I made reservations here via OpenTable and because my husband and I just eloped we wanted to celebrate our wedding dinner here. I requested a view of the Queen Mary. Although we had a window view, we weren't quite facing the ship. We were facing more towards the lighthouse. And I was kind of disappointed. But because it was a weekday and the tables by the window left early, our server let me get some pictures of the view of the ship. We were seated right away. We already knew what we wanted to order. I noticed they had zero proof alcohol and I was excited about that. I ordered a cucumber crush. It tasted more minty than cucumbery to me. We then started off with bread in the house then ordered 1/2 dozen oysters. Mmm the oysters we so delicious. It came with a side of horseradish, cocktail sauce, and vinegar. Our server, JJ, recommended the prime beef carpaccio. My husband isn't a fan of raw meat, but when he tried this with all the side toppings of the mustard-yuzu aioli, crispy shallots, capers, and maitake mushrooms on top of a cheese toast, he loved it. The capers and crispy shallots and toast give this dish texture and brings out the flavor of the beef carpaccio. My husband and I got the surf n turf. He ordered the 30 day dry-aged bone in ribeye and I got the 6 oz lobster tail with a side of Brussels sprouts. My husband got his ribeye medium rare. He said it was delicious. It cut so smooth and easy, like butter and was well seasoned. The lobster seemed a little too fine for me, but it was delicious with the butter and lemon provided. The Brussels sprouts were tasty, however we didn't care for the Gorgonzola cheese and ended picking it out. Our server JJ was so kind and provided excellent service. We were the last ones there and he was still able to provide us with a celebratory dessert of crème brûlée. And even took great pictures of us. Came here for a birthday dinner and honestly, everything about the experience exceeded expectations. There was a small mix-up with our reservation at first (we had requested a window view), but the team fixed it immediately. The managers stepped in right away, introduced themselves, and made sure everything was taken care of. That alone set the tone for the rest of the night. We ended up getting the perfect window table, and the view was incredible... overlooking the water and the Queen Mary. We arrived in the early evening after sunset, so there was still a bit of light out before everything transitioned into night, which made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and not overly crowded, which made it feel even more relaxed and enjoyable. The food was just as impressive. The clam chowder was piping hot and, according to my mom, the best she's ever had. I ordered the 30-day aged ribeye, and it was easily one of the best ribeyes I've had... perfectly cooked rare with a great smoky flavor that wasn't overpowering. The crab cakes had real chunks of crab (not filler), and the lobster mac and cheese was rich and perfectly done. Everything came out exactly as it should. What really stood out to me was the service across the entire restaurant... not just our table. From the moment we walked in, the staff on every level were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Even team members who weren't directly assigned to us would stop by to check in or make sure we were taken care of. That level of consistency is rare and made the whole experience feel elevated. My boyfriend and I decided to take a local vacation to LB for 4th of July weekend and wanted to treat ourselves to a nice seaside dinner (we don't get out much). This review is strictly for our service - the food was 5/5 stars. The views were amazing, the food was incredible, the restaurant itself was cozy and elegant.. BUT our waitress was actually kind of horrible and left a bad taste in our mouths. I'm not sure if it's because we are a younger couple (28-30) or if we weren't "dressed" properly enough for fine dining (I was in heels, bf was in a knitted black long sleeve, there were other patrons dressed in t-shirts and jeans so I felt like we were fine?), but she just seemed annoyed that she had to wait on us. Maybe she thought we were out of our element and couldn't afford to eat there? Idk. She asked us about 4 times if we were ready to order and we felt like we had to rush through our experience. She was abrasive, slightly aggressive, snobby, and quite literally took the menu out of my hands while my bf and I were just admiring the scenic view and talking. I tried to be nice and friendly but she was not having it. She had a very condescending attitude the entire time and it truly felt like she didn't want us there, for whatever reason. First time here and in LOVE! Happily it was a quiet Sunday night so the restaurant was relaxed. It is stunning, the third floor of the lighthouse is beautiful with amazing views and ambiance. Steakhouse located in an old lighthouse in downtown Long Beach. The first two floors are a casual restaurant, but the steakhouse is located on the top floor. The views are absolutely beautiful. The views are of downtown, the harbor, and even the historic Queen Mary ship. I came here for my spouse's 50th birthday. We had a beautiful table and even a signed card from the waitstaff. I started with the wedge salad, which was delicious. For my meal I had the surf and turf sushi roll. The sushi was very good and filling. My spouse had the steak topped with crab meat. If I could give more stars to a dining experience I would! We went to Queensview to celebrate a joint anniversary with our friends and were treated like royalty! (Fitting, with the name!) Parking is a breeze with a large paid lot, and they also validate parking. The venue is gorgeous and sprawling over three floors, with the steakhouse on the top floor. When we were seated (at our gorgeous table overlooking the Queen Mary!) we we delivered a card wishing us a happy anniversary signed by the staff. Our amazing server, Kaylee, came over immediately and greeted us and told us about the menu and walked us through everything. The manger brought us over the beef carpaccio appetizer and it was phenomenal-one of the best I've had in Long Beach. And if you are a bread-seeker like myself you will be pleased here as they offer sourdough and wheat rolls with TWO types of crave-worthy butter; honey and pecan, and it's amazing! Our drinks were served promptly and were perfection. We started with some yummy oysters and then I ordered the twin lobster tails and everyone else opted for steaks. They were all cooked perfectly and the manager and server checked on us to ensure our satisfaction. The sides here are great and large enough to share with a group. You can't skip the gratin potatoes! We also ordered the mushrooms and creamed corn and everything was amazing. There was also a live piano player in this gorgeous establishment who takes requests! I can't say enough about how highly i recommend this place! It's perfect for a special occasion or a romantic date night. Parker's lighthouse is the seafood restaurant downstairs that is a bit less fancy and has outdoor seating and offers great happy hour specials (I love their sushi!) The bathrooms are located on the second floor and are pristine and well-stocked. The view is amazing. You have the docks, the village, the Queen Mary. It's just an overall nice atmosphere. One downside was that it was raining and water started coming down from the ceiling and splashed all over me and the table. They moved us to another table and eventually removed the one where we were originally seated, but I didn't like how there was no compensation for that experience. Our dinner was $400 pre-tip. The least they could have done was comped a dessert or a glass of wine. We shared the prime porterhouse for two with the mushrooms and scalloped potatoes. The sides were great, and the steak was flavorful, but it was more medium than medium rare, which is what we requested. The crab cake appetizer was wonderful, as was the bottle of the red blend we had, the old fashioned, and the butter cake. And it was just as good as it was last year we even had JJ the same server we had last year. The food was amazing as usual had the porter house steak for two with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Had an amazing birthday experience here earlier this year! This has been a long waited review and I absolutely loved Queensview Steakhouse. It's super pricey but I think it was worth it for the one time. I would definitely go back with family or another special occasion. The parking lot at Shoreline Village gets super packed and it took us forever to park. You can get your ticket validated for a discount at whichever restaurant you visit. When we got to Queensview, if I'm not mistaken the first floor is Parker's Lighthouse, their sister restaurant that isn't as pricey? Then you take an elevator to Queensview! Super fortunate to have a front row seat to the harbor and the ocean view. Choosing a steak was the hardest part, it was between the filet mignon and Prime New York Steak. But I had to go with the filet mignon and it was so good. It actually wasn't cooked to perfection because it was very rare when I ordered medium but our waiter did a great job fixing it. I got this with fries on the side instead of mashed potatoes. My girlfriend got the Au Poivre Prime New York Steak and loved it. She loved the crispiness and the pepper seasoning. I tried it and loved it too. The best part was the Cognac cream sauce, had the consistency of a gravy and was so addicting to use on my fries and steak. I would recommend someone to get this sauce easily. On the side we also split the caesar salad without anchovies. It was a great touch and I would order this again to start out our meal. There was opportunities for us to have the window table and we would have waited if the option would have been offered to us. The steak was delicious. The asparagus, and mashed potatoes were also very tasty. The one thing I would not recommend to order is the macaroni and cheese. It was the driest, macaroni and cheese I have ever had (see photo). We pared out steamed with a nice bottle of wine. They have a great selection of wines to choose from. After all these years of living a 10 minute walk from this restaurant, we finally visited after a recommendation from an acquaintance. We were seated near a window with a lovely view of the port, the lighthouse, and the water. Newman was our server and made our experience very pleasant. I ordered the filet mignon-Oscar style. They were able to modify it for a gluten and dairy allergy. The steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. You don't need sauces at all. And the crab was delicate and light, you only wish you had more of it. There was live music and a festive ambiance. The manager made his rounds and they really try to make you feel a part of something. Parts of the building do look outdated or neglected. It seemed like such a small kitchen for so much output. There were close to 100 guests. Most ordered steaks or the surf snd turf with lobster. The oysters were disappointing, and I was sitting next to someone from Boston who agreed. I've had oysters downstairs in Parker's Lighthouse that were really good, these were not. I skipped the crab after those oysters. We all received an heirloom tomato/burrata/bread starter. Kind of like a deconstructed Panzanella salad. It was terrific and I ate it before I could snap a pic. Everyone loved their steaks and the sides were delicious. Lobster Mac was super creamy. Went on my birthday, needed a reservation. Hostess was kind of enough to call and confirm my reservation prior to. Food and service were great. Daniel was a very accommodating server. The New York strip was great, however I think I would prefer not to get the pepper crust next time. It's good if that's your thing, but everyone has different preferences. Partner was very adamant on the sauce that accompanies the steak being superb. The potatoes au gratin were really cheesy, but portion was a bit small for preference but definitely shareable. Mixed drinks were AWESOME, highly recommend their menu. But they have a full bar if you have something else in mind. I was definitely out of place eating here but I didnt feel unwelcomed. There are two restaurants with Queens view being on the 3rd floor. Check in when you enter and then you're guided to the elevator where you are then seated by the hostess up there. Our server was warm and attentive from the moment we were seated, recommending meals since it was our first visit. We ate around sunset and the lighting was perfect. A great view of the shoreline from any spot. One side gives you a view of the lighthouse and the other side gives you a view of the queen Mary. I'd recommend this as an ideal date spot, especially when you get to the menu and see the prices. They even had a pianist playing through your meal. "Just tell me about the food" here ya go: My interest in the spot was for the oysters. we also got prime beef carpaccio and a couple of drinks. You receive some complimentary bread. I liked the pairing of sourdough with honey butter. The oysters were tasty and fresh but quite smal (visual image provided to show size). The beef carpaccio was a recommendation. Overall, it was a nice light meal that reminded us of charcuterie but missing the jam. We did think the gruyere was a little overpowering. Too much cheese for us. My partner was satisfied with his craft draft, the German style amber. I found my lavender cucumber gin and tonic to be too plant tasting. Struggled to drink it but when its $18, ya got to. I should have gone with something sweeter but nothing stuck out. Overall, this spot nails it when it comes to the view and the service. We did feel a bit stuffy. The heat really does rise (especially when you're on the 3rd floor) and there was no AC, at least not running. We've been to Parker's Lighthouse a few times, but I never knew there was a steakhouse on the top floor. We had a reservation and checked in 15 minutes early. We were still standing around 10 minutes after our scheduled reservation, but we weren't in a hurry. Once seated we were greeted by Chelsea. She was great and very attentive. I ordered a La Marca, and hubby ordered their Original Old Fashioned. The bar was a little slow, but again, we weren't in a hurry. The jazz trio that was playing was enjoyable. Strip Steak, and I ordered the Twin Cold-Water Lobster Tails. We also ordered sides of Whipped Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus. All in all we had a great experience, with the exception of my Lobster Tails being way over-cooked. I made a reservation to celebrate my wife's birthday. I informed them of this on the website I made the reservations. We arrived on time and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Which was fine. They walked us to our table which had a nice view of the ocean. There was a generic card on the table saying happy anniversary. This was not a good sign. We asked for water and mixed drinks at the beginning and said we wanted their featured wine with our steaks. We received the mixed drinks, they were okay. We ate the shrimp scampi as an appetizer and that was tasty. We also asked for French onion soup and their Caesar salad. The soup was good, but did not have any croutons or other type of crunchy bread in it. The salad has thin slices of anchovies on it, so that turned off my wife from eating it. The waitress then took our wine glasses away, which we seemed a bit odd. We received our food. The food was okay, nothing great about it. We never got our glasses of wine. We only received 1 roll with butter while others received 2 or more per person. So make sure you say how many you want up front because they won't ask you again. For the cost of the meal and the quality of service we received. It's not worth it. Lastly, my reservation app informed me the restaurant accused me of being a no show. The ambiance was really nice. This place is really beautiful. I think no matter what spot in the restaurant you sit at the view is amazing. They also have a pianist playing as well. The seafood tower is super yummy and seafood is super fresh. That's why I was thinking the sushi will be good too. Unfortunately that was not the case. Went here for my birthday dinner! We had made a reservation but on a Tuesday night in the winter - there weren't that many people. I had ordered the petite filet mignon and it was super tender and yummy! The bone-in rib eye with some sides was also ordered and enjoyed as wells. The lobster mac and cheese and the creamed corn was also a fan favorite. Overall, we enjoyed the view of the harbor and Queen Mary and the more romantic setting lighting. Not all sides of the restaurant has the view of the harbor but still a nice setting. It's above Parker's Lighthouse. The service was nice but since we went a little later in the evening and slow - we felt a little bit rushed by the staff even though they weren't quite closed yet. read more

Wow what can I say about this amazing restaurant. The restaurant is in Parker's Lighthouse on the top floor and it overlooks the marina. This was a surprise dinner for me since it was our anniversary. We got the best seat in the house. Our view was directly overlooking the Queen Mary. Our table was set up with a card for us from the staff which I thought was a beautiful gesture for our special night. Staff was great and very helpful. They gave great recommendations since it was our first time dining there. We ended up ordering the platter of fresh shucked oysters to start off our night. It came with a few toppers for taste and my favorite was, of course, the lemon and vinegar. The oysters were a great size and very flavorful. You also get bread with two different butters which was also yummy. For our dinner, we ordered the Prime Porterhouse for Two meal. It came with two sides and a dessert to choose. We got the Potato Gratin and Brussel Sprouts. The potatoes were amazing and the brussels sprouts had a little crunch and were seasoned pretty good. Our porterhouse was cooked perfectly, so that was a plus. Overall, if you are looking for a great date night or a nice evening with friends, this is the place to go.
