionalism, is far from management material and should educate himself of service animal rules and basic courtesy towards customers. Feeling disgusted by the guy's horrible harassment towards me, I informed the staffer to please cancel and refund me asap, as I didn't feel comfortable with such a negative experience at this sandwich shop where I will NEVER return and do NOT recommend. If you're walking around this area with your best pal pooch, do not even think about coming into this shop even for a minute as this chain smoking guy will harass you even if your pooch is service dog certified. Hard Pass No!!

Delicious I found this spot after my Kaiser appointment and it was so good. The crystal boba was strange, I would have rather had the typical black boba but it was ok. The sandwich was great.

Great addition to the area! Plentiful easy parking. Spacious, modern, and clean interior. Friendly service with great communication. Called in my order for takeout and pickup was very smooth. My #1 House Special was packed with tasty meats and pickled veggies. Hit the spot!

Second time at this location and again it was great! My kids love sticky rice and grilled chicken. The must get is the chicken pie pictured! People working were so nice and helpful. The store is more welcoming compared to city heights location.

Paris Sandwiches recently opened up in the Midway District in a small strip mall in the former location of a few short- lived cafe/ delis. It has been some time since I've enjoyed a Vietnamese sandwich. I was excited to go because I absolutely love French baguettes. I had also learned that they have a variety of breakfast sandwiches so I decided to try it out on a Saturday morning after the gym. The parking lot is usually a bit of a pain, but on a Saturday mid-morning it wasn't too bad. There is usually nearby street parking if needed. I was greeted kindly by the young woman at the counter. She seemed passionate about their food and told me how the desserts were made fresh. I also saw another woman making a batch of fresh baguettes. I chose egg and sausage sandwiches for myself and my husband. There were a few tables in the restaurant, but I got my order to-go. While waiting, I looked around to see a large variety of sweet and savory croissants. I think this place could be a bit dangerous for me! Anyway, the sandwiches were generous in size. I loved the crispiness of the baguette along with the mix of spicy, sweet, and tangy flavors inside. I really enjoyed my sandwich. I definitely will have to stop back to try some spring rolls or croissants. I'm happy to have Paris Sandwiches in the neighborhood.

Clean shop, the staff is super friendly. We got the chicken pie, veggie roll, and grilled pork bahn mi (#2). The bread is crispy on the outside (perfection), they cut the radish, carrots, and jalapeño thinly- which I personally prefer... and it was delicious. Also got the Vietnamese coffee (yum)

My wife and I were out running errands and ran across paris sandwiches, we love bahn mi's so it was right up our alley. The store was clean and the customer service was great she gave us recommendations and answered our questions about items. We grabbed a couple of sandwhiches I got a breakfast banh mi which had egg and Chinese sausage and all the veggies, my wife got grilled beef and a crispy pork for my brother in law. We all enjoyed them but for me the chicken egg rolls and the Thai tea are amazing you can't really find a good chicken eggroll that isn't veggie heavy and light on the chicken this was packed full of chicken and rice noodles and veg really good. The Thai tea had a vanilla taste to it, I don't know if it was the tea or the boba but it was bright and creamy. Plus the price is great I will be back for sure.

I tasted it and asked if there was any honey or salt. She said I had ordered a vanilla latte, which I didn't. She finally handed me a "salted honey latte," and it was gross and tasted like milk.
