This is my second time owning a Porsche ,and honestly, it was a mistake. Between my two Porsches, I've owned several BMWs, and I loved them. Switching back to Porsche has been nothing but a disappointment. The service experience has been a joke, completely unprofessional. I got a Porsche Cayenne three months ago, and it's spent almost 2.5 of those months at the dealership. All for a single issue: the start/stop failure error. And yet, the problem still isn't fixed. The explanation I was given? "Maybe the car needs to be driven 15 miles a day for the battery to work properly." That's absurd. I can't even drive 15 miles. Lights comes back after 10 miles. Each time the car is returned, the same issue appears again , over and over. No resolution, no accountability. At BMW, I never dealt with anything like this. They cared. They were responsive. Porsche service, by comparison, is not even in the same league. Honestly, it's been horrible. Nothing personal against Jonathan -- I don't even know him -- but you should never release a car if the issue hasn't been resolved. From what I can tell, the vehicle sat there without even being touched. And yes, the car is under warranty. Which means you need to find the issue and fix it. Period. read more

I had previously been using park Place to service my 911 for about 10 years. This is my third Porsche and I'm well aware of how phenomenal Porsche customer service truly is. Park Place Porsche continues to be the exception. I had an unfortunate series of issues and decided to take my 911 to Grapevine (wonderful experience). I learned that Park Place Porsche has a new service executive team and because I live so close I wanted to give them another chance. I spoke to one of their managers, was reassured things are different now and I agreed to schedule an appointment. I was told that I would receive a call to find a convenient time for me. Instead of this call, I was randomly assigned a date and time. I wasn't even given the courtesy of a call or email to pick a date. I'm sorry - but my time is valuable as well. If you're not going to pick up the phone and speak to me.. don't bother. On the other hand, Grapevine has been so courteous about contacting me personally via phone/email every so often to see if I'd like to schedule a time. It's a little bit of a drive, but well worth it. The actual grapevine center/building is new and updated (unlike Park Place which needs a remodel). Stay away from Park Service. There are many amazing Porsche Centers in DFW. read more

I brought my car in for service and it was returned back to me almost 2 months later . I assumed the parts were on order and that maybe there was some sort of supply chain interruption . It turned out that my car had been sitting parked in a corner -the parts were in stock . I asked the assistant service manager Roman for an explanation and he replied that he had no idea! I received no heartfelt apology and when I asked the service manager to call me , he simply blew me off. WARNING - Don't take your car here!! This dealership is the worst! Do not take your vehicle there if you want it to remain in good condition. I took my portion 911 in for schedule maintenance. $3500 later I pick up my vehicle and a button is missing off the radio. The service advisor Nick did not do a walk-through and just left and went back in the building. I went and got him and showed him the button and he took a picture of it. I've been completed the survey and made note of my experience. The new service manager, Giovanni Perkins"scheduled" an appointment for a week later to get the radio fixed. I show up for the appointment and there is no appointment scheduled. When I speak with thel customer experience manager, Giovanni. She tells me that she failed to call me back to tell me that they were not going to fix the radio, but they could give me a price. I am furious because my radio was not broken and the button was not missing when I dropped the vehicle off. Do not take your vehicle to this dealership.! Hate to leave a negative review but single worst car service experience of my lifetime. Took it in for a small rattle. Vic says no prob and thinks quick screwdriver fix. A week and a half later, No one has ever called. I have called countless times and no one can tell me what is going on but "Vic will call" or "manager will call." But they don't. They provided no loaner, so I am ubering for 1.5 weeks with no update. Called again and said I just want to get my car now, fixed or not. But they can't give it to me because the seat was removed. But they cannot tell me why or when I can have my car back. I recognize service is hard, but zero communication and updates is inexcusable. read more

Park Place Porsche Service s bad. Mo is an awesome service advisor but that's where the quality stops. My car has been in their possession for 2 of the past 4 weeks with relatively simple repairs. Then I get a message to Pick my vehicle today (from someone other than Mo because he's out), and I drive across town to find it's not ready. They are still working on the car. The entire process of driving back and forth across town today will cost me 3 hours of my time. The last time my car was in the shop, tons of settings were changed. It was as an f the service technician took the car for the weekend. Crazy. Because of the negative experiences, I will be trading in my vehicle with 80K miles (for something other than a Porsche) just to avoid their service department. read more

Bought a Certified Porsche 911 from them, drove it a week and broke down with engine failure! Diagnosis appears that engine needs to be removed and rebuilt or repaired. Still not sure though it has been in shop for 4 days and likely to be several more weeks at least. It is a nightmare. read more

I took my 2003 911 to have the ignition key bolt replaced (no it did not require removal of the dash) just removal and replace the bolt. The car only has 14,000 approx miles on it and is allways garaged. I gave no authority to do anything else and needed nothing else. I was told it was a 1-2 hour labor at most. I picked the car up yesterday in the evening ( already getting a bit dark, and received a bill for $1,200 ( the part was approx $498.00) I paid the bill and left. Most people were gone already. When I got the car home and into the light in the garage I could see grease hand stains around the dash and car , plastic and metal shavings around the floor and car and they had scrathed the paint off and not repaired the areas with the tools they carelessly used to pry out and replace the key bolt. So to be clear -I did not get a price estimate or give written authority for any work, I was grossly overcharged and can prove it and they damaged my car which is mint and hopefully collectible or will be. I have contacted Park place first thing this am, I got VM for representative who helped me and here I sit. They deal with the highest end cars at this location in Dallas, they overcharge everyone and they apparently so disrespect theowners who they overcharge that they dont even clean up after themselves or fix what they break while in the vehicle. read more

He has always been extremely helpful, patient, and communicative. If they do, I'll be back here! ***** This marks the 4th time I've been inconvenienced, only this time I've been almost a week without a vehicle, due to my car having a flat tire, this location never keeping my tire in stock, and them never having loan cars available. According to them, you have to schedule out loan cars at least a week in advance. My question is how am I supposed to plan out a possible flat tire or any other mishap with my Porsche vehicle in advance?! In spending so much on a luxury vehicle, you'd think they'd have enough loan cars on hand in case of incidents like this, such as not keeping proper inventory on hand and leaving customers stranded without their vehicles for days and days. My husband has a Lexus and is provided a loaner vehicle, no questions asked on demand, even for the smallest services such as oil changes. I've only had this car a year and seriously considering selling and going to another dealership so I can have the convenience of a loaner car when needed. I can't even perform my day-to-day activities without a vehicle and it's a huge inconvenience to have to Uber every where I need. I am a very unhappy customer and do NOT recommend Park Place Porsche. read more

Had my car have a minor paint repair while we were on vacation last week. Troy was my service advisor and he did a fantastic job! Not only did my car come back looking like new, it came in BELOW what they quoted me. Not just a little below, $260 below. I was shocked! I also loved the express check out - I was able to pay online. So, all I had to do when I got there was sign a document, get in my car and go! Every time I'm there I get five star service! I recently took my like-new car in for service for minor issues at Park Place Porsche in Dallas. My drop off experience was fine my service advisor was friendly and got me in my loan car fairly quickly and told me my car would be ready in a couple of days. Two weeks later I receive a call from my advisor telling me my car has been ready and that I'd need to pick up in the morning due to contract expiration. Obviously to my surprise I'm wondering why I was not advised that my car was ready for a few days, why I don't have a more of a window to make schedule arrangements to pick up my vehicle etc. The advisor was a bit defensive and indicated he had "sent a text" and had also called to let me know it was ready. No text and no missed call and no voicemail. On day of pickup, I wanted to speak to my advisor to learn what was wrong w my vehicle or why or why my car needed to be held for two weeks w no information / communication. My advisor was occupied with another client, so I left. I sent feedback of my experience, and received a call from the service manager who was a bit defensive and indicated that it must have been my phone routing their calls to spam (mind you there was no "spam" notated for his call; still no voicemail; and no alleged text). He almost acted as if I inconvenienced him by feedback. Where's the client service? No apology. No ownership or accountability. Terrible. Oh and still no acknowledgement of what was wrong w my car to be held for two weeks. Im an attorney in the client facing industry and well familiar with client service. This dealership entirely missed the mark. They were dismissive, rude, lacked communication and lacked accountability for their mistake. I felt completely dismissed. Not sure if it's because I'm young or that I am a woman, sadly probably both but also probably neither and this is just poor practice. You'll be glad to hear that almost three weeks later, turns out my car had a faulty headlight sensor. Thanks for the support Park Place Porsche Dallas. Go somewhere else! I called and made an appointment a week in advance and I drove 70 miles to get my GT3 inspected and have my "change oil" light reset. Once the very rude service advisor, Jose Garcia, found out that I performed the oil change myself he told me first that they couldn't reset the light. Then he told me that they could do it but it would cost $173.00. This is with me purchasing the parts from them for my oil change to begin with. Then, after questioning why it would be so expensive for them to plug the diagnostic tool and hit the reset button, he explained to me " because you can't get it done anywhere else". FYI, anyone can purchase a POR11 diagnostic tool for $145.00 and read all codes and reset lights. So then to top it off, he tells me that he won't inspect my car because he thinks my tint is too dark and " maybe you should take the car to place you bought it from" which I immediately drove to the dealership I bought it from and they said this guy was ridiculous and passed the car with no problem. These people need to understand that they are in the service business and drop the arrogant attitude. read more

I have owned three different Porsche vehicles in the last 18 years and have found that the service at Zims is faster and less expensive than the Porsche dealerships including Park Place. The dealership people are good for everything but if you are the kind of person who always wants the highest quality and the best price you can rely on Zims to be very competitive. For example, I recently changed out the battery on my 2009 911 Turbo. In doing so, the keys both lost synchronization with the onboard computer and I could not remotely unlock the doors or remotely open the trunk. Tony at Park Place Porsche dealership was not available and had to return my call. Eventually he called back and said I had to bring the vehicle in to synchronize the keys at $90 per key. Because I am frugal, I also had called Zims Autotechnik to compare prices. They told me how to resynchronize the keys by inserting them into the ignition. You do not turn the key, but hold the unlock button for five seconds. Boom! It worked. Both keys resynched for free!! That saved me a few hours in going to the dealership and $180 for two keys!! The service at PPP is terrible. I had to bring in my '14 Cayenne GTS to get re-aligned as it was drifting to the right. They said the vehicle just need it's tires rotated? They did that and the problem persisted worse than ever. I took it back in and the re-calibrated it. Still the problem existed. I had to take a service technician on the North Tollway at 80 miles an hour and let go of the wheel for him to finally realize this car was not repaired. Furious. Not 6-months later I bring it back in as the check-engine light was on and apparently a $1300 o2 sensor went out. They allegedly 'replaced' it and a day later - the same check engine light is now back on. In addition, they text you but don't return you text for hours on end (why even send me a text then?), they return emails a day later and don't really seem to give a damn. I've had better service at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine for my 13 year old Tahoe. I'm not returning here. I'm going all the way back to the new Porsche in Grapevine to service my Porsche and we live in Dallas. Unbelievable how bad this place really is. read more

Be aware when you pick up your car for damages. They replace high pressure fuel pump for my car . Next day I noticed technicians cracked my windshield on the left side where technicians worked on it . I took the car back and they denied that they did it. The advisor said they need to look at cameras to see if they impact the windshield. So be careful to check your car for damage before leave the dealer . And the service took 5 days to replaced the fuel pump. read more

My recent experience was TERRIBLE and if I could have rated it below a 1 star, I would have. First, I made a service appointment one (1) week in advance, thinking that it would save time. Unfortunately, NOT. Only after questioning the staff , I was able to leave approximately "AN HOUR" after my arrival. About 3 hours later, I received an email requesting a copy of my DL to be sent to the dealership. The next morning, I received another one requesting the loan car number. Around 2:00 pm, I received a call regarding my vehicle leaving me more confused then ever. I was told that the tech "could not find anything wrong, BUT it could be..." Then, 5 repairs were suggested to me (over $3000.) BUT I only NEED 1. REALLY? So, after being completely confused, I returned to get my vehicle. Before I could GET OFF THE PARKING LOT, THE SAME RED INDICATOR LIGHT WAS ON!! (THE MAIN REASON FOR MY VISIT) After waiting to show the tech, he appears and say, "WELL I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG, BUT IT'S NOT RUNNING HOT." Again, REALLY? Does that mean that I should wait until possible engine damage/failure? NO, it means to get a NEW, BETTER, EXPERIENCED MECHANIC AND NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP. I like the service department. They seem very busy and takes way longer than one would expect. In my case almost 3 weeks to even get to my car after dropping it off at an appointed date and time. I was given a loaner car. Then in a matter of a day or two I get a call to follow up on what to do and to hurry and return the car the same day and they would make sure my car was ready that day. I was out of pocket that day on a short business trip and would be back the following day. They are going to charge me $100 a day for the loaner car for not being able to bring it back on the day they finished. After I was waiting 3 weeks to get a response on my car then all of a sudden things moved fast in a day or two. I can't help I had business plans that day. Otherwise I like the people and how they treated me but again, they seem very busy there and have a hard time keeping up with service. read more

I just had service done to my macan two weeks ago and paid a hefty $$$$ sum for it only to have the brakes start screeching a week later & the "brakes are worn" light come on my dashboard. I thought I would just have them top off the air and they found a nail in my tire and stayed late into the evening to fix my tire so I could drive safely. My car is not fixed and is in the shop again. I bought my car over 4 months ago and have had these rattles from the first day. It has been in the shop longer than I have been able to drive it and it is still broken. I paid a lot of money for a high end car and you promised me this wonderful "experience" of owning one. The excitement that I felt is gone and I haven't been able to drive it even for a day without problems. My quality of life is worse as I spend way too much of my days worrying about this car that took a lifetime before I could afford. I lose sleep. I've been repeatedly inconvenienced and ignored and have lost faith in this service department. It's time to move forward and I want a new car. Doesn't the Porsche name mean something? Doesn't anyone at Park Place care enough to do what is right? Shouldn't I expect a better "experience" from Porsche? I can get better service and more attention at Walmart for buying a $20 toaster. Porsche stole from me the "experience" that I was promised when I bought the car. The only way that I can think of to make that right is to get a new car and start over with a car that is not broken. HORRIBLY DISAPPOINTED WITH PARK PLACE. I called on Monday to get my car in for service because the engine light came on. They said they wouldn't have a loaner car available for me for 8 days. I said I wasn't comfortable driving my car around for 8 days with the engine light on and that I'd like to speak with a technician. When I didn't get a call back, I called again and asked to speak with the Service Director. She wasn't available to speak with me so I left a message and after 24 hours since leaving the message, I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD BACK.
