My kitchen faucet corroded and I had a special time constraint that meant I couldn't shop around for prices. To replace my faucet with a $200 faucet they charged $1400, and then bait and switched the faucet to an even cheaper one. We had an issue with our sub panel which could have started a fire in our home. Scott Pazdon from Parker and Sons came out at 11:30 pm and inspected the issue. It was too big of a repair to be able to do at that time of night but he helped us come up with a solution to at least get electricity to our refrigerator so we didn't lose all our food. As promised, he came back promptly in the morning with all of the tools and parts needed to replace and rewire the subpanel. He was amazing to work with. It was over 100 degrees in the house without electricity and AC but this man was a trooper and kept his friendly demeanor and sense of humor through it all. We had another company tell us while servicing our 12 year old unit that we needed to either get a new compressor or purchase a new Air Conditioning unit as the amperage on the system at startup was above the manufacturer specifications and the unit may go bad this summer. We hired Parker and Sons to perform a diagnostics on the system and give us a 2nd opinion. Humberto R., told us that our system was within limits, but that the amperage on the system was above the manufacturer specifications (similar to the what the tech from the other company said). However, rather than try to sell us on a new system, Humberto suggested that we put in a high voltage start component to take care of the issue. Hopefully that takes care of the unit, but we appreciate the 2nd opinion and not being pushed into buying a new system. read more

I asked for a quote for EV install - the person on the phone scheduled my appointment and gave me a window of 2PM-6PM. I stayed home all afternoon and got a call at 5:30PM saying they can't make it because they were too busy. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Time is money and I wasted all afternoon waiting for someone to show up! We had to replace our AC unit late July, bad timing in Phx. The installation was great. Price was reasonable considering we had to replace the air handler, some electrical stuff and ducting. Parker and Sons recommended a ducting evaluation because the testing on the installation came up a little short so we wanted to know what we were dealing with. I understand they may contract out for these evals. But it seems that no one is concerned about customer service now that we signed the dotted line, had everything installed, and set up payments. We have called Parker and Sons 3 times to set up and schedule said eval. All 3 times no one showed up and no one called to inform us that they couldn't make it. Parker and Sons never called to say sorry we can't make it and can we reschedule. At the moment we will not recommend these guys to others. read more

1 Had appointment to fix air conditioner as it was 90 degrees our house and they didn't show or call which they promised to do. Then we called again and they said they might make it tomorrow even though we had appointment . Then they said run errands and they'll make it when they can. I normally don't write reviews but I feel I'm getting scammed. Grossly overpriced.....$550 to install a AC drain switch...a $50 part and it took 15 minutes! Quoted $900 to replace undercabinet light strip if I get the parts myself- wiring already in place, old one wasn't working. I bet you they would charge $2000 with parts for a 1 hour job. Quality is very good, workmanship is very good , but they do overcharge TOOOOOOOO much. I fell like I've been fleeced. The plumber came over, climbed the roof, snaked the clean- out, pulled out the wipes, and, for that half hour of work, charged me $700. My mother in law lives in Mesa Az and is 78 years old. Her AC went out so we (who live in Fla) called this company. They charged over $1330 to recharge the AC that had a hole in the coil, they said it may last a few days, but they could repair it for $7000. We asked how much to replace, they quoted $13300. We called another company JMAC that did it for $8900, which was the average cost for that area on a 5 ton unit. As a retired sheet metal/refrigeration journeyman, it is really sad to see and in my opinion your predatory practices for possible new customers and I wonder on your existing customers, I now understand now how you built a 210 million dollar company. On Jan 1, 2024, I called Parker & Sons at about 5:00pm because my heating was not working correctly and had a condenser fan motor that was running all the time. I had done a quick check to see if I could see the problem as I am limited in what I can do, do to back issues and traced it back to the defrost circuit board. When I called I was given and appointment of between 6:00p to 8:00p and I was told that there would be a diagnostic fee of $79.00. When your tech did not show, I called again at about 8:10p and was told that he was still on the last job and I was the next call. So I waited. At 5:17a on Jan 2nd, I received a text to apologize for not making it out and for me to call and reschedule. I guess this negates you being out in minutes as advertised on your website. I did call back in and was told that a tech would be out in between 8a and 10a on Jan 2nd and he showed about 8:10a and went up to look at the unit. After, about 15 minutes he came back down and said it was the circuit board and I asked how much and was given a verbal quote of $2000.00 to replace the circuit board. I asked the tech are you kidding me, $2000.00 dollars to replace a $200.00 circuit board. I told him I will not be priced gouged and so I gave him a check for $79.00 dollars. I immediately came in and call them back to speak to a manager about this price gouging and was told a manager would call me. I did find another company Wahl Air Conditioning that could do the board and I explained that is what I thought it was and that is was confirmed by the tech from Parker& Sons. This company gave me a price of $395.00 board included to install it. So I approved the install. When this other company came out they installed the board based on what was given them and it did not resolve the issue, so they checked the system and found that the actual problem was a burnt wire under the condenser fan motor which was shorting to ground and completing the circuit causing the condenser fan motor to continue to run. Once this was fix, the unit worked correctly. I call Parker & Sons back to speak to a manager again and demanded my money back as their tech did not thoroughly diagnose the problem as he was paid to do. According to him he tapped on the circuit board and the motor did not stop. Had he checked the all the wiring, he would have seen the problem. As of this writing, I have still not heard back from Parker & Sons. read more

We have been dealing with Parker & Sons for 15 years and the customer service, techs, plumbers, HVAC Team, Insulation Team (attic replacement) have all gone beyond the service required. Only problem I have had was with the last inspection, his computer/laptop was new to him and it did not take my payment, but got that one figured quickly! We had work done to our HVAC system back in June. They were very quick in the beginning to give us an estimate, explain our options, and get started on the work. Chris is a pleasant guy and after a brief chat he got to work. He did a great job! He determined that we needed a new wax seal and had one on the truck. This was an emergence since we did not know in advance that the hot water heater was going to decide to quit working and I am not one for cold showers! Parker and Son's gave us choices and prices. We went with their recommendation, and all has been well. Keep up with maintenance now as well. Hot water still going. Next, we knew our AC System was original to house. It was still going strong, had given us a few issues that hubby fixed, but it was still going. This was one thing I did not to deal with going out and being hot! We call Parker and Son's and they sent out a person to give an estimate. Person was nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. Got set up for a new unit to be installed. Crew was ready and everything was timed so well. Had the old one out and the new one installed quickly and efficiently. Brought everything up to code as well. In the dragging old unit and new unit in and out, the access door was beat up, very slightly in the install. It was not enough for us to lose sleep over. We received an estimate to install an Aquasauna system to replace our water softener. The quote was for $669, which was verbal, never provided in writing. I showed the technician the exact system we purchased from our actual order which is: Rhino® 600,000 Gallons with Salt-Free Water Conditioner I was concerned that the estimate was never provided in writing, so I emailed in order to confirm the exact estimate. We scheduled a time for the work to be done, 3 hours into the appointment window with no one showing up, we called and were told the appointment was never actually scheduled. That was frustrating, but mistakes happen. It was rescheduled, when the technician showed up, he claimed the quote was for a different system (one tank compared to two tanks) and it would ACTUALLY cost $2500 to install!! How is it possible the install quote increased by almost 4x? There is NO way the actual install times takes four times as long. We were quoted almost the exact same amount from a competitor for the install AND provide the Aquasauna system (which we paid $1400 for). So, let's see. Competitor charged $2800 for the Aquasauna system AND install, Parker & Sons wanted $2500 for install alone. The install takes, at most, 3 hours. So, Parker & Sons is charging $833/hour. Even the best lawyers don't make that much! I'm still flabbergasted that they're charging almost 4 times the labor time for what might take an additional 30 minutes to an hour (at most). We're having it done for $600 from another company. Stay very far away from this company. read more

We only get to our AZ home a few times a year- when we last left here in November we had turned off our reverse osmosis system- when we recently came out again I turned it on but noticed our ice maker was not making ice-- a quick call got service tech Roy out within a day who showed me another valve I had forgotten to turn on and now ice maker works fine.
