Came here for lunch - the food was fresh and tasted good, the restaurant has a nice view of the ocean, but the service was disappointing. Our server didn't seem very friendly, and when my spouse asked about our order, he seemed a bit annoyed. Turns out he hadn't placed it yet, so our food took a while to come out. A party of two that came in after us got their food before we did, which was a little frustrating...especially since we had our toddler with us (anyone with small kids knows the goal is to get in and out quickly lol). Came here last night for dinner with a group of 3. Everything we tasted was delicious! Our waitress was great. Super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We opted for some wine and cocktails to begin, and had it with their delicious warm bread and sweet butter. For starters we had the crab dip, caprese bread and Brussel sprouts. For my main dish, i had their 7oz fillet mignon. The meat was cooked to my liking and the sauce it came with was very good! Mashed potatoes and asparagus were standard. For desserts we had the passion fruit ice cream and butter cake. Butter cake was bomb! Definitely try this. It was big enough for 3 to share. Passionfruit ice cream reminded me of a sorbet you can get in Italy (was there last month) and was refreshing. Overall, forgot how beautiful this restaurant is. First time here, and would definitely go back. The views from the patio are beautiful. The menu is varied, you can get some amazing seafood, steaks and even sushi if you want. I opted for the Seared Hokkaido Sea Scallops over Chive Cream-Poached Potato, Spinach, Bacon Lemon Vinaigrette, Radish Sprouts and my colleague went for the Day Boat Catch of the day with Garlic Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Roasted Seasonal Vegetables. We added some garlic cheese bread and one had a cup of chowder. The scallops were seared nicely and tender. The fish dish nicely flaky and moist. Parker's is a cute restaurant by the water, next to the lighthouse. There is indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of windows for some natural light. We had family lunch here in a Sunday and the wait wasn't too long. Once we were seated, our server Allen came by to order drinks and tell us about the specials. Allen was incredibly attentive and friendly. He recommended the sea bass which ended up being the favorite dish of the day. We ordered quite a bit of food to share. Some of the favorite were the calamari, fish and chips, cheeseburger, and salad. And of course, the sea bass. We also ordered down alcoholic drinks and I was really surprised by how strong it was. We came for the Thanksgiving Buffet this year, $94pp. We sat on the second floor which gave us a great view of the spread. Everything was so delicious and there was something for everyone. Carving station included turkey, prime rib, porchetta (with cracklins) and salmon. A giant seafood spread with jumbo shrimp, oysters and scallops. Sides included crab cakes, stuffing, yams, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese..... Plus there were some salads, charcuterie, fruit and then the desserts! They had these wonderful chocolate cookies were almost like a meringue - a crispy exterior and a delicious fudgy tender interior. We hid two in my jacket pocket when we left, they were so good. I would give zero stars if possible The service is horrible from the hostess that is supposed to greet you and welcome you omg she is the rudest human being I've seen what a shame. Very unpleasant experience in your restaurant. I couldn't even enjoy the time I was spending with my father. One employee approached us in a very rude way, saying that you can't bring food from outside. We actually had a bag with snacks that were sealed, so we weren't even eating from them. My father instantly told her we weren't going to eat them, and then she escalated the rudeness by saying we couldn't have them on the table and needed to hide them. Mind you, it is a cartoon-sized small bag without any brand name or anything. At this moment, I couldn't tolerate her rude behavior and stepped in and told her, "What is your issue? We are hiding the bags." She immediately said, "You need to dine in or you leave," which I understand, but there are many ways you can say this to a customer, and you can't just assume that we don't want to dine. Actually, I ordered me and my dad the "I Love You" sushi, and it was below average. You can get similar quality for half the price from a food truck, and at least the food truck won't treat you as badly as they will. No water was brought to the table, and not even utensils, no napkins, nothing. Very overrated. And honestly, it feels one thousand times worse when my dad was treated like that. First time and celebrated lunch for our dads' birthdays. They keep the restaurant clean and there are great views of the shoreline harbor for most tables. There's also a bar area that has happy hour M-F 3-6 pm, can't wait to try this. Anabel was our server and she was great, very welcoming and accommodating. As for thee food, had a good experience trying the different entrees. The clam chowder was awesome but could have been a bit more hot but that's just my preference. My Cesar salad was nice, but too much Parmesan for my liking. The dressing definitely tasted hand made and worked well with some lemon. The grilled salmon was also great. Crab dip was one of my faves and loved that they served it with vegetables as well. Cod in the fish and chips was light and flakey and well fried with the light tempura batter. The lobster club was tasty especially with the garlic bread slices. In general food here is not salty and I like that, as you can add your own. On a Sunday evening, it wasn't crowded and everything was fine. No waiting to be seated. The night views of Long Beach and the harbor were good and some Xmas lighting remained. But you know what? The view is awesome. Sometimes with these types of restaurants, it's a "food is okay, but view was great". Well, Parker's wasn't like that! The food was actually really good. -New England Clam Chowder - Great Clam Chowder. The herb crackers were a bit weird though, like they became super soggy almost instantly upon arriving at our table so they were just a nasty mushy mess. But the free bread dipping it into this was wonderful. Pricey ($15 bowl) -Blackened Fish Tacos: Really tasty! Fish of the day for these were Salmon. Great flavor. -Seafood Linguine - Honestly REALLY surprised by how good this dish was. I would def. come back just for it. It was fresh - you could taste how fresh that seafood was and the pasta was perfectly cooked with just really great flavor from the basil pesto. Kid's Menu: -Fish&Chips - Really good! Fish super crispy on the outside with a huge chunk of soft fish (I think it was cod?). I was hoping that the free selections would also come with some fruit, but I guess the fries are the "chips" so that didn't happen. It did come with "unlimited juice/milk". Unfortunately, that never arrived at our table and we couldn't flag our server down until the end of the meal to get the juice. Also came with a nice heaping scoop of ice cream/sorbet. Overall, I did enjoy my meal but the service was a bit slow - there was only one server for the entire dining room so she was busy. Some things were missed (such as lacking juice for the kid's menu) and overall, I just wished the meal was a bit more efficient since the toddler was getting a little rowdy sitting for too long. read more

Very disappointed with our Valentine's Day dinner here. It was a prefixed menu. We started with the oysters and Caesar salad. It was $20 for 4 oysters, when the oysters came, they were very small and it looked like the meat was missing. I had to turn on my flashlight to see a tiny film in the bottom of the shell and I guess that was what they called an oyster. Basically nothing there. Even if they were good quality, large oysters, $20 is a lot for four oysters. Then my wife's salad came. $20 for a small Caesar salad that was mostly iceberg lettuce, and a couple croutons. Please see the pic. A side solid at Denny's was better than this... The entrées came and they were decent . One was steak and one tuna . The steak was small and came with about five stocks of asparagus and some mashed potatoes. The tuna came with white rice. $64 each! Expected much better for this price. It was not mastros! The last was the dessert. My wife got the chocolate brownie that was $15. They said they were out of it. I ordered the lemon tart, they brought cheesecake instead and I told them that I had the lemon tart and they could just put it to go at that point. They came back at the end and gave me the dessert to go in a box inside a paper bag. When I got home, I opened it to eat it and it looked like it was smashed. The box was still perfect, and it never got spilled in my car. It wasn't just upside down. It was broken and clearly smashed. That was $15 also. The reason I put two stars instead of one is because the waitress was very nice and professional. They were very busy that night understandably. Our group of 7 came for Sunday brunch and it was fantastic, from the seating, which had incredible views of the water and especially the Queen Mary, to the food which was so good, the seafood and sushi was very fresh, and the service from the hostess to our server, everyone knew how to treat customers well. It is definitely among the more expensive options in the area, but given our experience, it was well worth it. I think that the atmosphere/weather worked out perfectly for us, it was a beautiful day outside, not too cold and quite sunny, and we were seated outside (even though I stated an inside preference) but the umbrella and glass windows were well placed so that we were always kept comfortable. Parking can be challenging on Sunday afternoon if you show up too late, the lot filled up soon after we arrived. Be aware that your validation is not all day, only a couple hours I think so we ended up paying an additional $6 I think. Luckily, we were seated within 10-15 minutes after arriving at our reservation time. If you have to wait too long, you will be paying for longer parking time and that will add up. This is easily a top choice restaurant to celebrate holidays and special occasions. read more

Came back here for the annual work holiday party. In the first-floor bar, we enjoyed the Lavender Paradise, Blood Orange Bomb, and Cucumber Crush mocktails with a crab dip! In the party we liked all the food and drink items. Very tender beef and fresh salmon, with lightly grilled asparagus. Nice choice of bite-size desserts. In the Queensview Steakhouse upstairs there are great views. They set up tables for 120; tables were a bit close but not very close. Some congestion. People coming upstairs into the room get in the way of those checking into the party and of the buffet line. People sitting at the bar or waiting for a drink being made, block those ordering, who block bartenders going in and out of the bar, and waiters. The music was too loud to socialize with colleagues, especially on top of the already present low-level chatter. Even our adult daughter found it too loud. We had the same issues last year. In a large party, someone usually addresses the group, so you need a good mic and clear audio. But most speech was incomprehensible. Not clear what the party organizer was saying. If we won a raffle, we did not hear it. It would be good to provide a great PA setup for customers! read more

Yesterday's experience was redemption from 3 years ago. We arrived just 20 mins before they were opening for dinner so we chose to place a reservation at 4pm for dinner service. We chose to dine inside by the window, a bit windy outside to dine al fresco. We placed our drink orders and some starters: dozen fresh oysters from Washington and fried calamari. The calamari were tender yet crispy, and oysters were incredibly fresh and briny. For entrees we had the mixed grille that came with a crab cake, cod filet, 2 shrimps and scallops, and seasonal vegetables atop a romesco sauce. There's also a beurre blanc sauce to go with the fish. The seafood were fresh and seasoned well. I tasted a nice smokiness from the grill. My companion got some good ol' fish and chips. The cod was crispy and good sized. We had a nice family dinner, enjoyed the views of the harbor and basked in the breeze. Parkers' Lighthouse is a very visible restaurant located in Shoreline Village in Long Beach. Parking for all of the shops and restaurants is in a pay lot with an optional valet. Unless you get lucky and catch somebody leaving, the lot is almost always full so I just used the valet. We were celebrating an anniversary and I noted this on the reservation. When we arrived, the restaurant host immediately wished us a happy anniversary. It is always nice when restaurant staff does the little things like that. I always request to be seated in a booth and we were promptly seated in the main dining area with a great view of the Queen Mary. Delicious sourdough rolls and butter quickly arrived at the table. We ordered a few cocktails and the warm crab dip appetizer to start. The Raspberry Fizz caught my eye with a great variety of ingredients. Unfortunately, the iced tea in the cocktail overpowered everything else. She had the Pacific Sunset cocktail which was refreshing with good watermelon and basil flavor. The warm crab dip was indeed warm and had excellent flavor and a nice creamy texture. The portion size was generous and it came with crostini bread and slices of cucumber and red pepper. There was so much dip, we ended up using some of the sourdough rolls to finish it all. Next came the entrees. I love a good steak and ordered the ribeye. It was cooked perfect medium rare, had excellent grilled flavor, and the cut of meat was huge. It paired excellent with a glass of Justin Cabernet Sauvignon. My motto is "eat the good stuff first" and the steak was so big, it took me a while to finish it all. I only had a little bit of room left to taste the whipped potatoes and steamed asparagus but these sides were also very good. She had the mesquite grilled salmon which was also excellent. It had a Mexican spin and was served with poblano creamed corn, tamale gnocchi, spinach, and a good green sauce. It all worked really well and was a nice departure from a generic salmon dish. We were stuffed, but our server kindly offered us a complementary dessert. The chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream was a perfect finish to a great meal. I have dined at Parkers Lighthouse for many years in the past already, where my first visit was back in 2005. In my past several visits, Parker's Lighthouse has never disappoint me. However, Mother's Day 2026 this year, I am shocked about the recent performance Parker's Lighthouse has done. Mother's Day 2026 was my 10th visit to Parker's Lighthouse & I am very disappointed at the overall service & food quality this restaurant does that I must update my review do severely drop your score down to a 1/5. Here are my reasons for a severe score drop from a perfect 5/5 to now a 1/5: 1) Days before Mother's Day 2026, I already called & set reservation for 12:30 PM. But by the time I came, slightly early at 12:15 PM, they told me to wait until 12:30 PM. By the time 12:30 PM arrives, they still tell me to wait. We did not get a table until 12:55 PM. That is disorganized in terms of the reservations. When we book for 12:30 PM, that means by the time we arrive around 12:30 (+\- 5 minutes, that means table SHOULD be available for us by 12:30 on the dot!) 2) They offer the brunch buffet. However, the brunch buffet is too expensive & not much variety. Your rival: Queen Mary across the other side of the harbor offers a WAY BETTER Brunch Buffet than yours. Queen Mary's Brunch Buffet have Crab Legs of King Crab & Snow Crab; their Buffet, no offense, crushed your Buffet service. 3) We requested a la carte in the last minute, which you changed our table to an outdoor lounge. We requested an umbrella for shade provide, but no service for that. So we are BAKED in the sun, which ruined our lunch. 4) A la carte service is SLOW & DISORGANIZED. Arrived at 12:30 PM. Meals come out around 2:00 PM. 5) Seafood linguine, too salty, too creamy. Chilean Sea Bass, the Bok Choi Vegetables is not thoroughly cleaned out. My husband reported grains of dirt & sand still present in some of the Bok Choi vegetables; Chilean Sea Bass is too sweet in marinade. 6) Parking huge issue too. Difficult to find parking nowadays at the Shoreline Village. Overall, terrible & Mother's Day 2026 ruined. I am very disappointed with you Parkers' Lighthouse. Please improve your service organization. Other than that, you just lost a customer. read more

The location is set in the prime shoreline village, giving breathtaking views of the Queen Mary and the bay. Depending on where you sit, the view of the rest of shoreline village and DTLB. We had a reservation for 1:15pm on a Thursday. It was pretty slow needless to say. There was a couple who got sat before us and then my party and I, which we were a party of 6. We asked for patio seating because it was an absolutely beautiful day. We were sat at the very corner of the patio dining right next to the exit and where the handicap parking is. It was a pretty tight squeeze because if i wanted to get up out of my chair I was going to accidentally elbow the person sitting behind me at a different table. Like oopsie sorry I gotta get up and pee or sumthinnn. The waitress's service was average, no overly welcoming or friendly. Nothing to really note on. I had ordered the sushi bar poke bowl, which was plated very interestingly. Everything was separated so I had to go ahead and mix everything. But other than presentation, the actual freshness and flavor was THERE. I was in poke town flavortown. The tuna felt fresh with none of that yucky fishy taste. This plate also came with a miso soup. I enjoyed my miso soup except for the fact that there was a lot of seaweed in it. It was hard to scoop any liquid because of all the floating seaweed in it. Otherwise I highly recommend the sushi bar poke bowl if you want something that doesn't feel crazy heavy. The dessert was the star of the show for me. I am a creme brulee fanatic and boy oh boy. This creme brulee will have u creaming yourself. It is sooOoOooooO smooth and creamy. The light flavor and flavor-packed custard is to die for. 10/10 will cream again. They also gave a mini dessert for my dad for his birthday, it was a brownie with a scoop of ice cream. He said he really enjoyed it. I'd probably repeat my order if I return to this establishment, but otherwise, it was nothing that really sticks out to me to suggest this restaurant as a dining option. Parking is metered in the lot, and they validate up to 2 hours. Parking is not free even with the validation. read more

Taquitos and Burrata were pretty straight forward. My Chilean Sea Bass was wonderful. Everyone liked their dishes. Cheesy Garlic Bread tasted good. Dessert was just okay, Toll House Pie.
